19/07/2026: Tonight, on my way back from Valvasone, the restaurant's Venetian-style exterior caught my attention. As usual, after a quick check of the reviews, I decided to try it with my parents. The location is well-kept and relaxing, very clean and tidy. The staff is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. The prices are more than fair—I'd even say lower than average. The ingredients are fresh and top-quality, the cooking technique and presentation impeccable. The value for money is top-notch, with an honorable mention. I've never eaten such a good creamed snapper. Congratulations to the owner, an honest restaurateur from another era, in a world that's falling apart. I'll definitely be back.

01/05/2026: A top location that we travel all the way to Sacile for. Once again, a truly wonderful culinary experience. The sea bass carp and the Dover sole with green asparagus were simply perfect on every level. This is what high-quality Italian cuisine should taste like. And top-notch service to boot. What more could you ask for? We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Before our meal, we were given an appetizer in the form of sandwiches, citrus-flavored alcohol, grissini, and rolls. The service was friendly, especially the young gentleman with glasses. 20/07/2026: After an unforgettable dinner in Pordenone the night before, the next day In went for lunch and Alla Catina proved it wasn't a one-hit wonder. I ordered the Carbonara, and it was everything you hope for when eating pasta in Italy. Fresh, homemade pasta with the perfect bite, coated in a rich, silky sauce that was beautifully balanced. No unnecessary twists or gimmicks, just honest Italian cooking done exceptionally well. To go with it, I had a glass of the local Friuli Pinot Grigio, which was excellent. Fresh, crisp and the perfect pairing for the meal. Once again, the local wines did not disappoint. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we walked in. Service was relaxed, attentive and exactly what you hope to find in a traditional Italian restaurant. As someone who spends much of the year travelling the world on tour, I've learned that the best meals are often the simplest ones, provided they're made with great ingredients and genuine passion. Alla Catina is a perfect example of that. If you're in Pordenone and looking for authentic Italian food, put this place on your list. Fresh homemade pasta, excellent local wine, friendly people and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay for one more glass.

20/07/2026: A historic restaurant in the center of Pordenone. The pizza, unfortunately small, is well-seasoned and very easy to digest. The Nicoise salad is excellent. Some portions are truly small (the pasta dishes and the mixed grilled fish, for example), others are adequate. Overall, the food is good.

Answer: "I don't know where you usually eat, but we cook well here." 🙄 A little taken aback by the response, I let it go out of respect for my guests... I'm used to answering politely when asked questions politely. In any case, the meal was good, and I recommend going...perhaps without asking too many questions. 😜 The two guys were kind and professional.

Everything here speaks of Friuli: the staff, the dishes served, and the atmosphere. Here, you can taste Coradazzi Prosciutto sliced ​​with a flywheel slicer, a cutting system that enhances the flavor of the prosciutto like no other. You can see the slicer in the main room, all red and shiny, proudly displayed.

The dishes are simple but excellent and carefully prepared (though the portions leave a little to be desired). The staff is knowledgeable and professional; the owner, Simone, is very helpful and experienced. A place to return often!

18/06/2025: I was there this morning, the brioche was very good but I was really shocked by the rudeness of the girl who replaces Cristina, I had already had the opportunity to see it and I had also heard about it. I basically went to pay and she asked me if I paid for everything, I told her yes, she gave me the bill and when I went out I checked and saw that she had added to the bill the 2 cappuccinos that 5 minutes before a friend of ours had gone to pay for himself, I went back in, I asked her if she remembered this person because I didn't want her to think I was ripping her off, she didn't even listen to me, she got angry saying that I was the one who had to tell her what we had and that she didn't know if they had paid for the cappuccinos because there were 100 of us, actually there were 7 of us! I described the gentleman to her but she talked over me! There weren't many people and she remembered all our drinks very well but not that they had paid for 2 cappuccinos 5 minutes before??? Come on! And in any case a little calm and good manners wouldn't hurt!

Ferdinando welcomed us with prosecco and a warm welcome, reflecting the right and proper principles of our spirit of loyalty, consistency, and contempt for those who harm others by preaching the opposite...! We had a wonderful lunch, a wonderful drink, and a cheerful atmosphere! Teodora cooked beautifully. You can see her honesty and humanity, and anyone who says otherwise... because they stop at appearances... let them float in their own tasteless soup.
