27/10/2025: Very elegant, with truly courteous service and quality dishes, it could be called a bistro but is actually a refined and complete establishment. A wonderful discovery.

26/10/2025: I had lunch with a friend, ordering "La Bistecca" (grilled entrecôte with café de Paris and pommes frites). I received a very small portion, consisting of the "bottom" of the cut, cooked medium, even though I had requested rare. Thinking it was gourmet, I didn't say anything, even though it seemed strange. But shortly thereafter, I saw the same dish arrive at the next table: the right portion and the right cut of entrecôte. It's a shame, because the flavor was good, but the difference in treatment between the tables really leaves a bad impression. I don't recommend it.

17/06/2025: We went to this restaurant for an all you can eat. The food was good and the dishes were well-prepared, but overall nothing particularly special or different from many other similar places. The bill was exaggerated: €85 for two for an all you can eat (€35 each), a bottle of water, a beer and an extra small dish to take away. For that price I expected a much better experience. The service and atmosphere were average. I don't completely recommend it, but I personally don't know if I would go back.

26/10/2025: I arrived on a late train and saw that they were open until 11:00pm. I arrived at 10:05pm and the restaurant was empty. I asked if their kitchen was still open. They said it was. I thanked them. Everyone working there glared at me as I was sat. The waiter walked up and as he handed me the menu, without any other greeting, said “you have 15 minutes” then proceeded to stand next to me until I ordered. He came back briefly to literally THROW a bag (yes, a bag, not a basket, not a plate) of stale bread at me. I was promptly served microwaved lasagna that was too hard around the edges to eat. This, along with a small salad and one glass of wine, cost me 30€. I was, in fact, out of there in less than 15 minutes. Here’s an idea: if you aren’t open till 11, don’t say you’re open till 11. The one friendly moment was the chef (I believe) came out of the kitchen and wished me a good evening and bon apatite.

13/07/2025: Disappointing experience, unacceptable service We went to this restaurant for a Sunday family lunch. The typical Valtellina dishes—pizzoccheri and tagliatelle with ragù—were good, but unfortunately, that was the only positive note. The service was truly inadequate. We asked for still water for the children three times: all the other drinks arrived immediately, but the water wasn't served until we'd already finished the first course. Unacceptable. We ordered the house wine, but it was undrinkable. At that point, we asked for the only alternative available, a Chianti. The waiter brought it to us, asking if it was correct because—and he quoted him—he didn't know if Chianti was a red or white wine. It was embarrassing. The wine was drinkable, but of very poor quality. For our second course, we ordered a "steak," supposedly beef, but it was tough, sinewy, and difficult to eat. Ultimately, the bill was far too high for the quality of the service and food. We won't be back and we don't feel comfortable recommending it to anyone.

19/09/2025: I didn't have much time before the Bernina Express, so I decided to grab something equally fast. I ended up here and recommend it to everyone. Great pizza, fresh from the oven!

12/10/2025: It would be unfair to rate this hotel only three stars just because it’s officially a three-star hotel — it truly serves its purpose perfectly. It’s located right next to the train station and the Bernina Express, which was exactly the reason we stayed here. All in all, a five-star experience in my opinion for doing exactly what it’s meant to do.

02/10/2025: Experience only at the restaurant and it was horrible, rude waitress, everything was expensive, the food was cold, I ordered one dish and they served me another.

12/09/2025: Passing by on a motorcycle tour, we stopped for a quick aperitif before heading to lunch. The charcuterie board they brought with our drinks was delicious. Fast service.

06/10/2025: My mother got food poisoning from the disgusting industrial lasagna we ate there. For an Italian restaurant, they managed to make some of the best cuisine in the world disgusting. It almost did. As for us, we were treated to equally disgusting pasta and a pizza straight out of a low-end supermarket. It's a shame, the setting and the service were good. But I have to give it the lowest rating because it was truly disgusting and my mother ended up throwing up for her birthday present! I thank you, no!

04/10/2025: Discovered as we left the Bernina Express: very affordable prices (10 euros for pasta), fast service, and a lovely garden. The restrooms need updating. Go early, as they quickly become overwhelmed with tourists. A few words in Italian with a smile, and everything's fine.

31/08/2025: So glad we didn’t listen to the bad reviews - honestly one of the best all you can eat buffets in general at this price point! The salt and pepper shrimp was a standout and the sushi also was so fresh and yum!

06/10/2025: I honestly admit that the place "didn't look good", the staff messed up the order, or more precisely, they didn't give us one of the pizzas we ordered and paid for, but we managed to "argue" it out, which doesn't change the fact that the pizza was amazingly good :) WOW
