this was a busy lunchtime spot, and a treasure to find after walking around Pompeii.
It has a family run restaurant feel which is so sweet with the Nona at the cash desk at the back do the additions by hand...
Super to see all ages of the family involved in this business,
they were very eager to please everyone.
Food was great, I highly recommend this restaturant.

Lovely romantic place with amazing food. We had lasagna, spaghetti bolognese and spaghetti seafood and local red wine. Everything was so delicious! Real Italian food. And we love owners, caring and kind. Prices are also good and reasonable

It seems to be a family-run restaurant; older locals come for lunch during the week.
It was simple and unpretentious, just good and inexpensive. Ravioli, breaded escalope, fries, and a very basic salad. In May, on a weekday, and arriving around 11:30 am, it was very good.

This restaurant now seems to be called Da Salvatore. If we had read the reviews we wouldn’t have gone near it, but we had a great experience here. The food was excellent as was the wine, and the service was really good. Fabulous value for money too. We sat outside and the view of the basilica was fabulous! Maybe they’re under new ownership? Anyway, we loved it.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. After we ordered, I checked the Google reviews and was shocked. I don't understand how it got such bad reviews. To make that clear, 5 stars!
Yes, I've eaten better elsewhere, but the people here are really nice, the food is good, and the price is fair.
Everything is clean and tidy, and who cares if the restroom is next door!?

For a tourist site like Pompeii, which is very popular, this is a welcoming restaurant where you are served traditional and tasty cuisine; they don't pressure you to buy more, and you can have a meal starting from €15.00.

Amazing find. No pressure to enter and really welcoming when you do. Food feels homely. Service feels personal. Ignore the low score. This is a great place.
