06/07/2025: Delicious pizzas at low prices. The place is warm and welcoming, with a magnificent view of Chianti. The staff is absolutely lovely, a special thank you to Claudio who made us feel at home and live a true Italian experience!!

23/06/2025: I had a pizza during my lunch break. The pizza was nothing special but I can say that I have eaten much worse. Friendly atmosphere and kind staff. I feel like going back in the evening to calmly enjoy some dishes that were on the menu but that I did not take because I was in a hurry to get back to work.

06/07/2025: Discovered by chance on my way back from a business trip; the dishes I tasted (trio of tartare, tortelli with ossobuco and cockerel) were very good and well prepared and the waiting staff, kind and welcoming, made this lunch really very pleasant. If I pass by Greve again I will gladly return.

01/07/2025: An attempt to create fusion cuisine based on Italian classics. In my opinion, a bit unsuccessful. It may taste good, but... not in Tuscany. Chianti Riserva by the glass is great.

24/06/2025: We ate there yesterday, pizza and salad. The food was okay, but the bill was a rip-off. We paid €3.50 per person for bread and coperto, PLUS €8.00 for fettuccine. I asked the waiter about the €8, and he said it was for the oil (olio) for the bread! Italian friends said it was a rip-off. It's a shame. We're staying here for four weeks this year and next year... One experience like this is enough, unfortunately.

23/06/2025: We had an excellent meal here during our stay in Greve. For us, it was the best food for miles around. Very attentive staff, great wine, and the view of the piazza is, of course, a highlight. Highly recommended!

17/06/2025: The potatoes were too salty, the vegetables were burnt and overcooked.

04/06/2025: We only came for the restaurant part. For antipasti we ordered breasola and burrata, for secondi gnocchi tartuffo and for prima tranche steak. Antipasti was amazing they combined creamy burrata with salty breasola and cured egg yolk slices which was an amazing touch for the dish. Gnocchi was amazing and made with truffle slices. Meat was also so delicious, and was very juicy and tasty. The aromas within the meat was so good. Overall it was all amazing! We ordered what the owner suggested as wine and (shocker) it was so good as well! Francesco the owner was so nice and informative to us. Definitely give it a try if you are in tuscany!

22/06/2025: Il Caminetto del Chianti is located along the Chiantigiana road between Grassina and Greve. Excellent location with a classic Tuscan atmosphere, like the menu, and a beautiful outdoor area. Attentive and courteous service. Tried several times for dinner and have never been disappointed. Excellent appetizers, Ficattole and squaquerello to die for, the same for first and second courses from Pici all'aglione to the Florentine steak. Excellent quality/price ratio. Recommended!

02/06/2025: El propietario es tan grosero, racista y nada acogedor. Todo lo que solicite o pida incluso para el bebé fue tomado como una ofensa. Casi se pelea cuando le preguntamos si tenían papas fritas para el bebé. Pls ser respetuoso con los huéspedes en su país n restaurante. Pedir algo no es cambiar tu menú. Pls no visita este lugar en nombre de la vista. Para colmo toda la comida es patética

31/05/2025: Solo la vista era per vedere, Il cibo è pessimo, la pasta non è nemmeno lontanamente paragonabile a quella fatta in casa. Completamente delusi.. Mai piu a cena in questo posto

20/05/2025: We visited several restaurants in Greve. Unfortunately, we only visited Trattoria D'i Borgo at the end of our visit. All the dishes, including the desserts, were an absolute delight. Highly recommended. The quality brought tears to our eyes, and the staff were friendly and very charming. Thank you again.

12/06/2025: Very good pizza....but honestly €130 for 4 pizzas, 1 medium beer, 2 bottles of water, 2 sorbets and 2 coffees....it seems excessive to me....I understood that SPELA is not just the name it is also what happens to your wallet....

26/06/2025: Quiet place, friendly and helpful staff. Good pizzas, well-cooked dough and good toppings (in the photo is the Campana) and the appetizer the pasta basket with gorgonzola fondue and parmesan with fried pears. . Definitely good and enjoyable!!! Easy to find parking nearby. Normal cost.
