18/02/2026: I visited Afro on Sundays at noon. Entering this restaurant is like taking a dive into the roots of Friuli. Everything here speaks of Friuli: the staff, the dishes served, and the atmosphere. Here, you can taste Coradazzi Prosciutto sliced ​​with a flywheel slicer, a cutting system that enhances the flavor of the prosciutto like no other. You can see the slicer in the main room, all red and shiny, proudly displayed.

The atmosphere is cheerful and informal, perfect for families, couples, or groups of friends. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I'm giving 3 stars only for the food, because it could be improved (some dishes, like the pizza, were a bit salty), but overall, it's still a nice place to spend a pleasant evening with a positive vibe. 🌟

05/02/2026: This excellent pizzeria in Aviano is truly a wonderful discovery. I'd never noticed it before, even though it's just a stone's throw from the center because it's somewhat hidden at the end of a side street. We had a truly delicious Salento pizza with excellent, fresh, and flavorful ingredients (Taggiasca olives and quality capers), and surprise... a plate of exquisite pizzoccheri, compliments to the chef. If there's anything to note, the two dishes we ordered were twenty minutes apart (it must be said that the place was very crowded, and I certainly don't think it's easy to coordinate the pizzeria and kitchen to bring out the dishes at the same time), which is a good thing... so we split both the pizza and the pizzoccheri. Reasonable prices, well done! Five stars, well deserved.

27/01/2026: It was a wonderful day with 10 young friends... Organized specifically to meet at the restaurant on Sunday for lunch, where we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a great time. We found exactly what we were looking for. Kudos to the owners, Signora Teodora's cuisine is a must-try... simple and traditional dishes, but full of passion and flavor. Signor Ferdinando is an experience not to be missed; he is the soul of the place, a sincere and kind person who makes you feel at home. It's fair to say that the place isn't for everyone... it certainly leaves no room for hypocrisy, but tells and brings to life a piece of history that has left its mark. Congratulations again and always onward!

My husband had the gnocchi with ragù and sausage with French fries, which were delicious. The portions are generous. If you're in the Pordenone area, go there because you'll leave satisfied and full. Perfect for lunches and dinners with friends and family.
