08/12/2025: Unique. After making my baby's baptism special in 2023 by impressing our guests, my birthday was equally special, this time with catering. The food arrived hot and perfectly arranged. We thought we'd ordered too little, but the guests were thrilled because there was truly an incredible amount of food and variety. Highly recommended. Infinite thanks to the owner, Antonio.

The dinner was sublime, starting with the appetizers, a treat for the palate, and continuing with the delicate yet persistent first course. The second courses were an explosion of flavors, both the lamb and the cooked veal. The inevitable dessert was a must... In short, you have to try it to understand. 09/12/2025: The location is very unique. The aperitif was served in a former quarry dug into the ground and later covered with a barrel vault. Dinner took place in the cellar, where enormous oak barrels, each holding 6-8,000 liters, are stored. The simple yet refined dinner was appropriate for the unique setting.

20/02/2026: I appreciated that, despite the low season, they chose to stay open on weekends. We took advantage of the stay + spa package. A wonderful experience! The masseria is in a strategic location, surrounded by nature, and tastefully furnished. Comfort and pampering guaranteed! The wellness area is top-notch, the rooms are beautiful, with comfortable beds, a spacious bathroom, and a very welcoming breakfast room with a large fireplace. We didn't use the restaurant, but the feedback from friends who did is overwhelmingly positive. Special mention goes to the reception staff: helpful, welcoming, and smiling, they were always ready to accommodate our every request. We'll definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

15/02/2026: An unforgettable Valentine's Day between sea and sweetness! We chose Diavolicchio Goloso for our Valentine's Day dinner, and we couldn't have made a better choice. It was a sensory experience that celebrated love through the authentic flavors of our land, reinterpreted with exquisite class. Dinner began with a selection of disarmingly fresh crudités: oysters and seafood that literally smelled of the sea. The mixed fried fish was a real surprise: light, crispy, and not at all greasy, enhancing the sweetness of the shrimp and the delicacy of the calamari. Also worthy of note are the gratin dishes such as bombette and the cuttlefish steak with chicory, and the creative presentations, where every drop of chlorophyll and flavored oil on the plate was not just decorative, but an explosion of flavor. The dried fig and aged cheese interlude was a unique and much-appreciated highlight: a classic pairing, yet served with an elegance that elevated its simplicity. The conclusion was pure poetry. The tiramisu, creamy and generous with cocoa, won us over from the first spoonful. The small pastries were also delicious and romantic, with those hand-decorated heart-shaped cookies and pralines that perfectly complemented the meal. The atmosphere was intimate and refined. The cuisine features excellent ingredients and the chef's impeccable craftsmanship. Attentive, yet unobtrusive, service. A heartfelt thanks to the entire Diavolicchio Goloso staff for making this evening so special. We will definitely be back to indulge in your delicacies again!

I recommend a stove with a fire; it would add a touch of warmth and make the space more welcoming. In the bathroom, turning on the existing radiator would be enough.

A relaxed atmosphere and attentive, smiling service, even accommodating requests for variations, like my amazing spaghetti with mussels in white sauce, with just 3 or 4 cherry tomatoes... exceptional! 😍 Thanks to all the staff, I'll take home so much pleasure!

I'm back to this welcoming restaurant in the historic center of Lecce, under Porta San Biagio. The food is high-quality and well-prepared. The table service is also excellent, courtesy and empathy from Alessio and Francesco. Andrea's warm welcome was professional, courteous, and kind. The quality/price ratio is truly excellent. A must-try if you're in Lecce. Compliments, highly recommended.

18/01/2026: Disappointing! I hadn't been to this restaurant in a while. Unfortunately, the menu and the dishes were disappointing. The Blunotte linguine with stracciatella and shrimp tartare had a predominantly buttery flavor, and the fried ingredients were not crispy and had a strong oily taste. We asked for a change of pasta (fresh tagliolini) but were denied as it was unavailable. The desserts weren't satisfying either... The location appears dim and cramped. Our table was wedged into a recess with the chairs literally attached to those of the next table, making it cramped and suffocating. Courtesy of the staff. Needs improvement...

25/09/2025: It's truly a quiet place, excellent home cooking with ingredients just like home, generous portions, impeccable service. The appetizer menu is varied, and the fried fish is excellent. Compliments to the chef; I'll definitely be back next summer.

01/01/2026: I checked the TripAdvisor reviews before booking. 99% were positive. Out of curiosity, I looked at the 1% with negative reviews. The user review "Parisian chef with bossy wife," a true script for an episode of an Italian comedy, convinced me to book. At lunchtime, I introduced myself as a friend of the "Parisian chef." The manager, described by the Parisian chef's wife as "aggressive, misogynistic, and lacking in charm and elegance," and we laughed about the incident. We ate very well, spent the right amount, and returned the next day to try other dishes. You can't stroll through the heart of Lecce's historic center and not stop at Locanda del Ballerino. The origin of its name is already a story worth telling. If you decide to go, introduce yourself as a friend of the "Parisian chef with bossy wife." 😉😂
