15/12/2025: It was a magical and intimate evening. Fate granted us the chance to book the last available table for two. There was no special occasion to celebrate, but it quickly became one thanks to the fabulous service and dishes. All the combinations were perfect; we had a couple of appetizers, two first courses, and then two desserts. We were served a small entrée to begin with, which already hinted at the beginning of a journey of precise and flavorful flavors, without too much hesitation. We paired it all with an excellent Montefalco red, dessert with the Muffato wine from the dining room, and to finish, a good barrique grappa. Excellent value for money. The only downside was the truffle, which we weren't particularly thrilled with, but it's still definitely 5 stars. It's a formal, yet warm and welcoming place where I hope to return soon. 😊

The pizza is truly excellent, easy to digest, and the service is fast and friendly. Even though it's 20 km from where I live, we'll be back soon. Until next time. 28/12/2025: Pleasant return Christmas lunch, a pleasant location, well-decorated with attention to detail, comfortable chairs, and just the right amount of space at the carefully set table. The menu included a delicious appetizer of broccoli flan on pumpkin cream, a potato wafer and a slice of Prato mortadella, a brioche bread with liver pâté and delicious Vin Santo, two first courses: a radicchio risotto with Parmesan cream, an excellent combination, paccheri with flavorful sausage ragù, a delicious guinea fowl breast stuffed with artichokes on a bed of fennel cream, and a wine-braised beef, my least favorite of the lunch, all accompanied by Montepulciano red wine. To finish, a Bavarian coffee dessert, with coffee, a wafer, and delicious blueberry ice cream, Moscato, and coffee. The service was excellent, with the owner being very kind and attentive.

05/01/2026: While passing through Sansepolcro, we noticed this crowded restaurant and booked dinner for the following day. The welcome was very courteous and friendly, the place was packed with tables, and there was an outdoor veranda enclosed by glass windows, which was also a bit narrow, making it difficult to move around when it was packed. We ordered the mixed antipasto with local cured meats and crostini, and two first courses, including the very flavorful and delicate tagliolini with truffle, and the very tender tagliata with porcini mushrooms, well-seasoned with plenty of mushrooms. Everything was very good, and the prices were reasonable.

09/12/2025: My fiancée and I chose Il Giardino di Piero for an impromptu dinner, arriving just before closing time (9:30 PM), but we were nevertheless greeted with great kindness and hospitality. The interior is truly refined, with attention to detail and an elegant atmosphere. The historic sideboard on display is also very charming, with antique dishes that speak to centuries of history and tradition. The bathroom was clean and tidy, another plus. We ordered a beef tagliata with potatoes and a grilled meat, both accompanied by excellent baked potatoes: tender and flavorful, perfectly cooked, and generous portions. An added bonus is definitely the staff: professional, attentive, and able to speak several languages ​​(Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, and Russian), making this place particularly welcoming, even for foreign visitors. In conclusion: excellent food, a classy atmosphere, and impeccable service. Highly recommended!

14/01/2026: Fantastic meal in the historic heart of Loro Ciuffenna. On a pedestrian street, upstairs inside the quaint tower in the centre of town. Warm and cosy with windows overlooking the tower and river below. Locally sourced and seasonal produce, curated in every detail. The chef was wonderful, however we felt his father managing the dining room could be warmer in his approach to clientele. We would come back regularly to this gem.

07/01/2026: I live in Loro and have been coming to La Torre for years. For the atmosphere, the delicious food, and most recently—since yesterday—for the waitress, whom I already knew from previous restaurants, who has proven to be a valuable addition with her kindness and hospitality. The food is always delicious and tasty; I have a sensitive stomach, but in years and years, I've never had any digestive issues. The service is pleasantly slow, and you never feel like you have to get up and leave. The space itself is small and super welcoming. Keep it up, please!
