29/05/2024: Very tasty food, weekly changing offerings (as far as I understand it) at super fair prices! You also get fresh, very tasty bread. I can definitely recommend it with salt and olive oil. You definitely leave well fed at a reasonable price. Nice to get a vegan selection!

05/04/2024: Good wine, food was pretty good but not the best. The service was really bad. They seem understaffed, stressed, and not willing to make extra effort to make clients happy. Overall not a bad place. Nice ambiance. Service threw me off, and food could be better. Also most dishes were sold out. Dish came out have cold half hot as if it was heated in a bad microwave.

25/03/2024: I have had the opportunity to appreciate this small, well-kept place several times. All my experiences have certainly been positive. The owner is a great wine enthusiast and researches the labels he offers with great dedication and competence. Excellent value for money. The dishes offered are well executed and the combinations recommended by the owner, always kind and courteous, work very well. I would like to recommend the grillo and the famous (the ladies) as vines that I have had the opportunity to appreciate in recent aperitifs. The cod zeppole are a must have. I will definitely be back with some guests who want to try a different drink, so we'll see you again soon!

18/06/2024: Recommended by friends, my girlfriend and I had a great time. On the advice of the chef we had excellent linguine with prawns and a second course of fried fish. I highly recommend the meloncello at the end of the meal

07/06/2024: I stop to get two fried pizzas. I take two complete ones, one with cicoli and the other with cooked. Both delicious and all the ingredients used were excellent. I also tried their freshly fried zeppole, a real pleasure, very soft. Kindness and courtesy from all the staff.

There are tons of tables, all very comfortable The atmosphere is very quiet, and all waiters were very attentive and friendly. The food is amazing. Pizzas are definitely not overpriced. La cordialità di Barbara e Bea ci ha subito disarmato ci siamo lasciati condurre nell'esperienza gastronomica più buona in assoluto che possa ricordare. Bocconcini di baccalà, zuppa di cozze, mozzarella ripiena, scialafielli fatti in casa ai frutti di mare e poi poliletti alla Lucia e cannolo scomposto e tiramisú.... mi dispiace non aver foto ma non so o riuscito ad aspettare hoangiato tutto subito. deco dirlo che bella mangiata... devo tornarci devo mangiare il resto. bravi ragazzi andate avanti così

We just happened upon this place whilst waiting to check into our accommodation, and what an absolute blessing it was! They were so friendly. I love making pizza and pasta (taught by an Italian) but nothing I’ve ever made came close to the pizza I had today. Thank you all so much!

04/06/2024: Sartu, located in the heart of Vomero, perfectly combines traditional cuisine with excellent quality. The wine list is excellent and offers a wide choice. The highlight is undoubtedly the Sartu, impeccably prepared. The staff is friendly and the relaxing atmosphere makes the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

18/06/2024: First time ever TOP 5 STARS! I am Neapolitan and live abroad. When I return home I like to visit new restaurants in Naples. I had read some great reviews about this place and I confirm everything. The owner is genuine and extremely helpful with customers. He spends the day among the tables supervising the service and also helping the staff to clear the table (it doesn't matter whether he does it for advertising or something else. He is among the people and this is not the case for all owners). The service is perfect: even though it was Sunday lunch, the service was fast but at the same time measured, in the sense that it is not one of those restaurants (as often happens in such renowned places) where they serve you one dish after another to speed up consumption and free up the tables for the next customer. The fish was all excellent, fresh and plentiful. The exceptional pasta. The same goes for desserts. The restaurant relies on the most renowned pastry shops in Naples from Poppella to Sal di Riso on the coast. Finally, the location: I usually prefer restaurants by the sea. I have lived in Africa for years for work and as a Neapolitan I always look for the sea and the gulf when I return to my city, but I recognize that eating in the heart of the real Naples has no comparison (I am from Arenella and I love my neighborhood but the center is no, this is the real Naples! I will definitely be back soon!

08/06/2024: First of all I would like to point out that we arrived without booking. The waiter kindly found a solution for us to have a table even without a reservation. Here is the positive point of this experience in this restaurant. The second and final positive point was the wine (Lacryma Christi). Concerning the negative aspects: plates that were sparsely garnished compared to the price, a plate of spaghettone was even brought back to the kitchen because the cooking was not sufficient (a shame for a simple Italian dish), the plate was made up of olives black/green and caper. The whole thing was tasteless, without research, flavor or consistency. For the price, we felt that the cuisine was poorly crafted, with little passion on the plate. A real disappointment. As for the service, the two waitresses were particularly nonchalant, one of them actually threw the bread basket on the table. A lack of desire during this service! To conclude, after a starter and a main course, we went to order a sandwich elsewhere, just to fill our stomachs...

02/06/2024: Amazing traditional food from Naples. Very reasonable prices. Big wine list. This place is very small, so either make a reservation or arrive early. Highly recommended. The tile work in the interior is beautiful. Note that you cannot open the door from outside. The staff must open the door for you.

31/05/2024: I was really pleased to find this place because it's a little off the tourist trail. The upstairs is much nicer than the basement, where we sat. Service was OK but they clearly look for every opportunity to make money out of you eg by not offering tap water when it's perfectly fine to drink. But the food was disappointing. My anchovies were nice enough but were supposed to have chilli in the marinade and there was none. The meatballs were pretty much tasteless and the ragu clearly hadn't been simmered for long enough. Portion sizes not exactly generous
