The only real drawback is that the bathroom is located in the basement and can only be reached via a completely enclosed and extremely slow elevator, which is terribly claustrophobic. Customers should be warned of this inconvenience before ordering.

09/12/2025: I've been going to this place for breakfast for many years. Although I've moved away for work, every time I return to Cupra Marittima, I can't miss my usual breakfast stop. Excellent pastries, attentive service, and despite the familiar atmosphere, it always has something new to offer. Excellent for appetizers and tasty treats. Located along the main road, it offers a convenient and safe parking area. Highly recommended.

10/05/2026: The food impressed us in every way. The tagliata di tonno was divine, the frittura mista was crispy, fresh, and surprisingly light. The wine was a perfect match. The service was very friendly; we arrived late for lunch and were still served. The owner is a true host – warm, attentive, and incredibly personable.

The appetizers are delicious, and the first courses feature unique recipes, though not always entirely convincing. The only major drawback is the cost of parking, which is independent of the business. Parking costs over €5 for a dinner are a penalty for any business.

The strong point is undoubtedly the quality-price ratio, which is truly hard to beat in the area: generous portions, fresh ingredients, and carefully prepared dishes, all at more than fair prices. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, ideal for both a dinner with friends and a relaxing evening by the sea. A special mention goes to the owner, Alfredo, always present, kind, and professional: he knows how to put guests at ease and helps create a family atmosphere that makes them want to return. A sincere place, where you eat well, spend a fair amount, and always feel welcome. Highly recommended.

01/05/2026: Some friends and I enjoyed a May Day lunch with a set menu. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the food; everything was truly delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully served. The location is small but very welcoming, and it's definitely more inviting in the summer months. The value for the menu was truly excellent. Special mention goes to the kind Lorenzo, a waiter who went above and beyond: super helpful, polite, and above all, friendly, he was a wonderful companion throughout the lunch.

When served, the octopus didn't appear fresh and had a strong, unpleasant fishy odor. Furthermore, the dish was extremely salty and therefore unpleasant to eat. We therefore refused the dish and returned it. Instead of offering a suitable solution, we were told that the octopus needed to be "cooked more." For us, this didn't address the issue of freshness and quality. My wife also received a dish with mozzarella that, in our opinion, wasn't fresh. What immediately struck us was the manner in which it was served: the dish was rudely thrown onto the table, with a fork already stuck in the mozzarella. We found this behavior very disrespectful, strange, and unprofessional. Furthermore, the mozzarella didn't taste fresh. In the end, we didn't have to pay for the octopus dish, which was handled correctly. However, this doesn't change our overall impression of the restaurant. Both the quality of the food and the way our complaints were handled did not meet the expectations one might have from a restaurant. Our advice: avoid this restaurant. In our experience, insufficient attention is paid to the quality and freshness of the products and there is a lack of respect for the customer. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.
