The pizza is truly excellent, easy to digest, and the service is fast and friendly. Even though it's 20 km from where I live, we'll be back soon. Until next time. 05/01/2026: While passing through Sansepolcro, we noticed this crowded restaurant and booked dinner for the following day. The welcome was very courteous and friendly, the place was packed with tables, and there was an outdoor veranda enclosed by glass windows, which was also a bit narrow, making it difficult to move around when it was packed. We ordered the mixed antipasto with local cured meats and crostini, and two first courses, including the very flavorful and delicate tagliolini with truffle, and the very tender tagliata with porcini mushrooms, well-seasoned with plenty of mushrooms. Everything was very good, and the prices were reasonable.

16/01/2026: Worth it! The dishes are beautiful, we especially loved the grilled octopus with mashed potatoes. Warm, cozy environment and friendly staff. The pistachio tiramisu was my favourite, it was the perfect way to end our lunch. Grazie mille!

28/12/2025: Pleasant return Christmas lunch, a pleasant location, well-decorated with attention to detail, comfortable chairs, and just the right amount of space at the carefully set table. The menu included a delicious appetizer of broccoli flan on pumpkin cream, a potato wafer and a slice of Prato mortadella, a brioche bread with liver pâté and delicious Vin Santo, two first courses: a radicchio risotto with Parmesan cream, an excellent combination, paccheri with flavorful sausage ragù, a delicious guinea fowl breast stuffed with artichokes on a bed of fennel cream, and a wine-braised beef, my least favorite of the lunch, all accompanied by Montepulciano red wine. To finish, a Bavarian coffee dessert, with coffee, a wafer, and delicious blueberry ice cream, Moscato, and coffee. The service was excellent, with the owner being very kind and attentive.

21/09/2025: Spent 10 days in italy traveling north and south. Went to restaurant after restaurant, all better than the next. Then we found Osteria L'Orciaia, walking in felt like being invited into someones home. Its family run and quite literally the best of all our dining experiences. The family couldnt be more hospitable and the food couldnt have been better. Its the only location we had a meal at twice. When im back in italy, no matter where i land; i will travel here. An absolute 10/10, if you want a true italian experience you found it.

16/12/2025: A "rustic" place, with truly attentive and friendly service. I really liked the menu, written on several sheets of paper taped to a structure at the entrance. The pici all'aglione were delicious, and the meat was good quality. I can't comment on the price because I was offered the meal.

06/12/2025: The food was excellent. I had a very generous and delicious traditional appetizer, including a divine fillet with mushrooms and lard. I'll definitely be back. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

08/02/2026: We came for dinner here during a weekend in Tuscany on the recommendation of the owner of the property where we're staying. And we were right to take her advice! The Osteria is charming, elegant, and quiet, and the dishes are equally amazing. I don't usually take photos of the dishes; I was with my family and thoroughly enjoyed the evening, so take my word for it, it was one of the best cuts of beef I've ever tasted. The tripe was excellent! The ingredients were of the highest quality, and carefully crafted. The service was impeccable; I felt pampered! For anyone visiting Sansepolcro, this is a must-visit, and we'll definitely be back. A little note for those who are questioning the prices: this isn't a pizzeria... I assure you, the quality is evident in the food, and the price is absolutely reasonable.
