24/10/2025: Not a great Beach and its expensive to use

14/10/2025: Great private beach. Amazing views. Expect to pay for loungers, but staff were friendly! 15€ per person for entry for the day including loungers. Worth it for the beautiful scenery and water!

02/11/2025: The staff is friendly but it's useless to try to 'catch' the customer at the entrance... unfortunately I had a terrible experience with your pizzas twice, I ate badly and paid too much... This morning I tried to avoid the pizzeria so as not to make another mistake... however, I haven't had any better. This is the standard I think, polite yes but in a restaurant you want to sit down to eat without drinking liters of water for the next two days.

24/10/2025: Quite good, but way too expensive for the quality! We felt like suckers at the end...😅 4 euros cover charge, per person!!! In all our trips to Italy, we've never paid such a price. 6 euros for a glass of wine, tasteless... 8 euros for a slice of tiramisu, which is good, but still excessive for Italy (they advertise the desserts without seeing the menu). Honestly, I don't recommend it. Go to the Dal Calabrese restaurant instead; we paid half the price the day before, for just as good, if not better!

31/07/2025: Deliciosa comida y vistas espectaculares. Nuestra espera fue muy atenta. Pudimos reservar una mesa a última hora y estaba sentado en la terraza. La comida era un poco caro y podría haber añadido más porciones por el precio que pagas. Tenemos el pollo relleno especial y un plato mixto de mariscos. El marisco estaba frito y no venía con ningún lado, así que todavía me quedé con hambre con la pequeña porción servida.

30/07/2025: This cafe has a fantastic view of the sea and the coast, and is a perfect location. Sadly the service set up was not good. A waitress came to our table to take our order, but we asked for just one more minute of time to choose our orders as we were still deciding. 20 minutes later the waitress had still not come back and was instead cleaning tables. The restaurant was not busy either, although there were a number of tables full of customers who did not have any food or drinks (perhaps they were still also waiting). We gained the waitress’s attention and asked if we could make our order and the waitress nodded, then went off into the restaurant. Ten minutes later, she was cleaning tables again and ignoring us, so we left. I understand that different cultures have different etiquette in relation to whether table service is offered or not, however, it simply was not clear in this establishment, and the lack of communication made for a very poor experience. Sadly, I would not recommend or return to this restaurant.

08/03/2026: Amazing outdoor seating area near the beach. Served excellent coffee. It’s a perfect place to enjoy sunset with wine 🍷 or coffee. Food was pricey and average.

20/10/2025: Not wanting to go to a restaurant, we decided to grab a quick bite, so we did! The display case wasn't very inviting, but we tried it anyway. We spent 36 euros, and we almost emptied the counter, especially since it was late at 9:30 PM. We asked for everything to be reheated. When we started eating, the food was hard and barely warm! (Of course, we put it in the microwave). Thanks, but we won't be back. Then we wanted to sit down, but we didn't know it had a different price (two of them came to tell us we couldn't and we had to pay something extra). For God's sake, we didn't want to steal your chairs. But the Coke was cold.

14/08/2025: LOOKS GREAT ! My wife and I were back in beautiful Salerno for 6 days....our fav place in Italy. Apart from all the fabulous restaurants, cafes, espresso bars and gelato shops the beauty of Salerno is it's walkability factor. On Saturday we walked from our apartment on Corso Vittorio Emanuele to Bar Rosa al Corso for delicious mid morning cappuccinos. Directly across the mall we saw this sandwich shop and decided to have a peek inside. Lots of amazing looking fresh made sandwiches & more to go. No seating inside but plenty on the covered outdoor dining area. I bought a bottle of spring water and put this spot on our list for future reference. IT'S ALL GOOD !

07/11/2025: The croissant was very bad, coffee good but extremely overpriced. Shocking prices! Avoid.

