07/01/2025: Large venue, with table layout that respects the current distancing rules, welcoming staff, excellent food, try one of the "gnocco" menus... So good to take it away!!! I returned after a long time being a foreigner, I can only add a few but excellent words (Welcome Food Service Environment) especially for the "Gnocco"

13/11/2024: For work I organize, once a year, a very large event, which attracts many people from all over Italy to Pescara. I have been collaborating with Casa Flaiano for 2 years now and I will never stop. All my guests ask me to eat at their place, and if they have already been there they want to come back! The food is exquisite (also for vegetarians/vegans and celiacs), the wine list is infinite and curated, the atmosphere of the place is enveloping and comfortable. Riccardo and Rossella have a professionalism, skill and courtesy that are unmatched. There is no request that they cannot satisfy and always perfectly. Attention to detail, dedication, kindness, professionalism and lots and lots of good food. I recommend Casa Flaiano with all my heart!

03/12/2024: Unforgettable evening with colleagues, quiet environment, well looked after with tables spaced apart respecting distances so as not to seem like a self service like many others, the owner is super welcoming and very good, after explaining the dishes of the day you already feel full😂 but you can't see time to try them, excellent restaurateur, impeccable dishes, both traditional revisited and homemade, from the appetizer to the dessert you're sorry to finish it and already here you realize what eat😋SUPER RECOMMENDED👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

02/12/2024: We were a table of 6 the bill was over 300 euros, they charged me 34 euros for a medium sized steak. The house wine is 15 euros a bottle. Nice place but very expensive.

26/09/2024: I went with a dear friend and I had a great time. In the dining room we are greeted by the chef's girl who puts you at ease. The food is spectacular and of high quality. The chef suggested wine which I loved. If you are in Penne absolutely worth a try.

24/12/2024: This year, returning to Pescara for Christmas (after 20 years away), also meant one thing for me: a real fish soup. I had heard a thousand rumors about La Murena: "If he likes you, you eat like God, if not, you make do." And instead: perfect experience. A young waiter, with rare sincerity, stopped us immediately when we asked for a hot-cold appetizer and two fish broths, advising us to only take an appetizer and a broth. We ate everything without waste and without bursting (and there was also some broth left over for tomorrow). The broth and also all the cold and hot appetizers were crazy. Fresh, fragrant, tasty fish, with a sauce that makes you want to drink directly from the plate. And this applies to everything: authentic dishes, without frills, without that fake elegance of a "cool Michelin" restaurant. The staff is genuine, direct, never intrusive. Here the fish is the absolute protagonist and you can feel it. So, if you are looking for sincere cuisine, done well and without mockery, La Murena is the right place. Highly recommended.

23/12/2024: I went there for lunch with my sister; we both had SERIOUS FOOD POISONING due to the very poor quality of the fish served (or the method of preserving the fish). Absolutely not worth even one star, avoid!

27/12/2024: Christmas lunch for two, excellent food, with a version of the dishes for lactose intolerants like me; starter, 3 first courses and 2 second courses, excellent taste and not at all salty food. The best was the broth and the grilled lamb which were taken away at my request. They respect the tradition of the area and the authenticity of the raw materials! 23/12/2024: Despite being from Pescara, I discovered Osteria Firenze - Sapori d'Arte almost by chance. Very welcoming place with a beautiful window that gives the visitor a glimpse of a well-kept and welcoming room. I was able to enjoy a genuine dinner with a taste of home, but where all the flavors and combinations were combined with care and attention. I had a trio of really tasty local appetizers, but the excellence came with the Pallotte Cac'e Ov dish, delicious and tasty, truly the best proposal in the city. Stefano the chef came into the room to greet me and the other guests, enriching an evening that was in itself magical with an extra pinch of humanity.

16/11/2024: Not being a great frequenter of restaurants, where now, for a simple dinner with family or friends, you almost have to take out a mortgage, this is one of the places where I go more carefree and frequently, if I can, because I am sure of the goodness and authenticity of the food served and the honesty of the prices, indeed, often if one knows how to choose, thanks also to the generous portions served, one is amazed, in a positive way, at the lightness of the bill, which in any case is always very honest to the point that inflation and the wild increases seem to have not stopped. It is now a historic place, family-run by professional people and this explains the goodness of the food, in the simplicity of the composition of the menu, of which, honorable mention goes to the "Pennette alla centerba": a dish to choose from, even for dinner, if you go, because it deserves to be tried, indeed, for me Pallant is synonymous with this dish because if I go there I order it! The place is always kept tidy and very well looked after in terms of cleanliness and the location is also suitable for those who are not from the area and want to escape from the chaos of the city for a healthy trip out of town. It is useless, I think, to spend further words of appreciation: seeing is believing! 5 stars🌟⭐⭐⭐⭐ more than deserved.

05/11/2024: Went without high expectations as I needed to eat in the area...instead the service was friendly and efficient. Cleanliness of the room impeccable. Excellent food and very reasonable prices. I particularly appreciated the lemon guitar, the penne alla centerba and the roast. The homemade desserts are also very good. Since I accidentally appreciated it, I go back often with my family.
