29/06/2025: Always a magnificent restaurant, even more so with the new furnishings. The outdoor seating in the courtyard is perfect for summer evenings. Very kind and helpful staff. Varied and detailed menu, offers products for all palates. Well-curated dishes, made with excellent quality products. Highly recommended!

Cucina del territorio (Lago e Monti) nella media, senza particolare carattere!
05/06/2025: Nice restaurant on Lake Maggiore. Lots of tables inside. The tables on the verandas are charming with a nice view of the lake. The furniture is a bit dated but spacious.
Food cooked very well, with lake fish dishes. Not abundant dishes. Small parking lot.

24/06/2025: We celebrated our wedding in this wonderful place on Lake Orta, and we can only say beautiful words about that perfect day. Enchanting and suggestive place, impeccable service, superlative food. There was not a detail that was not taken care of to perfection.
We thank Il Giardinetto infinitely for making our wedding unique, and we recommend it wholeheartedly.
I would add that we have attended it on other occasions, both for our son's baptism, and for dinner and aperitif and we can only confirm the same satisfaction every time.

15/04/2025: I came across this restaurant during my lunch break. The waitress listed the first dishes of the day and consequently I decided to have the "carbonara". The dish I was served was raw ham with cream/eggs. I understand that in a midday menu I shouldn't expect anything sensational but calling a similar dish "carbonara" in 2025 is shameful. Please let's call things by the correct name "cream and raw ham"

09/06/2025: We were delighted to have come to this restaurant, recommended by Le ROUTARD.
You have to look for it; it's in a small alleyway off Piazza Ragazzoni, but it's worth the effort.
We chose typical Italian specialties, and it's a real treat for the taste buds.
Taglionni and a risotto with subtle flavors.
And to finish, a revisited tiramisu, captivatingly light and refined.
All this with impeccable service, very classy, respectful, and attentive.
We recommend it without reservation.
If you're looking for a good restaurant, away from the tourist hustle and bustle, this is the place to go.

19/06/2025: 3 days in Northern Italy Italian Lakes! We had the absolute best service from Lucia a young lady getting ready to graduate from the university! She was helpful in us choosing our wine selection, as well as food choices. She was always ready to fill our wine glasses. Extremely attentive and friendly. The food is amazing! Perch raviolis, Spaghetti with clams & mussels, started with a shared vegetable crudities with a raspberry vinaigrette and the best Tiramisu for dessert!

05/05/2025: We have been several times and have always had a good time... last time, just before Easter, I would just make a note on the service. Surely the waitress with the glasses was a little distracted and in addition to insisting that the wine we ordered was the right one and addressing us as if we were long-time friends, she concluded with all the chips spilled on the table. Maybe it was a 'bad' day, but fortunately we continued lunch with another waitress without any problems... Extra care needed to be taken in the innermost room. However, I ate well as always. Well done in the kitchen!

At Ristorante San Giulio you eat well, with dishes that are refined but never pretentious, such as the fresh pasta with lake fish: tasty, well-balanced and cooked to perfection. The staff is welcoming and attentive, without ever being intrusive. All in an enchanting location, overlooking the calm waters of Lake Orta. Perfect for a family lunch dedicated to relaxation and good food.

Internamente il ristorante è rustico , pulito ed in ordine.
I piatti ordinati sono curati, buoni ed abbondanti. Sia chiaro che il tutto si paga.
Unico piccolo neo in questa immagine idilliaca qualche mozzicone sparso qua e là nel prato di proprietà. Dimenticavo....personale di una cortesia eccezionale!
