24/09/2025: Ate at the restaurant here. Had the best raviolis ever in my life. Stopped here from our private boat tour from Sorrento. Fabulous. Service was amazing. Really expensive. You really start to see the prices go up the closer you get to Capri and positano. Worth the spend but most likely wouldn’t stay here.

22/09/2025: staff very rude, went on a boat trip day here and felt forced to eat. staff told us if we wasn’t to eat it would require €100 per person to access capri town which now we have found out this is a lie. they were very shocked none of me or my friends liked fish food and was extremely rude and looked down their nose at us, especially the man in the grey blazer with grey hair, mocked our accent and made us feel very little, we left without ordering as we felt trapped and very unsafe - do not recconmend

23/01/2026: The place is very pleasant. The covered terraces, perfect for keeping warm during the winter, offer stunning views of the city and the surrounding mountains. The food is remarkably good, arriving quickly and piping hot, made with high-quality local ingredients that allow you to experience authentic Campanian cuisine. International dishes are available for children. The service is excellent. The food is a bit pricey, but that's to be expected in a restaurant located next to such a popular tourist attraction.

25/10/2025: Mediocre but serviceable food. Grab a bite before seeing Pompeii, nothing much else to say.

14/10/2025: Authentic, non-touristified, Italian family restaurant. A true hole in the wall and one of our favorite places to eat in Sorrento, both in 2018 and 2025. If you’re expecting a modern atmosphere and service then it may not be for you, but the food (particularly the calzone and bolognese we got) is some of the best we’ve ever had. Will certainly be going back if we’re ever in Sorrento again, might even go back this trip

10/11/2025: The atmosphere is absolutely welcoming, and the people are all incredibly kind. When you walk in, you'll want to buy everything. We even decided to have lunch there, and we were absolutely satisfied. Quality products and absolutely fair prices. Congratulations, you guys are a great place. Keep it up!

02/11/2025: Beware of the young saleswoman. She tried to overcharge us by pressing down on the scale to weigh sausages that were already priced! I took a pork sausage and a wild boar sausage and gave them to her. I saw her put them on the scale and casually rest her hand on them in the corner. At first, I thought, "She doesn't understand anything. She doesn't know how to do this." I could see that there was no fixed price she was getting, obviously, and then she came out with an astronomical price of €44 for the two sausages! I said, "Oh no, at that price, of course I'm not buying them!" We put them back in the basket. I grabbed two more from the side and realized that the prices were already fixed on each sausage, which had already been weighed! They were already €11 and €13, which is an astronomical price for the size of these sausages, which, to make matters worse, weren't even local! Too fatty, too salty, and not made in the valley! So, a double rip-off. In short, beware, it's a tourist trap!!! And the saleswoman clearly thinks you're an idiot... I don't recommend this place. You'll find better, cheaper, and more honest options elsewhere...

03/02/2026: Excellent quality food, traditional Neapolitan dishes cooked to perfection, a family atmosphere, and friendly staff. I go there often when I'm in Naples for work and it feels right at home. Highly recommended.

06/01/2026: We visited this restaurant last night, passing through the streets of Salerno to see the Christmas lights. Mr. Mimmo showed us the various menus as we passed, and on our way back, we stopped. What can I say? We made an excellent choice! We ordered the fish menu, delicious, with generous portions, but above all, the fish was fresh and cooked to order. I highly recommend anyone who happens to be in Salerno to stop and savor the delicacies of this restaurant.

22/11/2025: Since it was the off-season, they didn't seem to be open until late at night, but we started dinner in the evening and enjoyed some seafood. It was a wonderful time with a slow pace and delicious food. Seafood is definitely recommended.

20/11/2025: It’s a tourist trap. They only have a few things on the menu, and they make off-menu items (like pizza) at very high prices without telling you beforehand. Luckily, we sensed something was wrong and ordered just a pizza. It was €20 and tasted average. The view was nice, but the way they hide the prices on purpose so they can overcharge you—especially if you speak English—is really shady. And the €6 tip was already included on the bill, so you can’t refuse it even if you feel scammed.

25/12/2025: We had the fixed seafood menu for €35 per person. NOT RECOMMENDED. Poor-quality food, prepared even worse by uninterested staff . We ate to avoid waste.

30/01/2026: Don't waste your money. It doesn't worth what you pay for it. Pizza and spaghetti taste was normal, but calamari was garbage. I don't even want to mention ice cream !!! Ice cream wasn't ice cream, it was just ice with lemon. I am wondering if the boss of this restaurant has ever tasted this ice( cream ).

03/01/2026: Even if I close my eyes and tap dance and make it with my feet, it tastes better than this.

15/12/2025: Unfortunately, we fell into the tourist trap without realizing it; we should have looked at the reviews first. The place was empty, yet the waiter didn't want to set another table (for two) near the fireplace and sat us at a table in the middle. We came in purely for the menu outside, with a generous selection of wild boar and other meat dishes. In reality, we were served a pork sausage, slapped onto a plain white plate. The Florentine steak was supposed to be 400 grams, but we received a thin fillet of dubious origin, not even 200 grams. The wine tasted like spirits for some reason, and the French fries were full of an oddly colored oil and raw inside. The platter? The four slices of salami were cut thinner than my fingernail. For a platter, a side dish, a single sausage, and the Florentine steak, 60 euros and a lot of bitterness.

12/10/2025: Pasta was PERFECTLY done al dente and the views were spectacular. Very local seafood restaurant on the coast. The waiter brought over the daily catch and had a few recommendations, that were all very simple, but very flavorful. Our table of 4 all got different pasta and fish dishes for a lunch and they were all delicious. Pricing was very reasonable. Would recommend and would definitely go back! Grazie Mille!

26/09/2025: Terrible- overpriced and not good. Eat somewhere else. ordered a green salad and they gave us iceberg lettuce with a dry lemon and no dressing. Fish noodles were oily and undercooked and had a tiny piece of fish- maybe like two bites worth. Pizza was okay but oily- bad for Italy. Spaghetti was also undercooked. Consistently bad- tourist prices. Slightly cheaper than in Amalfi but ridiculous for how bad the quality was When we asked the guy about the salad he said that’s the green salad. Waste of money.

05/11/2025: At first everything was fine and it was really great. Until this evening. We came back from a visit of Capri with my school group and when I enter the room everything got cleaned. But when I try to make my phone charge, I realized they broke it. They pushed the bunk bed against it so much that the spring broke. No it doesn't work at all. They didn't even wrote a note saying sorry. They left it there broken.

04/11/2025: I can't believe this place is open to the public. It's a disgrace to the city. The room we were in (a four-person room) was pitiful. It had two single beds and a bunk bed. One of the single beds had blood on the pillow and only one light source—a dim light in the corner of the room. The second bulb in the other corner light was burned out, and our window looked out onto a wall. Our mirror was bloodstained and broken, the sink drain was clogged, and the sink itself was filthy. I slept on the bottom mattress of the bunk, and the bottom of the top bunk was held up with a metal grid that would have blinded me in one eye if I'd gotten up too quickly. I'm writing all this the same evening, having just arrived at the hotel. I haven't yet had the misfortune of sleeping in the incredibly uncomfortable bed—so uncomfortable it could cause scoliosis after five minutes of supposed rest—or of tasting the lunch, which, if things continue this way, will be expired at best and teeming with insects at worst. The best possible alternative to lunch that management could try would be to give us money in the morning to buy something edible in town. One good thing to say, though: the staff were exemplary and very kind. Otherwise, I can't recommend this dreadful and run-down place less than highly.
