10/11/2025: The atmosphere is absolutely welcoming, and the people are all incredibly kind. When you walk in, you'll want to buy everything. We even decided to have lunch there, and we were absolutely satisfied. Quality products and absolutely fair prices. Congratulations, you guys are a great place. Keep it up!

02/11/2025: Beware of the young saleswoman. She tried to overcharge us by pressing down on the scale to weigh sausages that were already priced! I took a pork sausage and a wild boar sausage and gave them to her. I saw her put them on the scale and casually rest her hand on them in the corner. At first, I thought, "She doesn't understand anything. She doesn't know how to do this." I could see that there was no fixed price she was getting, obviously, and then she came out with an astronomical price of €44 for the two sausages! I said, "Oh no, at that price, of course I'm not buying them!" We put them back in the basket. I grabbed two more from the side and realized that the prices were already fixed on each sausage, which had already been weighed! They were already €11 and €13, which is an astronomical price for the size of these sausages, which, to make matters worse, weren't even local! Too fatty, too salty, and not made in the valley! So, a double rip-off. In short, beware, it's a tourist trap!!! And the saleswoman clearly thinks you're an idiot... I don't recommend this place. You'll find better, cheaper, and more honest options elsewhere...

12/12/2025: I returned after 10 years and the quality of the pizza hasn't changed. The staff is top notch.

07/12/2025: We waited a long time for our order, over 30 minutes, people who came after us had already received their order, they brought me something different than what I ordered... it's a shame to write such a review, the place looked very nice, the interior was interesting, but the staff is ignorant, the work is not organized, the toilets are not closed

02/09/2025: We were looking for a local panini on the beach and found it at Samy's. It was rich with mozzarella, tomato, ham, arugula, and parmesan, and it was divine.

13/04/2025: Sono stata con il mio ragazzo in questo ristorante in una giornata bella di sole. L’accoglienza da parte del cameriere in sala è stata eccellente. La proprietaria che ci ha preso le comande è stata disponibilissima e ci ha consigliato un dentice con patate, nocciole e limone che è stato di nostro gradimento. Il vino di Marisa Cuomo ha fatto sì che il nostro pranzo fosse ancora di più super. Ci ritorneremo al più presto a pranzo sicuramente.

29/03/2025: He disfrutado de una comida riquísima. Pedí pescado a la parrilla con ensalada y una copa de vino. Ha estado increíblemente rico. María que me atendió es una persona muy amable y recomiendo este lugar muchísimo si están en vietri sul mare.

15/11/2025: It was the first time we had a terrible meal in Ischia. The wait was incredibly long, the menu items were unavailable, the pizza dough was obviously frozen, the prices were outrageous, and worst of all, the owner said, "There's no point in complaining; we're the only place open."

15/11/2025: The waiter tricked me into a double portion. He didn't blink an eye, he was very friendly, the view was beautiful, but the price on the bill was also double :(

24/09/2025: Our experience at this restaurant was overshadowed by what felt like an unfair practice. We chose the tasting menu, which cost around €370 in total. When it came to selecting the wine, we trusted the staff’s recommendation, expecting something balanced and in line with the meal. However, the suggested bottle ended up costing €400 — more expensive than the entire food itself. At a restaurant of this level, there should be full transparency, especially when staff are making recommendations. Guests should always be made aware of the price range before such an expensive bottle is served. This left us with the impression of abuse and a lack of care towards the customer. The food was fine, but the way the wine was handled completely ruined the experience.

19/03/2025: We stopped there by chance. The location is quiet, and invites you to relax, far from the seaside crowds. The dishes are delicious, the limonata and especially the liguine al limone, a specialty of the Amalfi Coast. Dessert is a lemon specialty that is as good as it is surprising. We had a lovely time!

15/11/2024: Failure! Very expensive, and the portions are small and miserable. "Salad" is simply pieces of lettuce. The prices are completely inadequate to the quantity and quality of the dishes. I advise against it. Watch this place. I don't give one star just because the taste of the dishes was ok and we didn't get any poisoning.

