10/08/2025: A very pleasant place with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The entire menu strikes the perfect balance between local tradition and a touch of originality and culinary creativity. The Coccio appetizers are excellent, with very flavorful vegan agnolotti and ravioli, and tripe "just like grandma's." The wine pairings are excellent, and the dessert is also very good. The price is more than adequate for the quality of the ingredients and the service. Highly recommended.

01/08/2025: Lekkere pizza’s en heerlijke voorgerechten. Zelfs glutenvrij is mogelijk. Als voorgerecht de gnocco fritto met prosciutto crudo is een aanrader. Zelfs een voorgerecht met prosciutto crudo burrata en pizzastukjes om glutenvrij te eten.

26/07/2025: We chose this pizzeria during our vacation, and we loved it so much we came back a second time! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The wait was a little longer than average, but it was worth it! The pizza was excellent, as were the delicious fried pizzas. A good selection of beers. If we were to visit this area again in the future, we would definitely choose it again! Thank you, Enrica and Marco P.S. We came back a third time, and this time the wait was short, despite the tables being full. Thank you again for your delicious pizzas!

The class was perfect, and the meal was delicious! The wine was good and the price was more than reasonable! The two owners are lovely... And the setting is magnificent! 26/06/2025: The food was incredible and for the price of everything it was really worth the money in every way. We had bread, slices of pizza dough with herbs and tomato sauce and prosecco to start, all complementary. We then had the octopus pasta whichw as so filling, so much octopus and so delicious. We also had the tuna and roasted vegetables as a second dish which was cooked beautifully. We finished with the pistachio tiramisu to share and it was incredible. We had the house wine for 15 euros a bottle which was also really good - you can never go wrong with house wine in Italy! All in all the food and timing of the service was great and the atmosphere felt chique and warm at the same time. The o ly downsides are that it was very warm outside with no fans or any cooling (34 degrees was a bit much and even hotter inside) and the staff were a bit standoffish and not so friendly. They indeed did their job well, but even with the locals it felt a bit too strict service, it's okay to have a joke and smile but this was definitely not the case here. Edit - went back for takeaway pizza and the half British half Italian waitress was lovely!!

03/07/2025: A beautiful hotel in a beautiful place. David, the owner, is amazing. So hospitable and creates an incredible ambiance. The food is delicious, the rooms are luxurious, and the pool is perfect. A definite must visit.

30/06/2025: La Corte Dei Papi is a picturesque hotel/villa in Cortona that my girlfriend and I couldn't recommend more. We stayed at and attended our friends' wedding at the villa and have nothing but positive and glowing remarks about the scenery, rooms, accommodations and amenities, and the service. We were greeted daily by staff who were kind, pleasant, and attentive. Staff were beyond accommodating before we arrived at the villa; helping set up transportation, answering our questions, and providing us with a list of wineries in the area that we could visit. Staff were helpful in booking taxis throughout our stay and helped make traveling to/from wineries and the town simple. If you're looking to visit Tuscany and the Cortona area or looking for a venue for your wedding we highly recommend!

Papposileno isn't just a restaurant: it's a memorable experience, thanks to Ada's vision and the human and professional qualities of the entire team. A place to return to, and one I highly recommend.

27/05/2025: Excellent raw material and extremely good and beautiful dishes. The service is always friendly and attentive. The place is simple, but well-kept and very clean. Every time we are in the area we come back specifically, because it is an exquisite guarantee.

23/07/2025: WOW. This darling, family-owned restaurant in the tiny medieval village of Monte Benchi was one of the standout meals of our trip to Italy. Perched on a hilltop, the town—once a fortress—is now home to just 18 residents, three of whom run this incredible restaurant. The menu is handwritten on a chalkboard brought to your table, offering a small but thoughtful selection of traditional Tuscan dishes. Every plate was simple, authentic, and absolutely delicious. The standout was the spaghetti pomodoro — incredibly simple, yet easily one of the best pasta dishes we’ve ever had. We also loved the perfectly cooked Florentine steak, a delicate ricotta-filled “crepe” pasta, and lemon chicken that was understated but packed with flavor. Dining here felt like being welcomed into someone’s home, and wandering the picturesque, history-soaked village afterward made the experience all the more magical. An absolute must-stop — and truly one of the highlights of our entire trip.

26/06/2025: The restaurant is located in a very small and charming village, which enjoys a beautiful view of the hills, typical menu well presented by the co-owner. The first courses are good, the meat is quality and for this reason I would prefer less spiciness. (I took the pork fillet) but it is my personal taste. As for the desserts, I would have liked a little more originality in the proposal. Overall a nice experience. Reservations are recommended.

26/05/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and left happy. From the service to the food, even the glass of wine, was excellent. We went there a second time. The manager is always friendly and helpful, even when there were some language barriers, and the chef once again prepared delicious dishes. If it weren't so far from Germany, we would come more often.

23/05/2025: Very good food, nice service. A real hit in our group of friends was the tagliolini with truffles 😋, local red wine and delicious bread with olive oil (served while waiting for the food). Normal prices. 👍
