20/09/2025: Nice place with a great sea view... but after ordering and drinking their pineapple juice, I felt unwell... Diagnosed with gastroenteritis due to Citrobacter, and I'm still on antibiotics! Never again... And please remember to store food and drinks properly from now on, before the NAS intervenes! Thanks.

20/10/2025: Not wanting to go to a restaurant, we decided to grab a quick bite, so we did! The display case wasn't very inviting, but we tried it anyway. We spent 36 euros, and we almost emptied the counter, especially since it was late at 9:30 PM. We asked for everything to be reheated. When we started eating, the food was hard and barely warm! (Of course, we put it in the microwave). Thanks, but we won't be back. Then we wanted to sit down, but we didn't know it had a different price (two of them came to tell us we couldn't and we had to pay something extra). For God's sake, we didn't want to steal your chairs. But the Coke was cold.

14/08/2025: LOOKS GREAT ! My wife and I were back in beautiful Salerno for 6 days....our fav place in Italy. Apart from all the fabulous restaurants, cafes, espresso bars and gelato shops the beauty of Salerno is it's walkability factor. On Saturday we walked from our apartment on Corso Vittorio Emanuele to Bar Rosa al Corso for delicious mid morning cappuccinos. Directly across the mall we saw this sandwich shop and decided to have a peek inside. Lots of amazing looking fresh made sandwiches & more to go. No seating inside but plenty on the covered outdoor dining area. I bought a bottle of spring water and put this spot on our list for future reference. IT'S ALL GOOD !

09/06/2026: The location was absolutely gorgeous. It is not close to much but the view is spectacular. The room itself, breakfast, and service were terrible. The beds are uncomfortable with sheets that had holes and felt paper thin. We stayed with several others who had ran out of toilet paper, were hesistant to give extra towels, the shower has so much build up that it is not usable unless using the hose. The breakfast was subpar with pastries that were not great and a coffee machine that didn't give espresso and the other options gave burnt espresso or coffee. The dinner service was awful. We had plans to eat two nights and ended up going somewhere else the next night in Sorrento. Great place to at least lay your head at night but definitely most basic of rooms.

29/05/2026: 2 Days: What can I say? A bad experience: nightmare rooms with no light, poorly maintained bathrooms, bar service, and buffet breakfast, with no attention paid to the coffee machine and the cappuccino, which were empty! The only positive thing: the friendly owner and the strategic location with a beautiful sea view. The rest needs to be reconsidered.

12/06/2026: After selling my family five beach chairs and two umbrellas, I tried opening one of the umbrellas and an old man came over and told me it was too windy for the umbrellas. When I tried to help him put it down the geezer slapped my hand. Then repeatedly told me I couldn’t use the umbrella like four more times. Why are you renting umbrellas you can’t use?

12/06/2026: Book ahead of time, the beach is small pebbles not sand. Waves were small and temp was refreshing. Staff was a little misleading and push to pay or get out. We were just trying to clerify prices for our visit. Good beach time for a day or so, afternoon shad was nice. They do have full service included with your entry fee. We took some snacks and drinks, not sure if it's allowed but the kiddos needed to have something to keep them going. Great shopping and dining near by.

17/05/2026: If you enjoy playing house, you've come to the right place! All the cafes, despite their extensive menus, are tiny with normal prices. Basically, you order an iced coffee in a cup like the one in the photo, and it arrives in a thimble…

08/05/2026: We were warmly welcomed in to this restaurant and while their specials and dishes are mostly seafood, the waiter and other staff went above and beyond to make sure some dishes were vegetarian when we asked for someone at the table who eats no meat or fish. They were incredibly friendly, I would highly recommend their tomato bruschetta and the sorrento pasta (tomato and cheese) - these were highlights of our evening! Atmosphere I have put as a 4 as originally there was no music on and it was a quiet evening so felt a little uncomfortable but the waiter did end up playing some music and made sure we were all having a good time

04/05/2026: We saw the reviews and were a little apprehensive, but our experience was fabulous. The lasagna was spectacular, the spaghetti delicious, and best of all, the pizza was the best! We'll be back! Oh, and the tiramisu was by far the best I've ever had. Great value for money.

11/12/2025: A steal. 2 clams + 2 mussels (royal) + 8 paccheri = "allo scoglio"! €20 + €3.50 water + €3.50 cover charge + 7 glasses of wine = €34

04/12/2025: At first, we were a bit cautious because of the not-so-positive reviews. However, since nothing else around was open in the afternoon, we decided to give it a try. I honestly don’t think it was as bad as some people described. For me, it was quite okay. The music could definitely have been less loud, but it was nothing unbearable. The service was good, the pizza was nice, and the seafood was also enjoyable. We certainly did not experience any food poisoning. :)

14/06/2026: Beyond the pale, even the table marker is moldy. Awful service. Shame about the superb view. Old Caserta remains a gem.

07/06/2026: I don't understand how a bar can charge a cover charge, which should already be included in the table service. Furthermore, what's even worse is that they don't even issue a receipt. A decidedly unprofessional and opaque experience.

13/06/2026: The food is average and reasonably priced. We ordered pizzas that were decent but nothing special. The least remarkable thing was the service; in a super touristy area, they don't speak other languages. On a 29-degree day, we asked four different people for ice and had no luck; we ended up having to drink our drinks plain. However, the view makes up for all that, and I think they take advantage of it.

13/03/2026: The pizza was tasteless, filled with various pieces of meat, it looked like leftovers were thrown on it. In addition, they charge a service fee of 2 euros per person.

25/12/2025: We had the fixed seafood menu for €35 per person. NOT RECOMMENDED. Poor-quality food, prepared even worse by uninterested staff . We ate to avoid waste.
