07/01/2025: Excellent overall. Very good appetizers. We tasted several. The cod is notable. The first courses are also very good. Exhaustive and well-made wine list. Desserts well presented but with little personality... tiramisu and hot cheesecake, my opinion. The only downside was the long wait immediately after ordering. In fact, to avoid this, we had ordered the starter of the day before the other two starters. The hunger and desire for good food were all there. But alas we were brought there about 40 minutes later. We enjoy the evening, the environment and the excellent company but then the wait becomes slightly too much. Excellent overall as written, but it would be excellent if their cuisine could reduce waiting times a little.

01/01/2025: Love, passion, kindness... these are some of the words that you read on the shop windows and that you find immediately as soon as you enter and again on the plates. 6 of us tasted almost everything Menu from starters to dessert and each dish was a sensorial experience of the highest level Compliments to the chef… we will definitely return as soon as we return from Those parts!

27/10/2024: Posto molto carino, soprattutto in estate. Cibo molto molto buono, si parte dalla tradizione toscana, ma si aggiunge sempre qualche twist in più. Un po' caro, ma con gli sconti (che fanno spesse) è più che accessibile. Servizio ottimo: attento e molto carino!

26/01/2025: THE BEST italian food I ever had. Everything was super delicious and I was especially impressed by the pinsa. Pasta and risotto in the pictures were from the Special dishes menu. Besides amazing food,service and the atmosphere were excellent too. P.S. it's a dog friendly place.

08/02/2025: We returned to Buca di Michelangelo for New Year's Eve 2024, after having had lunch here in July 2024 and having had an excellent experience. This time too we found abundant, tasty and quality dishes, served by friendly, fast and attentive staff. We stayed in the hotel and the rooms were clean, welcoming and comfortable, perfect for resting after the celebrations. A special thank you to Annalisa, the manager's daughter, always kind and helpful, and to Mr. Alessandro (manager of the facility), who made us feel at home with his friendliness. On January 1st we had planned to have lunch, but after the abundant dinner we preferred to return for dinner, once again finding excellent cuisine and a pleasant atmosphere. We highly recommend Buca di Michelangelo to anyone looking for good food, hospitality and quality. We will definitely be back! Thank you very much and see you soon!

01/02/2025: Il locale è, per adesso, il migliore di Sansepolcro. Gli affettati, rispetto agli inizi, sono leggermente peggiorati (ma si parla da un 10 a un 8, il che è sempre positivo). Unico neo il personale: di tanto in tanto ne trovi qualcuno che ti tratta dall'alto al basso (dimenticandosi che sono sempre dipendenti e non proprietari, né aristocratici). Il locale è da 7, la cucina è da 8.

10/01/2025: Il giardino di Piero è un esperienza sensoriale...l'ambiente elegante e raffinato, il servizio accogliente e disponibile, con una host speciale...la signora Paola attenta a soddisfare qualsiasi tua esigenza. Alta la qualità del cibo...sapiente la sua preparazione...ottima l'offerta dei vini e degli olii. Grazie a tutti per tutto.

11/12/2024: We are a couple without kids. We were looking for a unique and quiet place to explore he landscape by car and mountainbike. We loved everything in locando del molino. The warm welcome, the kindness of the stuff the wonderful, detailed restored mill, the delicious meals makes the stay unforgetable. We recommed to book the half board. We definitly plan to come back. 04/12/2024: I stayed with them last weekend, very clean and beautiful room, with all the comforts, mini bar full of drinks, tea and coffee. We also booked at the restaurant and I guarantee you that it is a real gem, everything is delicious and the prices are right for what they offer. The staff is very kind and very helpful.

04/11/2024: Mi esposa y yo estábamos en Toscana para nuestra luna de miel. Nos enteramos de este restaurante por el anfitrión de la granja en la que nos alojamos. Este restaurante se encuentra en Montebenichi, una pequeña ciudad de la Toscana. Mi esposa y yo somos pescadores y no había ninguna opción para nosotros. Este restaurante es conocido por sus platos de pasta y carne. Sin embargo, no tuvimos ningún problema con la elección de ensalada, sopa y pasta. Admitiré que la sopa toscana local, Ribollita, fue absolutamente una de las mejores sopas que he comido! ¡Todavía sueño con esta sopa! El chef fue tan amable de hacernos pasta arrabiata que no estaba en el menú pero que hizo es especial para nosotros. La pasta era perfecta. El vino local era una combinación perfecta con nuestra comida. Recomiendo encarecidamente visitar este restaurante cuando esté en la Toscana. Estoy de acuerdo con otro crítico en preguntar "¿por qué no es este un restaurante con clasificación Michelin" - es tan bueno!

08/10/2024: To say that the food was perfect or wonderful would be an understatement. This evening offered us a complete and outstanding gastronomic experience. The food, the hospitality—without unnecessary frills but filled with substance—featured select ingredients, exceptional flavors, and above all, a genuine, homely, and incredibly polite and humble welcome. One of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful host and chef. The wine list was also superb, with rare finds. This place truly deserves a Michelin star for many reasons.

23/12/2024: Soggiornato presso Hotel durante periodo di Natale. Ristorante moderno, elegante e proposte molto accattivanti come menu. Carni alla griglia fantastiche , con sapore tradizionale toscano. Pane nero e schiacciata da oscar. Consiglio vivamente ( bambina sempre servita per prima , aspetto da non sottovalutare )

22/12/2024: I absolutely love this hotel. Loved it if I have to tell the truth. This summer we returned and I felt like a category B customer. I felt the staff was a little rude. In the bar near the swimming pool and in the reception area. And a shame. It seems that if you are not Italian you are a second choice customer. Furthermore, I didn't understand how it is possible that there is no buggy shuttle to go to the villas at the bottom. If I had crutches or wheelchairs, I couldn't move. It was almost 40 degrees and we had to walk in the sun. It was impossible to use the swimming pool near the villa for 1000 of bees. And no one even cared. Because we also had children. Anyway, I'm not coming back anymore

The food was delicious and just kept coming out with course after course of delicious and beautiful things. We returned back a second time for another dinner on another night because the whole experience was so lovely.
