02/10/2025: The restaurant presents itself with great ambitions, but the reality failed to live up to expectations, due to a completely unsustainable quality-price ratio.
The cuisine, rather than surprising, left an impression of being small and uninspiring, with offerings that are unjustified by such an ambitious menu.
The service, polite and attentive, remains the best aspect, even if not impeccable.
In the end, one is left with the feeling of having paid for the idea rather than the substance.

15/10/2025: The spaghetti carbonara was unappealing, the pizza was overly soft and possibly undercooked, and the chips were soggy. Additionally, we were charged a €2.50 supplement for four people, despite only three being served food.
10/10/2025: The food is disgusting, the service is terrible, the toilet is like at a train station.

25/07/2025: Definitely and absolutely the best food we had in the whole Sardinia! Tasty, simple but elevated, fresh and great for the price you’re paying. The waiters are warm, nice and the atmosphere is great. We compared it to Italian workers food - in the best way possible. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! A MUST GO IN LA MADDALENA!
25/07/2025: Restauracja serwuje wyborne regionalne jedzenie. Smak makaronu z owocami morza pozostanie ze mną na długo i myślę że ciężko będzie zjeść coś równie smacznego. Zdecydowanie polecam to miejsce!

28/10/2025: Nice place for a coffee or breakfast before heading home, as was our case. But a real rip-off: €19 for two coffees, two croissants, and one orange juice... and with a very questionable level of service. What a shame.
20/10/2025: On the first day of arrival and the day of departure, we treated ourselves to a pizza. It was so delicious, as was the panini. The wait was worth it. Takeout is also available.

06/03/2025: We booked through The Fork to try it out, and we've been back often. Everything was perfect, and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
25/02/2025: The pizza kept me up all night, probably because of some sub-par ingredients or the dough didn't rise properly.
We'll try the restaurant next time, hoping it's better.

07/08/2024: Reluctantly and with great anger, I would like to inform you and point out that my new car has been vandalized; dent and scratch on the left rear door, dent above the left rear wheel arch, scratch on the left rear rim, scratch on the left rear-view mirror,
left side front bumper deface.
For these reasons negative review.
Since my stay will end on August 9th let's see what else will happen to my car…..😤🤬

26/09/2025: First of all he gave us 2 different panini from the ones we ordered, the price was very high and the panini were nothing special.
The service was one of the worst I’ve experienced in any restaurant, very rude and impolite telling us to get far away from the counter. Although the atmosphere was quite nice and of course the view of the beach was spectacular.
21/08/2025: As hotel guests (2 people for 10 days), we paid over €4,080 – and were still charged €80 PER DAY for 2 sun loungers and 1 parasol at the Ollastu Beach Lounge. Absolutely outrageous and feels like a rip-off!
One particularly negative aspect was an older gentleman with curly hair (the bar owner) who enforced these prices. His behavior was unfriendly, rude, and unprofessional, which obviously caused a lot of frustration for us and other guests. We went there once and never again! The showers also only work sporadically.
I ate an overpriced toast there, which was sparse.
Conclusion: Once and never again – they're definitely losing a lot of customers here.

29/07/2025: Sortie en famille pour dîner, réservation 21h00 avec the fork, arrivée a 20h45, acceuil moyen ( pas de résa a notre nom, malgres la confirmation the fork), jolie table en terrasse avec couché de soleil..... Et voilà! On a fait le tour.
2 margarita pour les enfants, 2 entrées pour nous ( polpettine di tonno) , et le reste de notre commande oublié dans les abîmes de la cuisine...
On interpelle la serveuse après 35 minutes d'attente ( on sait dit c'est normal, ils servent d'abord les habitués, nos enfants on reçu leurs pizza, ça va, on est en vacances) , elle nous dit que son collègue arrive avec les plats et..... Revient nous demande ce qu'on a pris !!!!! . En fait elle a oublié de réclamer la suite, où elle a oublié de commander notre plat, ou .... Ou ,ou, ou c'est pas de chance.
Du coup je lui dit qu'on aimerait l'addition, elle s'excuse, nous ramène l'addition, nous invite a payer au comptoir et pour parfaire le tableau, aucuns gestes commercial, sachant que le tarifs des couverts est exorbitant ( 14€ pour 4), et qu'on a la dalle!. Je fais remarquer cela au responsable de salle qui s'excuse tout en nous disant qu'il ne nous a pas compté les plats..... Qu'on a pas reçu...., bref , on oublie, on passe a autre choses, mais avant on conseil aux autres personnes qui liront ce commentaire d'aller voir ailleurs.
26/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato al ristorante Il Geranio e l’esperienza è stata davvero piacevole. Il soutè di cozze e vongole era fresco e saporito, gli spaghetti alle vongole perfetti come mantecatura, e il fritto misto mediterraneo croccante e ben bilanciato.
Il personale ci ha conquistato con simpatia e professionalità: camerieri sorridenti, attenti e sempre disponibili. A suggellare la serata, un digestivo alla menta offerto con dolcezza: un gesto semplice che ha reso tutto più speciale.
I prezzi risultano coerenti con la qualità e il contesto, con un ottimo rapporto qualità‑prezzo nonostante alcuni possano sentirli superiori alle medie locali, ma decisamente giustificati dalla qualità del cibo, del servizio e della location.
Consigliato a chi cerca una cena di pesce raffinata, ben servita e con quel tocco in più di simpatia e cordiale accoglienza.
