25/12/2024: I went to this restaurant on Christmas Eve. Really well set table and very beautiful and elegant environment. I didn't appreciate that they served a chicken salad as an entrée, as it was Christmas Eve and I also don't eat meat, even if, once I mentioned it, they brought me another entrée (they should have asked for it first!). Very good starter and fish main course, with top quality ingredients, even if the portions are not abundant. The dessert, however, left a lot to be desired. As for the service, from a place of this type, I would have expected much better; most of the waiters were visibly novices.

09/12/2024: Il locale si presenta bene con un parcheggio non troppo ampio ma giusto per il numero di tavoli all'interno. Buona la cucina ma non sorprendente prezzi un filo alto ma conformi con la media attuale. Personale accogliente è preparato la proprietaria meno mi è sembrata distaccata in alcuni casi. Non è la prima volta che frequento questo locale, ho notato che nella vecchia struttura la cucina era di gran lunga più attenta è curata la differenza la noterete.

02/01/2025: If I had to stick with just one restaurant in Maranello, it would be this one. Both starters and pasta are really good. It is also worth noting, apart from the food, the decoration, which will not leave you indifferent with all the history it preserves. We, this time, opted for the pasta with mushrooms, which was amazing. But anything on the card you choose will be a hit; Mama Rosella's cooking is one of the best!

04/11/2024: Locanda del Mulino di Gorzano is an enchanting place, perfect for an authentic Emilian culinary experience. During our visit, we savored the delicious mixed antipasto del Mulino, followed by the classic Tortellini in capon broth and the refined Tortelloni Vecchia Modena with spun balsamic vinegar, all dishes performed with a unique care for local traditions. The desserts, in particular the hot Sfogliatina with custard and the inn's Tiramisu, were the perfect culmination of an excellent lunch. The cuisine and hospitality of the Locanda make the restaurant an unmissable stop for those seeking the authentic Modena flavor in a welcoming and refined environment

06/01/2025: Come facciamo da qualche anno, il 31 dicembre pranziamo in un locale del centro storico. Torniamo alla Taverna dei Servi dopo molti anni. Il locale è sempre molto accogliente e bello con le volte a botte. Decidiamo di mangiare un poco di carne. Un guanciale di maialino e la tagliata. Ottimo anche il piatto di gnocco che utilizziamo come pane (gustoso e poco unto). Piatti abbondanti, ben cucinati e gustosi (guanciale tenerissimo). Molto buone anche le verdure (zucchine, melanzane e radicchio) che abbiniamo alla carne. Decisamente soddisfacenti anche i dolci, particolarmente la zuppa inglese. Servizio veloce e cortese. Consigliato

Anche rapporto qualità/prezzo eccellente , abbiamo preso un antipasto e salumi freschissimi di qualità e gnocco fritto cottura perfetta (asciutta come dovrebbe essere) , poi abbiamo deciso di buttarci sui primi e devo dire molto buoni si vede che sono fatti in casa e freschi !! Servizio eccellente sopratutto per il capo sala Matteo che è stato molto professionale e attento ai dettagli e all’attenzione dei colleghi .. devo dire che tornerò sicuramente !!

06/01/2025: Locale carino e curato nei dettagli. Personale gentile e attento nei particolari. Peccato per i tempi di attesa molto lunghi tra una portata e l’altra (anche per il tagliere di antipasti che non richiede una lunga preparazione ). Prezzo leggermente alto soprattutto per alcuni piatti. Cibo buono.

14/12/2024: the young lady who welcomed us was really kind to both us and our little girls...she made us sit right away and the first course arrived very quickly...the pasta with sardines was fantastic like the other two first courses...the swordfish cutlet sublime... the generous portions... the very friendly staff... we will definitely be back for the happiness of my girls...

23/12/2024: The first courses were all a little bland for my taste, both the tortellini broth (very good) and the tortelloni. The meat was excellent, but really delicious as were the potatoes. Excellent service.

30/12/2024: Simple and welcoming place. We had lunch "à la carte" the autumn millefeuille and the Burger Bottura, both excellent. The tortellini with parmesan cream, good but very tasty for those who don't like to eat very tasty foods, and finally the pear tartelette, very delicate and perfectly executed. Very kind and attentive staff. I will definitely return if I return to Modena!

21/12/2024: I am completely baffled by this restaurant’s decision to charge 100 euros for canceling a table of two due to illness. For a restaurant as undeniably successful and in-demand as this one, there is absolutely no justification for such an extreme and unnecessary policy. This isn’t a struggling establishment trying to make ends meet. Rather, t’s a thriving business that clearly doesn’t need to resort to such punitive measures. Penalizing customers for unavoidable circumstances, such as illness, is both tone-deaf and deeply unprofessional. It shows a shocking lack of understanding and respect for the very people who contribute to the restaurant’s success. The message this policy sends is clear: customers are valued only as sources of revenue, not as people. We were effectively penalized heftily by this establishment for spending the evening sick in bed. For an establishment of this caliber, this approach is not just ridiculous – it’s embarrassing. Most successful restaurants manage to maintain profitability and goodwill without resorting to policies that feel like nothing more than a blatant money grab. Policies like this alienate customers, degrade trust, and tarnish the reputation of a business that otherwise prides itself on quality and prestige. I strongly urge the management to reconsider this policy. A restaurant this successful should lead by example, fostering goodwill and professionalism rather than implementing punitive and unnecessary fees. Until this changes, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
