08/02/2026: We celebrated our son's baptism and couldn't have made a better choice! We immediately felt welcomed from the moment we decided on the menu with Elena and Paola, who recommended dishes and, most importantly, accommodated all our needs (including various intolerances and allergies). Despite being about fifty people, the service was impeccable, both in terms of timing (we all ate at the same time) and the quality of the food, which was very high and delicious! The food was truly delicious! We had the largest room completely to ourselves, with two tables for confetti, favors, and the cutting of the cake! The staff was friendly and helpful, ready to accommodate requests and do their best to fulfill them. Highly recommended for events of this type and more!! We'll be back soon 🥰

10/02/2026: A restaurant in the center of Lodi, serving local cuisine with a touch of seafood. A welcoming atmosphere and discreet but attentive staff. If I had to make a comment, it's a bit too much bread in the gratin shellfish. Other dishes were excellent. The flavors were bold. Unfortunately, the price is currently in line with the area. As a customer, you always hope for a discount on the menu.

12/03/2026: Sunday lunch, everything was excellent. The cured meats for the appetizer, calamarata with raspadura, braised beef with polenta, and dessert. I found the house white wine to be very good. The service was also excellent, with kindness and friendliness. Since it's March 8th, the complimentary mimosa for the ladies was very nice. If we're ever in the area again, we'll be back.

23/11/2025: Excellent family-run pastry shop. 🥐 Very good brioches filled with custard, cappuccino with brioche for €2.90, everything excellent and very friendly staff. Worth a detour from the Via Emilia for a moment of peace and good cheer.

14/02/2026: Unfortunately, we're forced to give it 4 stars because the service doesn't live up to the menu. There was little attention to customers: we were served after others who arrived after us, the food arrived all at once (appetizer, first course, and second course) and without drinks, so even after we asked, the drinks were served when the food was already cold. However, we must say that we were extremely satisfied with the quality and presentation of the food. The fish was excellent, and overall the food was tasty and particularly carefully crafted. One last "flaw": avoid the desserts; they're all pre-packaged.

12/01/2026: I came with my friends for dinner. I was very pleased with the food, and the atmosphere was very quiet and clean. Kudos also to the waiters, who were very attentive and professional. Highly recommended, the best sushi in Lodi.

03/04/2026: We broke down with the car on the way and were towed to Mura Cars. As a result, we were forced to book a hotel stay and ended up at Hotel Sesmones. What luck! Laura at the reception immediately helped us incredibly kindly and efficiently, and arranged a room where even our road bikes could be stored safely. The next day we had a lot of hassle with our broken car, but then Angelica stepped into action. She called Mura Cars and eventually arranged a rental car for us at Hertz in Lodi. They are truly mega, mega helpful! In addition to the fantastic help, the rooms are super neat and clean, and the food in the restaurant is delicious. Laura and Angelica, you really saved our holiday – a thousand thanks! Highly recommended, worth ten stars! ⸻ Italian: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Abbiamo avuto un problema con la macchina durante il viaggio e siamo stati trainati da Mura Cars. Per questo siamo stati costretti a prenotare una notte in hotel and abbiamo scelto Hotel Sesmones. Che fortune! Laura alla reception ci ha aiutato subito in modo molto gentile ed efficiente, e ci ha assegnato una camera dove le nostre biciclette da corsa potevano stare in sicurezza. Il giorno successivo abbiamo avuto molti problemi con la macchina guasta, ma Angelica è intervenuta. Ha chiamato Mura Cars e alla fine ci ha organizzato un'auto a noleggio da Hertz a Lodi. Sono davvero super, super available! All in all fantastic, the camera is perfect and ordinated in the restaurant and delizioso. Laura e Angelica, avete davvero salvato la nostra vacanza – mille grazie! Assolutamente consigliato, dieci stelle meritate!

22/12/2025: The fog, the trees, the river, a village and its trattoria. Between the clatter of glasses and the steam from a fireplace, everything remains as it once was. Nostalgia stings, but here it doesn't hurt, because ancient flavors and old traditions heal the nostalgia of hometown life that plagues our memories. We are witnessing the last echo of a world gone by, which still lives on in the dishes, in the friendships, among the tables of this tavern, the last bastion of my lowlands.