06/11/2025: The waiter is rude, they misrepresent the prices, the staff is arrogant, and the food is very mediocre considering the exorbitant prices. Be warned, they charge 5 euros for service, if not more, and they don't disclose this directly. I honestly wouldn't recommend it; I leave the place with a bad taste in my mouth and feeling simply cheated by the incompetence of the people working there.

22/08/2025: A casual place in a beautiful location. The food is simple but good, especially the tuna and onion pizza. Prices are average.

21/08/2025: I'm on vacation at the Sirenella Hotel in Lacco Ameno and I find it to be an enchanting place. I was welcomed by the owners with such hospitality and kindness, they make you feel at home. They are exceptionally friendly. I've found a place where I can truly relax and spend my days by the beautiful sea and enjoying excellent food. The hotel is on the sea with its own private beach, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. I can only speak highly of this place. And if anyone asks me where I'll go on vacation next year, it's the Sirenella. They have everything you need for true relaxation. Thank you for your hospitality.

23/02/2026: The service was nice but the food was bad

16/02/2026: We feel a sense of achievement to have found possibly the worst trattoria in Italy!! Just awful food, virtually inedible, the service was just ok but not over friendly by any means, they seemed annoyed that we couldn't eat their food even though we still said we'd pay for it! Almost laughable how bad the food was but you live & learn. We couldn't get out fast enough!

03/01/2026: They try to rip you off. We had two beers outside, without any complimentary nuts. They charged us €12, and when we told them the menu said €5, they said it was the cover charge. What cover charge? And when we complained, they said, "Haven't you been to the bathroom?" No, we hadn't. So, they're out to get tourists.

01/03/2026: We went to dinner at this restaurant last night: terrible food, wine and water uncorked and probably recycled. I've never had such a bad meal in Naples! The owner was very rude, even to his only, otherwise very good, waiter. Absolutely not recommended ⛔️

08/02/2026: I won't deny that I was a little scared by some of the reviews... but I have to say the service was excellent. The fried food was light, and you could tell the oil was new and not endlessly reused like in some places. The scialatelli with delicious baby octopus was also excellent. Let's just say that the babba...should be made differently...with rum. The absolute highlight was the singing entertainment, which entertained us and entertained us with Neapolitan songs and the typical Neapolitan spirit. We'll be back.

15/02/2026: I don't understand why it has such a low rating. The sfogliatelle is delicious and crispy. The maritozzo is fresh and mild. The cappuccino is creamy. All this in a magnificent gallery setting, Baroque style, with impeccable service.

15/02/2026: Beautiful place for a drink. We had Prosecco and was given a selection of snacks. It was noisy but still a nice place to sit

23/09/2025: Yes, we were swayed inside by the owner standing in the street, but I wasn’t the least bit disappointed in our choice. The tagliatelle d’Ischia was delicious, and our waitress was attentive. Grazie mille!

19/09/2025: Please don't go. Table booked, they only bring the menu after a good half hour... Forgetting water and bread. From 8:45 PM we ate (??) To 10:50 PM!!! For a fried calamari and shrimp dish and two shrimp cocktails and a mineral water!! Excessively priced for the quality and quantity... Avoid!!!!

17/11/2025: Unfortunately, we made the mistake of not asking about the prices beforehand – they weren't displayed anywhere. We also had to wait a very long time for service. We were initially charged €20 for two 0.33-liter beers. Only after I inquired was the amount reduced to €12. The items on the bill were incomprehensible. Overall, it seems like a rip-off to me.

10/11/2025: The classic tourist trap that ruins Italy's image. No prices displayed (creative strategy, I imagine). Two takeaway coffees + a day-old sandwich: €15. Not an Italian tradition, but a tradition of ripping off tourists. Italy deserves better. Tourists too.

02/03/2026: We're from out of town, and we decide to get two separate trays of sfogliatelle to take away: when we got home, one was missing from each. Two out of two isn't a coincidence, but a habit to rip off those who are passing by. Count the pieces in front of them because they're being sneaky. Never again.
