18/10/2025: Friday lunchtime, apart from us, there were only Italians, who were simply having lunch. One table remained free. When ordering the fish platter for two, we were immediately informed that it would take half an hour. Everything was freshly prepared and a feast for the eyes. A fish platter for two cost €54, absolutely reasonable and sufficient. €16 for three octopus arms with a small side dish.
Fish and seafood come at a price, I don't quite understand the other reviews. For the fish platter, a side table was traditionally brought out, and they asked if they wanted the fish cut up in front of us. Almost all the other guests took advantage of this, and we did it ourselves. The picture shows about a third of the octopus portion 🐙

20/10/2025: Excellent food, carefully prepared and with an innovative touch. Friendly, attentive, and pleasant staff, attentive service. The atmosphere is warm, pleasant, and relaxing.
04/10/2025: I usually never leave reviews unless I try a place at least a second time, but this time I'm making an exception.
The restaurant deserves five stars for the quality of the food, the owners' passion for their craft, the charming location, and, last but not least, the Palestinian flag at the entrance.
I ate a delicious boreto on a cold October evening; I hope to return soon to try other dishes.

15/10/2025: Small but fine menu; we were there for lunch. Very friendly staff. Excellent food, good house wine. Very good coffee. The prices are reasonable and fair. Give it a try, it's worth it!
27/09/2025: We discovered this fantastic osteria during a visit to Gorizia, and based on the excellent reviews, we decided to try it. Unfortunately, I'll have to limit myself to 5 stars, but it was a wonderful experience thanks to the undeniable quality of the dishes, the courteous service, and the kindness of Mauro, who guided us on a true journey of discovery of local dishes with expertise and charm. I highly recommend anyone in the area to visit; you won't be disappointed.

11/10/2025: We're lucky to have such an excellent restaurant in town! The menu is varied and seasonal, with excellent, tasty dishes. The dessert menu is so extensive you'll never know what to choose, and the wine list is equally extensive. Congratulations, and keep on spoiling us! I recommend making a reservation.

12/09/2025: I went for lunch today with my husband. Everything was excellent, the place was beautiful and well-decorated, and the food was excellent. We had two fricos as appetizers, two excellent first courses, and two desserts. The wine, water, and coffee were excellent. €90 was more than good.
I can't wait to go back.
Superb service.

14/09/2025: It feels like you're not in the center of Grado, especially considering the reasonable prices!!! We've had the pizza several times; it's good, easy to digest, large, and well-stocked. We've sat outside, which is quite comfortable, with ample space even for wheelchairs. The service was friendly and courteous, and fairly quick. We've recommended the place to other friends, who have also enjoyed it, especially for the fair prices. We'll continue to go there.

28/08/2025: While the restaurant retains the same name, its menu and decor have changed since the info on Google. That said, there were five of us for lunch. Three small first courses tasted fairly bland (the trofie with white ragù and pecorino tasted only of meat, with no hint of cheese). The truly annoying thing was the endless wait! An hour for three first courses and a steak. The bill was steep, as always when restaurants revamp themselves with a new, modern and, in my opinion, bland style.
The garden is beautiful.

05/10/2025: Good pizzas. Well-cooked, light. Friendly staff. Fast service. Screens inside and outside. The Neapolitan calzone is delicious.
We also tried the home delivery service. If you book in advance, the time is respected. The pizzas arrive well-cooked and hot.

16/10/2025: We ate here without a reservation. We got a good table. The manager spoke good German. The drinks were served quickly. We ordered a pizza calzone and a steak with arugula and potatoes. The food was very good. But the entire service, including the bill, was poor. We were given an interim receipt instead of a cash receipt. The manager then disappeared; no one came to settle the bill. We ended up having to go into the store and give him the money.

Mare, sole e aperitivo.
Direzione Vicenza ma ci siamo detti ceniamo in zona così facciamo presto.
Cerchiamo su Trip Advisor ed ecco che a 3,5 km ci compare “Locanda La Ferula” Staranzano (GO), mi sembra ok e via…
Locale molto carino, ci fanno sedere sotto dei gazebo colorati acqua e menu…
Piatti originali dai nomi altrettanto originali: sushi agricolo, caprese impressionista ecc.
Abbiamo mangiato bene, ma non voglio rovinare la sorpresa con parole che ridurrebbero le aspettative perciò vi invito ad andarli a scoprire…
Purtroppo però la lentezza del servizio ci ha reso l’esperienza mediocre. Entrati alle 19:45 usciti quasi alle 22:00… avevamo anche detto di aver fretta!
Dispiace.
Le 5 star saranno per la prossima volta.
07/03/2025: Gli amici non lo conoscevano, ed avendolo noi provato di recente li portiamo certi di far bella figura !
Polpettine, flan, frico, cotechino, primi piatti….tutto eccellente, amici soddisfatti particolarmente dopo aver assaggiato i deliziosi dolci…ed abbondantemente bevuto dell’ottimo Refosco.
Torneremo in Friuli questa primavera e non mancheremo di tornare a trovarvi
