13/03/2026: I didn't stay overnight; I'm reviewing the restaurant. The location is ugly, on the highway, and the place is decidedly old-fashioned. The seafood dishes, however, are very good. I haven't tried the pasta dishes (which I will), but aside from the mussels, you can taste the quality and freshness of the catch in everything you eat. Be careful with portions, because while prices are generally average for the season, you should keep in mind that a single portion (of anything) can feed at least two people. So, if you plan ahead when you order, the value for money becomes truly exceptional.

28/02/2026: Every time we pass through Fano we stop at Rustita, a guarantee for eating fish from appetizers to first and second courses. The atmosphere is classic seafood restaurant, very rustic but clean, the service excellent, everyone super cheerful. Excellent quality and price, book in advance, you won't regret it.

The grilled meat is cooked to perfection, and their carbonara is out of this world, both in its enormous portion and its flavor. The owner is a key figure, and you absolutely have to get to know him. Overall, the food was good (the gnocchi with rib ragù and the meats were excellent, but unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed by the creamy pasta dish and the extremely salty side dishes). The service and atmosphere were good, everyone was very friendly, but unfortunately, the second half of the meal was a bit slow (all the side dishes came out right away, but the meat took a long time to arrive, so we had to eat both at different times). Good coffee. If it helps, cell phone/internet reception is poor to non-existent. The location is lovely and surrounded by nature. Easy parking. We paid €50 each. See you next time.

We ordered two tasting boards (the usual cured meats and cheeses, a frittata, and a frittino) and were told we had to wait an hour for this😱 (what's so special about it? Nothing, we've seen it served). We gave up and went straight to the mixed grill on the menu, which also includes chicken. We ordered two, asking them to remove the chicken. The answer: "Oh, you can't!" 🤔. I wonder why? How are you doing? Are we sure you have any experience in the restaurant business? I'd say no. If you can't handle the number of people, forget it! Service isn't judged by how many glasses you change (a lot for a red and a sparkling white, but no stars) but by how you serve. Learn to smile and be more polite (maybe even pretend to be polite), because if you eat decently or make mistakes, we'll just let it go! His answer reflects your expertise. Congratulations! The father's traditional cuisine has been combined with the son's fresh touch, resulting in high-quality dishes with an innovative, youthful, and even crazy twist. Quality ingredients, sometimes perhaps overly flavorful, are used. Generous portions. Prices reflect the quality. Plenty of parking, but in the summer you'll have to walk around a bit to find it. Good wine selection. Expect creativity and friendliness, and a refined and elegant atmosphere.

01/03/2026: I visited Il Gattopardo Restaurant, and overall the experience was positive. The restaurant is in a somewhat secluded location, not immediately visible, but once inside, you discover a refined and well-structured environment. The restaurant is spread over two levels, a room on the main floor and a smaller room on the lower level. Both are intimate and well-organized. The spaces are well-managed, creating an intimate and pleasant atmosphere. The decor is simple but neat, with a sober yet elegant style. As for the food, the portions are generous and satisfying. The dishes are well-presented and overall enjoyable. However, I found the first courses to be rather rich in seasoning: the olive oil, in particular, was very present. Everything was good, but without any particular elements of originality that markedly set it apart. Ultimately, it's a restaurant where you eat quite well and leave feeling full, ideal for a quiet meal, even if it lacks that detail that makes it truly memorable.
