The waiter is extremely friendly and easy-going, the real added value of the place.
We had a good time and they are extremely attentive to celiac disease, this makes it a pleasant rarity in the province.
Well done!
12/06/2025: Came here with my family during our vacation and it was amazing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was fantastic! I highly recommend coming here.

16/06/2025: Great food and very friendly and attentive service. Every dish is visually and tastefully exquisite, and the portions are generous. All allergens are clearly indicated, and there are numerous gluten-free dishes. Highly recommended.
14/06/2025: We visited this lovely restaurant as a group of 7, from the UK in June 2025 and The garden setting with the vine covered pergola was really well crafted.
Everyone from our group thoroughly enjoyed their main courses and deserts. The lovely attentive lady at the front of house was faultless , no request was ever a problem.
I don’t write many reviews but after the quality of the food, compliments to the kitchen staff and of the service we received I felt this independent restaurant truly deserved my time and my review. You will not be disappointed.

Everything was immaculately maintained, including the restrooms. The quality of the food and drinks exceeded our expectations. The service was friendly, competent, and attentive. As a vegetarian, I would have preferred a bit more choice. The selection of good wines was all the more extensive.
30/06/2025: Good, down-to-earth food. The food arrived quickly! Not exactly optimal value for money considering the quantity of the "main courses." Still, the location is quiet, away from the hustle and bustle.
But: slow service and not customer-oriented. A big no-go: There's no drinks menu. You have to drag everything out of the server.

21/06/2025: The food was amazing! Unfortunately we had the worst table and it was basically used as a service table. The empty plates and the bottles of all the other tables were constantly put on our table, while the other tables were served. So we had half eaten seafood plates on our table while we ate our courses.. delicious food, but when i pay 500 Euros for 2 people i expect something better.
28/05/2025: Recommended and not to be missed. Excellent food and service, good wine list. Veranda on the lake that alone is worth the trip

She personally made herself available to best organize a large dinner with attention to the little birthday girl. Congratulations because finding hospitality like this is not for everyone.

24/06/2025: Great place, we went there twice! It's the place where we ate the best on Lake Maggiore. The service is a little slow but it's worth it! I recommend the calamatas with squid ink and the key lime pie!

22/06/2025: Had lunch for work, good value for money, good shrimp and courgette risotto and good trout. Fixed menu 12 euros with water and coffee, friendly and fast service.
The room is a bit warm especially near the pizza oven, perhaps a bit more air conditioning would be ideal.
Huge and convenient parking in the square. Recommended if you are in the area.

02/06/2025: The menu is quite extensive and they do pizza. The service is excellent. Unfortunately, the pizza is not. I think the pizza chef is learning. Ours was quite toasty and dry. It seemed to be the same at other tables too. The first courses, on the other hand, are plentiful and at tavern prices. They have a local clientele and I think they are a point of reference in the area.

18/06/2025: la danse des papilles, la gastronomie italienne à portée de bourse. nous nous sommes régalés durant une semaine. dans une ambiance sympa au bord d’un petit port et à l’ombre des magnolias. Servi aimable sympathique ce qui ajoute au plaisir. nous reviendrons. merci
06/06/2025: Wir waren gleich zweimal hier, so gut hat es uns gefallen. Vorgestern am Mittag, heute zum Abendessen. Vom Empfang über den Service bis zur Küche war alles perfekt. Die Küche besticht mit Liebe zum Detail, die Speisen sind geschmacklich gut abgestimmt und diskret gewürzt. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich.
Vorgestern hatten wir beide den exotischen Salat mit Gamberi. Danach hatte ich die Spaghetti alla Chitarra und meine Frau den Branzino. Heute hatten wir als Vorspeise die Parmigiana di Melanzane. Danach Gnocchi und nochmals den Branzino. Die Portionen sind genau richtig, damit auch ein Dessert Platz hat, ein Panna Cotta und ein Tiramisu. Beim nächsten Besuch am Lago Maggiore steht dieses Restaurant wieder auf unserer Liste.

Terrible food: low quality ingredients and meager portions.
20/06/2025: We were looking for a table for four people and initially asked a waiter if there was anything available. The waiter said he would look into it, but then walked past us several times without a word. After a short while, we were finally able to get a table inside. Several waiters then took care of us, all of whom seemed very hectic. We didn't feel welcome. Our two appetizers, which the four of us shared, arrived very quickly but weren't particularly lovingly prepared. There were no side plates for bread or salad, so we had to eat on the tablecloth. The bread was quite dry, and the Caprese wasn't anything special. We then had to wait at least half an hour for our pizzas, with the waiters constantly walking by without a chance to speak to them or ask for another drink or how the food was. The pizzas were good: very good crust, but nothing special. The table next to us also had to wait a long time for their food.
There are certainly better ways to spend a pleasant evening with delicious food.

14/07/2025: Maden var lokal, lækkert, frisk. Smagte super dejligt.
Vi var de eneste med børn, men det fungerede meget fint alligevel.
Fik lov til at bestille en børne-pasta, selvom der ikke var børne-retter på kortet.

08/07/2025: Das Essen war hervorragend. Ich hatte ein Rindertatar als Vorspeise. Mein Mann wählte keine. Aber sie brachten unaufgefordert 2 Teller und stellten die Vorspeise in die Mitte. Das war sehr aufmerksam. Das Rindertatar war hervorragend. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, jemals ein so perfektes Tatar gegessen zu haben. Engagiert abgeschmeckt und mit karamellisiert Zwiebeln, Kapern und gerüsteten Mandeln war es einfach hervorragend! Auch der Hauptgang, ich hatte Pasta mit Muscheln, war nicht nur mit seiner sanften Schärfe köstlich, sondern auch wirklich so abgeschmeckt, dass es kein Nachwürzen bedarf.
Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, auch wenn der Service bis auf eine Ausnahme sehr steif war. Das Essen sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Es ist wunderbare italienische Küche!
