03/07/2026: I'm forced to partially edit my review from a few months ago, removing one star, because yesterday I returned to eat at Il Mulino with my lawyer and great friend, a friend of his, and my wife. My wife and I weren't particularly pleased with the food: I had a good and original vegetarian tartare, followed by tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms that weren't very flavorful; my wife ordered veal tonné, which used lean meat, but the tuna sauce wasn't very flavorful, and there wasn't much. When she asked for more, she was told it was "out of stock." If I remember correctly, in December 2025, again on the recommendation of my lawyer (a great gourmet and friend), I ate at this restaurant not only with my wife, but also with my brother and his family, my guests. They serve some Lombard dishes, which I'm not particularly fond of, even though I'm from Milan; but I found some things on the menu that I liked. We had a wonderful time in a unique setting (a former farmhouse and/or mill). Part of the building is over 100 years old; another part (I believe used for receptions, weddings, etc.), if I understand correctly, is as old as 500. At the back, for the first time, we had a stream, which could truly house a watermill. The place, thanks to its decor, brightness (large windows), and atmosphere, is very pleasant and not particularly noisy. The service was good, with kind, friendly, and fast waitresses. We tried some appetizers, some first courses (my cheese-filled ravioli were very good, with an excellent tomato sauce), and some second courses: nothing disappointed us! Unfortunately, I can no longer drink alcohol, but they seem to have a decent cellar, although my guests tried a house wine, which seemed pleasant. The bill was also absolutely fair (around €40/50 - €55). The only small flaw is that the menu consists of just a few dishes, which guarantees the freshness of the ingredients, but I would have liked to have a little more variety (if possible, even with some fish dishes, which I love). I hope Mulino dei Pini returns to its original state!

13/06/2026: After 10 seasons of nightmare kitchens aired over the years, the first thing that comes to mind is: where is the restaurant? There's no sign; from the outside, you see a brick wall. There's a gate as if entering a house, and once you reach the center of the old mill, very beautiful and characteristic, you can't quite figure out where the restaurant's entrance is! Everything else was perfect: the quality of the food and the service were remarkable. The wait times were normal. I loved the use of rice from Sirtori (local producers).

09/07/2026: What a disappointment! We were there at the end of June, one evening for dinner, four of us. The special pizzas were made with pumpkin, which wasn't exactly in season. We ordered them anyway and waited a long (long!) wait. But while that's acceptable for the pizza, the same wait for the desserts, which arrived still frozen, certainly isn't. The baba with ice crystals inside, in a Neapolitan pizzeria, is offensive to say the least. Add to all this the modestly sized dining room, packed and scorching hot due to the inadequate air conditioning. We didn't spend much, it's true, but that won't convince me to return.

05/07/2026: The pizza was really, really good, light, and made with exquisite ingredients! I really enjoyed the tomato and mozzarella toppings, and the dough was perfect. Excellent value for money. The place is lovely, welcoming, and the staff are helpful and friendly. A must-try.

30/07/2026: 1 star because I can't put 0. The first thing is, the food was all frozen and tasteless. The second thing is, the service was terrible. Within half an hour, they asked us to clear the table. The third thing is, they tell you that the lunch menu is 10 euros and make you pay more. They bring you things without asking.

21/04/2026: We always reserve a table in advance. The hotel is always fully booked during that time. Of course, you should expect a wait. But you have time, after all. We're always very satisfied. The food is delicious. The only thing is, the ambiance could be a bit nicer. The price is really reasonable.

14/12/2025: I got a milkshake at the McDrive, but I had to wait a few minutes because they were cleaning the machine. Considering that some places tell you they're out of stock even if the machine works, I'd say it's great.

11/06/2026: We ate at this restaurant, inside the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, a beautiful, recently renovated location. The food is excellent, offering high-quality dishes and very friendly staff.

07/05/2026: There was a problem with my order, so I left, annoyed, and filed a complaint (I had already paid). The next day, they contacted me and explained the reason for the delay, apologizing and asking me to come back another day. So I did, and they were fair to me.

11/04/2026: I've frequented this bar several times, especially in the evening for aperitivo, and I must say I've always had a great time: the staff is young, polite, and professional, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Unfortunately, the experience changes completely during the day. I've also been here several times for coffee or breakfast, often accompanied by my elderly dog. On hot days, I've asked for a bowl of water for him: the first time without any problems, but the last experience was decidedly unpleasant. The lady serving the tables gave me a rather harsh response, saying they couldn't provide water for the dog "every time" because the bowls (plastic, takeaway) cost money. I politely pointed out that many other bars and restaurants offer reusable bowls for this very purpose—quite the opposite, for example, of the bar/restaurant "La Pergola," which offers aluminum and plastic bowls ready for four-legged guests—but the response was even more unpleasant: I was told to bring my own water next time. An unprofessional and unwelcoming attitude, especially considering it's a simple and common request. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but the daytime management and the lack of attention to customers (and pets) really make a negative difference. Personally, I won't be returning, either for breakfast or aperitif, and I'll also share the experience with other dog owners.

25/06/2026: Not a recommended experience. I leave the place and I'm still hungry despite the high bill. I'm ashamed for them. For three of us it cost more than €80 and it smells like fried food. It's shameful.

22/06/2026: Nothing to say about the food, because the quality isn't bad, but as for the service, it was truly awful. I ordered two pizzas with my girlfriend, a Coke, and a beer... The Coke arrived, but not my beer. The pizzas weren't marked, even though that "nice" waiter spent 10 minutes writing something, snatching the menu from my girlfriend, without asking us anything, without saying hello, and being incredibly rude. After an hour, the pizzas still hadn't arrived. I thank the dining room management who tried to fix the situation, but I saw people arriving after us and leaving early. They won't see me again, and especially not even a discount as a form of compensation. That said, I don't recommend it based on my experience.

16/07/2026: Excellent sushi quality and prices in line with other restaurants. I've been there many times and it never disappoints.

30/05/2026: I had high expectations, but they were dashed upon arrival. The place was empty at 1:14 PM, and only later did we understand why. The soy sauce was bitter, as was the sour teriyaki. The first orders arrived, and the wilde wasn't bad, but much better. The rice was soft, the fish was flavorless, and the carpaccio wasn't from factory farms, but rather from very factory farms at this point. Unfortunately, like any place, it has potential, but as of now, it's not worth the €19.90 all-you-can-eat deal.
