15/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ La Vela – Always a Wonderful Experience! We don’t understand the poor reviews — we’ve always had fantastic experiences at La Vela in Maiori! Every time we visit, the food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The seafood and pasta dishes are always spot on, and you can truly taste the quality and care that goes into each plate. Cherry tomatoes and pasta my fav…thanks Angelo 😉 The service has always been warm and welcoming — the staff make you feel like part of the family. The atmosphere is lovely, relaxed, and full of that Amalfi Coast charm that keeps us coming back year after year. Whether it’s lunch by the sea or dinner under the stars, La Vela has never disappointed us. It’s one of our go-to spots in Maiori, and we look forward to every visit! 💙🍋🇮🇹

03/11/2025: The pastries are undoubtedly excellent, but the service leaves much to be desired here. The waitresses' feigned kindness borders on rudeness. On Sunday evening, they told us that closing time varies; another time, they almost kicked us out. I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay.

02/11/2025: Slow and haphazard service. Spritz for €8! The woman who runs the place was rude, greedy, and inattentive to customer needs. Not recommended.

02/06/2025: Se andate nella bellissima S’Agata dei Goti dovete fermarvi all’Antico Borgo, mangerete piatti tipici locali in un’atmosfera senza tempo, nei bellissimi vicoli del centro storico, grande gentilezza del titolare sig. Gianni e dei camerieri e naturalmente cibo squisito e dí grande qualità! Consiglio vivamente I ravioli alla mela annurca e il babà alla mela annurca, sono prodotti tipici locali nel Vicolo freddo! Fantastico!

25/05/2025: Domenica 25 maggio, siamo stati io e la mia ragazza a pranzo ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa…. Prodotti di qualità, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo… proprietario disponibile e personale a modo.. consigliato!

24/09/2025: Well-kept facility and clean sea, free showers (cold water). Parking is €6 for the whole stay, very good; two sun loungers are €30 at the end of September, a bit pricey. The beach is rocky: water shoes are required. Overall, beautiful!

03/09/2025: I was at this beach club the day before yesterday, intrigued by the positive reviews and their Instagram page, which convinced me to go. It's very nice, I must say, impeccably organized, everything very well-organized and cared for. I have nothing to complain about even the bar area. If I had to find a negative, it would be the "bathrooms"—they're comfortable and have all the amenities—but there are some customers who don't know what hygiene is here, let alone at home. Just one phrase: "Toilet bowls covered in urine." I don't blame the beach club... but they could be a little more careful about this. What else can I say? The underpass from the parking lot to the beach club is very convenient. I'll definitely be back.

09/10/2025: The service was reasonably fine. But people are not joking about the frozen pizza bases! How tragic in this city to serve a frozen pizza base. Should be disappointed in serving that. As soon as we got the food we were wanted out. Meatballs were sparse….3 meatballs that I assume was in a bought tomato sauce. Partly on us for a poor choice but avoid this place. If they are serving frozen pizza base……what else are they serving frozen…..?

08/10/2025: DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. The food only gets 3 stars because my husband enjoyed his liver. The pizza base was obviously frozen and thr topping was less than adequate. No-one came to ask if our meal was okay otherwise I would have said no. The guy on the door is very pleasant don't be fooled. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

28/08/2025: A guarantee! I come regularly in August and the food is always excellent, often with musical entertainment. I highly recommend it.

04/11/2025: Delicious pizzas. No comment on the atmosphere as it's takeout. Be aware that on Saturdays there can be an hour-long queue in the street to order!

27/10/2025: A terrible experience! Ordered Justeat takeout at 8:20 p.m., the wait was announced as 55 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant, 1 hour after ordering, at 9:20 p.m. They confirmed the delivery on the Justeat app and informed me that the order hadn't been processed yet and that they'd make the pizzas in 10 minutes. It ended up being 55 minutes, and I finally left with 5 pizzas at 10:15 p.m. Almost 2 hours after ordering, with no apologies from the staff. Plus, the pizzas weren't great. I was a tourist who was treated like a fool. I don't recommend it.

