09/06/2026: By far the best seafood we ate during our stay in Italy and throughout Tuscany. Everything was incredibly fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. It's clear the cuisine is based on high-quality ingredients and attention to detail.
The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere made you want to linger. If you're looking for truly exceptional seafood, this is definitely worth a visit.
One of those restaurants that you'll remember for a long time and want to return to again and again.

03/06/2026: The restaurant is spacious and welcoming. The staff is courteous, efficient, and ensures quick service, despite the large number of customers. We ate very well... the salad with walnuts, pine nuts, and truffle was particularly interesting.
The quality/price ratio is excellent.

24/06/2026: We have a house nearby and have been here several times. The owners are incredibly kind and the food is spectacular. The view is beautiful and it creates a truly authentic, slightly touristy atmosphere that even locals appreciate from time to time. You almost feel like you're on vacation. They are attentive to every request; we had a guest with celiac disease and they were truly available to make the experience magical for him too. They welcome dogs and are very accommodating with special requests, such as cooking the same Florentine steak twice (we had two people with different cooking preferences). Despite the difficulty, they were incredibly kind. We'll be back a thousand times because the food is spectacular.

17/06/2026: They have put together the best staff at Il Falconiere. From start to finish no matter what we were up to, they were professional, sweet, & accommodating. We got eloped here and we have to give Claudia a special shoutout because she is special but literally every employee is special. As is the rooms, the property, and the cooking class.

19/05/2026: The hidden gem! This place is amazing. My food was excellent, crispy bread with liver and truffles as a starter was outstanding, Michelin star level. Pasta plate was very good, but not exceptional (that may be determined by my choice) and desert tiramisu was great. Good espresso closed the deal. Service was great.
18/05/2026: Cortona Bistrot is undoubtedly one of those places that surprises and delights. Everything we tried was delicious, but I must give a special and obligatory mention to their egg dish with pecorino and truffle. It's served by the owner, with his wife in the kitchen, and the service is exceptionally friendly.

The food is always excellent: the pork shank with potatoes is amazing, the beer is excellent, and the appetizers and pizza are also excellent!
The owner is kind, welcoming, and always available.
For me, it's truly the best in Casentino.

29/04/2026: Deliciously executed food with great professional service. Went in on a Sunday lunch without a reservation and was able to grab a table. Possible that the fried calamari and prawns could have been enhanced with a citrus aioli to cut through the fried food but nevertheless was great.

26/04/2026: This place is a bit off the beaten path for tourists (like me) in these areas, but if you know how to select restaurants carefully, you'll definitely find it.
If I lived in the area, I'd add it to my favorite restaurants for the following reasons:
1) Beautiful setting (including an outdoor terrace) with a panoramic view of the valley (see photo).
2) Truly delicious dishes, plated in an original and visually striking way.
For example, we had a radicchio risotto (delicious), which was served "in the mold" with a cheese fondue on top. The photo (see) says it all better than words.
I'll conclude by pointing out that it's not true that the restaurant is expensive.
24/03/2026: The enchanting atmosphere of the Tuscan hills and the intimate, refined setting allow you to fully relax and enjoy cuisine based on solid traditional foundations, technically impeccable, and authentic flavors. Attentive and friendly service is provided. In the warmer months, dinner on the terrace offers a breathtaking view.

05/06/2026: If you're looking for authentic Tuscany, this is the place. The restaurant is fantastic, nestled in the countryside: the view is breathtaking as soon as you arrive. The welcome is superb, the staff are friendly and passionate. And the food... amazing dishes, simple yet perfect. You can tell there's a love for the area behind it. An experience that feels like home.

14/02/2026: A truly warm and welcoming place. Very kind and polite service. After a reasonable wait of 15-20 minutes, we ate excellent Peruvian food. After the obligatory mopping up of the plates, we left our plates practically clean π. Generous portions and excellent prices. Highly recommended! Compliments to all the staff.
