24/05/2026: Very slow service—you even had to wait for the menu, even though the place wasn't terribly busy. We ordered a fillet and two tagliata, and the cuts of meat weren't the best we'd ever eaten. Regarding the setting, even though it's located in the center of Ferentino, the acoustics in the room didn't make for a pleasant experience. The prices were high for the quality and flavor of the food. Very disappointed.

20/05/2026: A very welcoming place. The owner is incredibly polite and friendly. The dishes exude all the authenticity of a place that has been passed down through generations. All at more than fair prices.

21/07/2026: I'm surprised I have to leave only a three-star review, given the rave reviews this restaurant has received. The calzones and pizza may be good, but I had a very dry focaccia; after a few minutes, it became inedible, both because of the dough and the lack of toppings. The appetizer wasn't at all generous, considering the prices (though the sautéed chicory was really good). I had a semifreddo for dessert—kudos to them for making all the desserts in-house, but the semifreddo was cloyingly sweet and honestly nothing memorable. I found the prices quite high. The service was quick and courteous.

01/07/2026: I ordered takeout for the first time, two entrees and drinks. The price was fair considering the quality of the ingredients: fresh fish and excellent quality meat. Fair? Poorly cooked, or at least the seafood was really watery, and the pasta generally didn't hold together, but overall, considering the quality of the ingredients, it was good.

12/08/2026: We'd heard a lot about this place and finally decided to try it. From the moment we entered, we received a warm welcome; the entire staff was friendly and helpful from start to finish. I recommend trying the "heavenly" fondue with cheese and mushrooms, accompanied by crispy croutons. We then ordered two first courses: a plate of zazzere pasta with mushrooms and bacon, which was delicious, and a plate of amatriciana pasta, delicious, with those sweet yellow cherry tomatoes paired perfectly with the bacon. The location is quaint and unique, reminding me of a TV series called "Merlin," where the main character would hang out in a tavern. Very chilled. For us, it's DIESCI. SEE YOU NEXT TIME.

04/08/2026: Very beautiful and suggestive location, superlative food, prices adequate for the quality and quantity... I really appreciated the choice of having only local or Italian food and drinks (they don't have Fanta and Paccola but only Italian orangeade and Chinotto)... top!

The menu is extensive and caters to all tastes, with numerous seafood and meat options, as well as grilled and pizza options. I tried two truly delicious fish-based entrees, both prepared with fresh and well-cooked ingredients. Generous portions, balanced flavors, and meticulous presentation. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Definitely a place to return to and one I'd highly recommend.

09/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. The amatriciana was perfect. Just a delicious taste. Bread was excellent. Ragù was good and the tiramisu was great. Definitely a great lunch spot. And we will be coming back for dinner

29/03/2026: Looking at it from the outside, you wouldn't give it a cent, but as soon as you walk in, everything changes: from the appetizers to the super coffee. The staff is exceptionally courteous, even greeting you by calling you "puppy" on the way out 😂. A perfect mix of courtesy and quality. I fell in love with the contrast!

08/08/2026: There were five of us, we arrived and waited 20 minutes just to be seated. We ordered, and the food arrived 30 minutes later. They even came to ask what was missing. I understand the room being full, but half the people were already eating. The food and atmosphere were not bad. We had to wait another 15 minutes for dessert. Anyway, next time I'd go somewhere else.

07/08/2026: We often go to this pizzeria. The pizza is good, with options for celiacs. Both the inside and outside are beautiful. The staff is always very kind and friendly, they make you feel at home. Two negatives: - the wait is often long; - it would be nice to have alternatives to mozzarella for those who don't consume dairy.

The location is beautiful, with a large, well-kept and welcoming garden, but the interior is also pleasant, with beautifully set tables and attentive, friendly service. The appetizers and meat-based first courses are excellent. We haven't tried the fish or pizza, but we'll definitely be back very soon...

03/08/2026: I'd known Marcella for a long time and wanted to try the delicious dishes I'd seen in the photos... so we went there on Saturday evening. When we arrived, we were graciously welcomed and were enchanted by the atmosphere surrounding us... everything was perfectly planned. The dishes were each better than the last, with new and sophisticated flavors... everything was delicious... good value for money.

15/08/2026: Excellent food and a lot of passion. My only advice: watch your table! We spent a beautiful summer evening dining outside, just for two. The food is truly excellent: you can immediately sense the culture, tradition, and passion the owner, the chef, and the entire staff put into it. We opted for local cured meats, cheeses, and meats, all of the highest quality. The dishes were truly beautiful and plentiful, so much so that we regretfully missed a first course (maybe next time!). A little practical tip if you book outside: avoid getting a table near the wall, otherwise you'll find yourself spending the evening surrounded by midges. The price is absolutely fair and not excessive for the quality offered. We'll definitely be back!

09/08/2026: On vacation in Picinisco, a charming village on the Lazio side of the Abruzzo National Park, we dined with our family of five at this traditional trattoria in the center of town, with an outdoor table in the garden offering a beautiful view of the valley below. We were greeted warmly by the chef, who explained the dishes and wines served. The ingredients come from local producers, such as the truly delicious pasta with Atina beans, the appetizer with quality cured meats and cheeses, a delicate yet flavorful pasta with pesto and pecorino cheese, and quality lamb and steak. The side dishes and wine from a local winery were also excellent. The bill was fair, and it's worth considering that the cover charge, side dish, desserts, and liqueurs were each just one euro—a bargain for the quality of the ingredients. It was truly a high-class evening.
