25/07/2024: Good pizza! But I have had better ones in Italy.

07/07/2024: We went to the Foglia d'Oro restaurant on a Sunday evening in early July. Very good pizza as well as the skewer and vegetables. The service left us a little perplexed; a boy who was training another filmed him several times, raising his voice in front of all the customers.

16/06/2024: Nice hotel in a central area with everything you need. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the room. The bathroom was large enough, had toiletries and plenty of towels. The room is a little outdated in regard to USB charging but that's the only thing we missed. There was a possibility to use a power plug with the right adapter. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of fruits, yogurts, cold cuts, cereal and pastries. You can order your coffee at the bar in the breakfast area and you get anything you want like cappuccino etc.

16/06/2024: Initial surprise: you have to make your own bed... which comes with the top sheet folded neatly and then spread out together with any blankets... thank goodness there were two of us! Room with external entrance, in case of rain, and we had it, you get wet! Breakfast with poor quality products, and the desserts... especially the tarts terrible! Very small lobby/reception, no room/lounge to take refuge in

28/06/2024: 4 km sopra Tirano, si trova questa bella osteria con vista sulla valle sottostante. Piatti ottimamente cucinati della cucina valtellinese, come Sciatt e Pizzoccheri, oltre a svariati piatti anche di pesce di mare. Vini al bicchiere di ottima qualità, come il Prosecco Valdobbiadene ed il Lugana degustati. Servizio e mise en place all'altezza. Prezzi ragionevoli. Un posto dove torneremo certamente.

19/06/2024: Cena con amici, per noi la seconda volta in questo locale. Luogo bello con una vista spettacolare nella notte sulla Valle e Tirano. Questa volta non siamo stati proprio soddisfatti e perché: Tagliatelle alle vongole (vongole dal cattivo sapore e odore), 1 dolce di biscotti con panna dal sapore acido (probabilmente la prima uscita dal distributore) Il resto è cioè chi antipasto chi primo o secondi buoni. Da segnalare che è stata comunicata la problematica delle tagliatelle e per tale non sono state messe nel conto senza discussioni (ottimo). Servizio nella media e conto nella media.

21/02/2024: Very nice staff, despite the language barrier, we managed to come to an agreement and buy everything we needed.

11/02/2024: Ho acquistato dei dolci, mentre la signora mi serviva, parlava con altre persone e non mi ha praticamente mai guardata in faccia.

29/06/2024: Small place in the square of the church of the Madonna di Tirano. 3 cappuccinos and a coffee (burnt among other things) almost €8. A cappuccino €2, come on we weren't even in Piazza del Duomo in Florence or Milan. Terrible value for money. Not recommended

25/06/2024: Usual breakfast passing through Tirano Quick and kind. I also recommend it for the view of the church and the convenient location. Parking very close to the bar

26/08/2024: Poor food, little choice and prices the same as other all you can eat sushi restaurants which are 100 times better than this restaurant.

15/08/2024: You pay a lot for what you eat, the food is not that good.

22/08/2024: the food (pizzoccheri) is normal, but the price of everything is decidedly excessive You pay a cover charge of €3 per person by eating on the classic paper placemat... when nearby restaurants at the same price for the food ask for €2 per cover with laundry table linen. If there are 4 of you you pay €12... for four paper placemats..... a really smart job.... I definitely won't go back

20/08/2024: everything was delicious... we ate the pizzoccheri, I recommend them... platter of cold cuts and cheeses... excellent wine, fabulous desserts. excellent service. about 30 euros each... but it's worth it... the place is very, very nice
