16/12/2024: Dining in this restaurant was a truly pleasant experience, perfect for celebrating a very important occasion for us. Excellent traditional cuisine in a refined and welcoming environment.
The appetizer from the countryside was very good, the platter was of high quality, the paccheri with artichokes, pecorino and bacon and the orange tiramisu were highly appreciated by all.
All the staff perfect.
Fabrizio is attentive and helpful and, not to be taken for granted, also friendly.

17/11/2024: The simple and spartan tavern we were looking for. Relaxed atmosphere, friendliness and professionalism, good food, reasonable prices. I suggest expanding the menu with traditional local dishes.
14/10/2024: The place is nice and the food is good. The cold cuts on the platter were of high quality (raw ham cut in the room and with a knife) and the omelette with truffles was also good. The first courses were really well cooked and tasty. Personally I didn't appreciate the lime zest and nice tagliolini with cheese and pepper but, I repeat, it's just a personal taste. The choice of wines is also good. The only flaw... the service... really too slow, considering that on Thursday evening there was only our table with 10 people. Too much waiting time for the starter and then between the first and second courses. If the wait was shorter you could certainly taste a few seconds too.

10/11/2024: Tornata a distanza di qualche mese ho trovato sempre prodotti buoni e freschi servizio cortese e come tempistiche giusto,non assegno le 4 stelle perché la cheesecake purtroppo non era freschissima!comunque resta un ristorante valido e di buon livello consigliato!

01/01/2025: We went to dinner on December 31st. The food was good, but unfortunately everything else was disappointing. Meager dishes, from appetizer to dessert. The first courses were served directly on the plate, the second courses were miserable in the center of the table, but the desserts were even worse: they made at least 8 small squares out of a slice of tart and placed them in the center of the table. They took our plates away while we were still eating, I found myself eating the fried potatoes with my hands. For a person who didn't eat meat they said they would give him a cheese plate, but they brought back the ricotta for the appetizer. All very quickly to arrive at 11.20pm with a completely cleared table and a glass ready waiting for midnight. Everything was too fast and this also explains the cotechino and lentils in the appetizer instead of after midnight as per tradition.
18/12/2024: Esperienza da non ripetere...il peggior ristorante dei castelli , cibo di qualità medio bassa, servizio lento, location non male e prezzi sproporzionati ...3 antipasti 3 piatti di pasta 2 contorni e una bottiglia di vino satrico che al supermercato sta sugli 8 euri 3 caffè e 3 amari conto di 280 euro, menù inesistente i piatti vengono annunciati dai camerieri e dal proprietario , cibo di scarsa qualità e insipido veramente una delusione totale non torneremo mai più e sconsiglierò a chiunque questo posto con i stessi soldi ci mangiamo in 4 in un ristoranti migliori , non vi fate abbindolare non andate consiglio .

01/12/2024: Today to celebrate our birthdays we thought about returning to Valerio's restaurant and like the previous times we were NOT disappointed at all. The place is
quaint, cute, it feels like being in a fortress. Followed and pampered by the waiter Stefano, the food, what can I say, the pappardelle with venison exceptional, the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms excellent... with porcini mushrooms, the second courses also excellent and everything plentiful as well as the desserts.
To be repeated
25/11/2024: Very good restaurant also with dishes that go beyond the typical Roman ones.