01/10/2025: I went to Masteria Sardo for a group lunch with several friends, and overall it was a positive experience. The location is stunning: surrounded by greenery, with a well-kept garden and a panoramic terrace overlooking the lake, creating a relaxing and evocative atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, even with a large group like ours. They gave us a warm welcome, even allowing us to enjoy an aperitif in the garden, despite it being a bit far from the restaurant. Regarding food, the quality is good, but—to be honest—I found the prices a bit high for a farm stay. The wines are above average, and even the set menu is quite expensive for the quantity: four good but not generous appetizers, then a first or second course (depending on the package), and of course water, dessert, and cover charge not included. In the end, a full meal easily costs over 50-60 euros per person, even more if you choose a good bottle. In short, a beautiful location and friendly service, but prices are a bit higher than expected for the type of food offered. Ideal for a special occasion, less so for a casual lunch.

28/09/2025: We booked a table on the restaurant's official website via QANDOO. When we arrived at the restaurant, the manager told us that reservations on the website were blocked (it wasn't stated anywhere, and it was the restaurant's official website) and teased us by saying there had been a virus and a problem with the terminals the night before. She then suggested we go to their bar, at 2:00 on Sunday, when we obviously wanted lunch. I definitely won't be returning, and the negative review is well-deserved. I recommend coordinating your phone reservations with online ones, since it's 2025. You can fool other people, not me.

05/05/2025: Nous étions 6 personnes grosses additions 4 bouteilles de vins et au moment de partir la patronne nous propose du limoncello on ok et la elle les rajoute sur l’addition je lui et fait remarquer mais rien à faire une vraie tête de mule 😡

07/11/2025: I stayed at this hotel in July 2025 and I have to say I had a great time! Friendly staff, simple but fully equipped rooms... a beachfront hotel, close to the center!!! The breakfast was excellent, even for my kids.

18/10/2025: My experience at this hotel was disappointing 2 months ago. The room wasn't cleaned properly and the smell of damp was very strong. The bathroom looked like a bathroom from Shrek. Or maybe hers was better!! Parking was paid, air conditioning too. Is that even possible? I paid a full salary to take a vacation like M. Personally, my family and I will never set foot in that hotel again because it's a shame to waste money like that. And then there was the owner of the hotel who spoke so arrogantly to the customers and the poor staff. SHAME! I had never seen anything like it. Twice when I had lunch there, I felt like throwing up because I always found hair and expired food. I felt sick for a week and thank goodness I didn't report it!! The waiters were super kind and professional and good at their jobs. It's a shame they ended up working there! So if you want to have a vacation like M, go to this hotel. I recommend it!

12/11/2025: After waiting more than two hours, we got in. The reservations and other arrangements were poorly organized. The place is nice and the pizzas are good, but there's little customer service. They made a mistake with one of our pizzas and brought it to the table without a main topping, without saying anything or finding a solution to our complaints.

17/10/2025: The Sicilian cod was good, but the pasta with frutti di mare was not al dente but almost raw and tasted nothing more than undercooked pasta, even though pasta is usually made well almost everywhere in Italy.

29/09/2025: The restaurant is located in the outdoor area and the prices are too excessive for the menus available, not to mention the drinks which have a high cost of at least 5/6 times the normal price and

30/10/2025: While walking, we decided to stop for lunch. Nice pizzeria restaurant. We opted for a fish first and second course. Really good. Sat outside on the veranda on a beautiful day. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Prices are reasonable. I recommend it if you're in the area.

29/10/2025: Highly recommended! They had not only pizza, but also pasta, meat, and more. A delicious but expensive meal. We did get our money's worth, though: delicious fish dishes, meat dishes, a dessert, wine, and other drinks. We were even treated to two glasses of limoncello and a delicious lemon ice cream. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't attract many customers; it wasn't until we left around 7 p.m. that other people arrived.

20/07/2025: Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima serata, per iniziare prima della carne ci hanno offerto una serie di antipasti davvero tanto apprezzati, la carne consigliata da loro ottima. Lo staff disponibile e il conto davvero onesto ,molto consigliato.
