10/07/2026: I don't usually write reviews, but after dinner at Opera Viva, I have to: the fregola we had was excellent; the grilled vegetables were great too, and the tiramisu was absolutely wonderful. It had been a long time since a meal had made me so happy. This place, seemingly unassuming and without any frills, but with top-notch cuisine, will stay with me forever.
08/07/2026: This place is a true Sardininian gem. Beautiful fresh fish, great local fresh pasta, and attentive service. One of the best restaurants I've been to in all of Italy in months of travelling.

Pizzeria Griglieria le Tonnare

18/07/2026: We had an excellent experience at II Portico Ristorante Pizzeria.
We booked online, which was especially convenient as only a few of the restaurants we looked at in Sardinia offered online reservations. The communication was also excellent: our reservation was confirmed through WhatsApp, and then confirmed again on the day of our booking at 5 pm. We really appreciated that level of clarity and communication.
The food was excellent, and all four of us were very happy with our meals, including our two children. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive, making sure that our orders were taken accurately. Everyone we interacted with also spoke English, which made the experience very easy and comfortable for non Italian speakers.
The food, service and location were all excellent. We would happily return and would absolutely recommend II Portico Ristorante Pizzeria to others visiting the area.
11/07/2026: It's been a while since I've been crazy about a bowl of mussels and clams. The taste and ingredients were exceptional, and then I continued with a perfect fried calamari... My compliments for everything: service, location, and chef. Highly recommended.

13/07/2026: A disappointing experience, to say the least, both for the quality of the staff (two ladies as friendly as a finger in the eye), but also for the food served: terrible both in quality and presentation. I ordered a first course of ravioli with tomato sauce (and stopped there because of the unpleasant flavor), while my wife ordered a lemon veal scallops (unsightly) with a side of zucchini (sliced very thickly and undercooked). It's a shame, because the setting is not bad and, more importantly, it has a splendid view.

15/07/2026: A well-equipped and comfortable beach resort in Stintino, with comfortable loungers with mattresses.
We also had lunch there, but it was an experience not to be repeated. In fact, the spaghetti with clams we ordered was drowned in parsley and had no flavor whatsoever: avoid it (also due to the high price)!
The pizzas we saw served at other tables were definitely more inviting.

We came to this restaurant because my girlfriend wanted to have dinner, while I only wanted to order a cocktail. Instead of being welcomed, we were told to leave because “this is a restaurant.”
We never even had the chance to try the food because we were kicked out before we could order anything. I’ve honestly never experienced anything like this before. It’s hard to understand why customers are treated so rudely when one person wants to eat and the other simply wants a drink.
Very unprofessional and incredibly disrespectful service. Based on this experience, I definitely cannot recommend this place.

I do not recommend this restaurant. It seems to care only about making money. I have never been treated like this anywhere else in Italy.
I wanted to order sushi, but unfortunately my boyfriend doesn’t like it. When I asked if they could prepare it for just one person, I was told that the minimum was two people. Then we were asked to leave, even though I wanted to order something else from the menu.

03/08/2025: La semplicità paga sempre. Non per forza serve un super impiattamento per colpire ma il gusto e la qualità vincono sempre. Antipasto di mare, primo di tonno, spada. Tutto buonissimo!!!
02/08/2025: Serata trascorsa in famiglia di venerdì sera in un ottima atmosfera. Servizio eccellente, precisi e molto gentili. Antipasti e Primi molto abbondanti e gustosi. Antipasto sardo nella norma, molto buono invece l'antipasto di mare. Molto consigliata la fregola ai frutti di mare, gustosa ed abbondante. Ottimi anche i tagliolini al tonno. Meglio prenotare, in estate può essere affollata. Consigliatissimo.
