The place is really nice, not very big, I absolutely recommend making a reservation. Wooden interiors, worthy of an elegant tavern. Small bathroom. You can also eat outside, there are six tables, but personally I recommend inside. Friendly service worthy of such a traditional and honest place.

Lunch break, usually quite crowded with proposals of the day or à la carte menus. The dishes look impressive and are also good and of good quality. Helpful lady and also knows how to advise well based on tastes. Medium-low prices. I recommend it

12/01/2025: From the reviews I expected something better, but I was disappointed, I ate an appetizer that I didn't quite understand what it was, it was more salad and rocket than fish, the first one was sufficient tagliolini with crab, and then a mixed fry, this too a disappointment. I don't know how the people who reviewed this place eat.

31/01/2025: True local dining..!!! I was introduced to it by a winery. It was so delicious even though I was really, really tired. The wine pairing is also amazing. The idea of ​​it being a kind of omakase. Specializing in raw fish. It's shrimp and carpaccio with no fishy taste at all, but they also have aged sashimi, and they keep serving it until you call for appetizer stop (of course, they charge a price for each menu, but it's usually around 4-9 euros). Dried fish alpastar really... Is this why it’s Italian food? True al dente but not hard. Homemade drinks and soup (shrimp) before the meal. Is soup really a hangover? Everything was perfect, and excluding the wine, it cost about 125 euros for two. 10% VAT included. (so no tip) Michelin 3 stars in my heart. Would love to visit this area again just to stay here

10/12/2024: L'ambiente ha quella leggera patina d'altri tempi, nel senso più romantico e bello del termine. Dall arredamento dall'aria apparentemente modesto al servizio apparentemente semplice, tutto fa rivivere un tempo ed una tranquillità oramai forse perse. Cucina sublime, portate nelle giuste porzioni. E che dire della titolare, e fantastico chiacchierare con lei e sentire quanta passione nelle sue parole per il suo lavoro.

11/01/2025: Well-kept place with few seats and a beautiful atmosphere. Food ranging from meat to fish, always remaining relevant to local traditions. My husband and I opted for meat this time and were deeply satisfied. We will definitely be back to try the fish dishes too. Furthermore, excellent service, courteous and friendly (which, as a Gorizia native, I must unfortunately admit is not always easy to find). Overall, really recommended!

03/02/2025: We ate well, the sea bass in salt was good, as was the house dessert "three cents". My opinion improve the entrance to the place which is not clear where to enter, then it was too hot inside. 75cl water. 3.50 euros, 1/4 of the house wine 4.50, seems a bit much, especially the water.
