17/02/2026: We went to dinner with my nieces since we were staying in beautiful Salerno, and the food was delicious. The calzone and spaghetti carbonara were amazing. The waiter was very friendly; he brought us a complimentary glass of limoncello and tiramisu. And I got to try the Falanghina wine—exquisite! I would definitely go back. I loved it! 💯

02/02/2026: Passing through Salerno, this place managed to get us all to agree. Unsure of what to eat (between meat-eaters and vegetarians), we found this place that offers literally everything. Meat, fish, pizza, etc. And practically everything we ordered was excellent, from pizza to risotto (including fish and mozzarella) - truly a great discovery. And above all, thanks to Amid, he was super professional and patient (a table of 7), fulfilling every request with the utmost professionalism. Great person, thanks for the evening. Top

16/09/2025: The pizza was small, very light, but nothing special. Much of the dough underneath was black and burnt (a dangerously harmful ingredient, carcinogenic). A €2.50 cover charge per person seems a bit excessive for the type of service. The quality/price ratio was quite poor. We didn't have a good experience.

22/12/2025: A total disappointment: two risottos arrived lukewarm, two microwaved calamari so tough they were inedible, one with half a toothpick still on the plate. A real disaster.

31/10/2025: The service was unfriendly; you could really tell the owners and staff thought they didn't need to be friendly anymore. It was like they were thinking, "The tourists will come anyway!" We ordered the Caprese sandwich from the menu, but were told it wasn't available that day. Oddly enough, they did have another sandwich and the Caprese salad. It makes you wonder why they didn't have the Caprese sandwich. To me, it can only mean that the items were pre-made and not freshly prepared. The coffee was also bad, which is hard to find in Italy.

14/10/2025: Had some local wine here and the owner’s brought us some nice bites to accompany the wines. Very gracious and friendly people. After wines had their cappuccino and apricot filled pastry as well. So delicious. Excellent views of the sea across the road.

12/01/2026: I don't usually write bad reviews, but this time I'll make an exception. I go to this restaurant's website and find a menu that says they also do takeout or delivery. I call to order a portion of chicken with potatoes (the menu says the chicken weighs about 1 kg and costs 16 euros), but they tell me they don't do delivery and that the menu is out of date (maybe it's time to update it). "To be fair," they inform me that the portion isn't 1 kg but rather a thigh + drumstick +, of course, potatoes, and that the price is 15 euros per portion. Okay, I'll order for pickup. I arrive, pay, and get in the car ready to leave, but I decide to check the portions because the containers seemed small and light... I was right, the portions were indeed very small, and I decide to go back to ask if everything was correct. They tell me those are the correct portions. Obviously, the waiters and cashiers aren't to blame, so I say goodbye and leave. Once I get home, I weigh the chicken and potatoes to be as accurate as possible: Chicken portion 1: 160 g Chicken portion 2: 185 g Single portion of potatoes: 210 g Total cost, including two 33cl Cokes in glass bottles: €36 Honestly, this seems like an ABSURD price. I definitely won't be back! The staff (from what little I saw) seemed polite and friendly.

14/09/2025: Good quality products. Fried food was good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Wagon Wheel pizza was excellent, and the traditional Margherita was good. The potatoes and sausage were good. The Catalan seafood paella was good, but not as excellent as I expected. Maybe next time. The staff was very kind and attentive to their customers' needs.

15/02/2026: We made a reservation, but upon arrival, we were asked to stand for over half an hour before being seated. We had specifically ordered a Red Krowa. However, we overheard the grill chef tell the waitress that it wasn't available and that only Prussiana or Phenomena were available. We weren't informed of the shortage, and we were nevertheless served a different meat without any prior notification. When we asked for clarification, a staff member initially stated that it was Red Krowa, while another later intervened, admitting that it was Phenomena because the Red Krowa was out of stock. Only then was clarity clarified. The price charged was, in fact, the same as the Phenomena. Furthermore, the meat served had a lot of sinew and was far from the quality expected from a grill restaurant of this caliber. The side dish also arrived different from what we ordered and was only replaced after we notified them. We understand that a product can run out, but the lack of communication and the contradictory information we received were not a sign of customer care. An overall disappointing experience.

15/10/2025: The food was delicious!! The first waitress was very kind and fun, but she still had a lot to learn. The head waitress was fantastic!!! And she really knew her job!! She even helped us with excursions. The meat was perfect, and the baba was delicious!!

18/10/2025: The location is beautiful (sea view, in a shaded garden) and the food was delicious. The prices are moderately high, but you can taste the quality and spend it happily. We didn't have any problems with waiting (as I read in other reviews), but it must be said that we ate very late, in a nearly empty restaurant. The staff was very friendly, and the overall experience was truly enjoyable. It's a shame to read so many negative reviews because it's a lovely place, with authentic cuisine (fresh and beautifully cooked fish, including fried fish that was nice and dry). You pay for the view (and the fame of Castellabate).

The tagliatelle with truffle and the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms were excellent. 🥰 The place was very welcoming and the staff were very kind. I highly recommend this restaurant and if I have another opportunity, I will definitely return. ❤️

19/08/2025: I can't comment on the quality of the food because, despite having made a reservation, upon our arrival we were told that the table was still unavailable. The atmosphere was too hot and chaotic. Having already had experience, as soon as I saw that none of the tables had food, I realized that the kitchen was out of sorts and we left.