07/10/2025: Worst food I had in Italy in 10 days. Very flavorless and overpriced. Don't get fooled by the views. Pasta with eggplants, tomatoes and fish was flavorless. Pasta was not cooked and was cold.

04/08/2025: Un’esperienza che lascia il segno, sotto ogni punto di vista. Locale curato ma non pretenzioso, servizio impeccabile e piatti che parlano da soli. Ogni portata è pensata nei minimi dettagli, sia nei sapori che nella presentazione. Alcuni abbinamenti mi hanno davvero sorpresa e anche quello che di solito non scelgo volentieri, qui l’ho apprezzato fino in fondo. Ho scelto il menù degustazione a cura dello chef e lo rifarei altre mille volte: un viaggio tra sapori netti, eleganti, mai forzati. Ottimi anche i dolci e l’abbinamento con i vini. Difficile da dimenticare, di quei posti in cui torni volentieri anche solo per rivivere certe emozioni. Alla prossima!!!

03/08/2025: Sono entrata con aspettative altissime e sono uscita super soddisfatta. Cibo e abbinamenti super originali, tutto davvero buonissimo. Ero un po’ scettica su certi ingredienti, ma al primo assaggio mi sono ricreduta. Ho preso il menù di terra, gli altri quello di mare: tutti entusiasti. I tortelli? Da sogno letteralmente. Personale gentilissimo e atmosfera top. Esperienza fantastica, da ripete il prima possibile!

14/10/2025: Fontelina was once a must-visit, but the experience has declined significantly - especially for non-Italian visitors. Service is minimal at best; you’ll find yourself chasing staff for basic requests, only to be asked for a tip afterward. With so many better beach clubs on Capri now, this one no longer earns a spot in the top 3.

11/10/2025: If you enjoy being overcharged for mediocre food and ignored by staff, this is your spot. Otherwise, save your money and your day — go literally anywhere else on Capri. La Fontelina is exactly as others have said: beautiful setting, terrible everything else. The service is practically nonexistent unless you chase someone down, and even then, it’s indifferent at best. From the moment I arrived, I wanted to leave — but I was already nearly €100 in for various cover charges and “fees.” Despite having a reservation for the “beach club,” they make you eat lunch at the restaurant, where they tack on another €6 “cover” per person on top of the €50 for general access — for what, exactly, is unclear. The food was disappointing: overcooked shrimp, bland ravioli I could make better myself, and overpriced drinks. Then come the endless extras — you pay separately for the chair, the towel, the mat, even the boat shuttle. Would not recommend.

24/09/2025: Ate at the restaurant here. Had the best raviolis ever in my life. Stopped here from our private boat tour from Sorrento. Fabulous. Service was amazing. Really expensive. You really start to see the prices go up the closer you get to Capri and positano. Worth the spend but most likely wouldn’t stay here.

22/09/2025: staff very rude, went on a boat trip day here and felt forced to eat. staff told us if we wasn’t to eat it would require €100 per person to access capri town which now we have found out this is a lie. they were very shocked none of me or my friends liked fish food and was extremely rude and looked down their nose at us, especially the man in the grey blazer with grey hair, mocked our accent and made us feel very little, we left without ordering as we felt trapped and very unsafe - do not recconmend

10/11/2025: The most surreal experience of my trip to Naples. It was raining heavily, and since we had an early flight the next day, we decided to grab some dinner there so we could go to bed early. The food was poor quality and the service was lacking. When we asked for the bill, the waiter said the card machine wasn't working and took my husband in the car to the ATM 😅. An hour later, they returned. The first ATM wasn't working, so they went to another one. They got back in the car, and it turned out it was out of gas. The waiter asked my husband for €5, and when they finally got gas, the battery died 😂. They had to push the car (the waiter must have been around 70 years old), and it wouldn't start. They called the restaurant, and another gentleman came to help them. An hour later, my husband returned with the waiter, we paid the bill (€120), and they gave us a complimentary limoncello. The story is true 🤣. If you want to have a fun night out and get a scenic drive around Naples (a bit pricey, though), you can go.
