A very warm welcome on a quiet terrace. They were even able to make me the regional specialty, pizzocheri, in a vegan version.

This place is special. We enjoyed a superb dinner here. We sat outside in the square, the food was delicious and beautifully prepared & presented and, of course, impeccably served. Just a lovely relaxing evening in a beautiful spot with great food and wine.

Even if it's late, a good review was needed. Photos taken in January 2022. It's a great place to enjoy a quiet, elegant dinner without going overboard. A great place to recommend!

I highly recomend this place if you you're looking to have a dinner with your SO. Food is great, but what made me give it 5 stars is beautiful location and spotless service. Great especially for wine lovers.

We visited this restaurant on our trips to and from Swiss, and we thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered. The prices were very reasonable, the service was outstanding, and the food was authentic and delicious. The restaurant is located about three blocks from the train station, making it an easy and pleasant walk. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent, authentic Italian cuisine.

Fantastic, the filetto di maialino with taroz was especially great; I have to say this is some of the best food I've eaten in Valtellina, in all of Italy infact. From antipasto (sciatt, also great) to dessert (creme brulee with mandarin and ginger) The service was super, quite attentive and polite, and the traditional food served in such a nice quiet spot really enhanced it all. Absolutely will come back here next time I'm in Tirano.

04/06/2026: I regularly visit the Crap restaurant when I visit the valley, and I'm always delighted by the excellent cuisine, which draws on Valtellina tradition, and the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. The dining rooms are spacious, yet there's a welcoming atmosphere and great attention to detail. There's not a huge variety, but the dishes are interesting and unique: both meat and seafood, good pizzas, and superb desserts. The traditional braulio sorbet at the end of the meal is a must. Excellent value. Highly recommended!
