22/10/2025: My family and I have been loyal guests for six years now, and we've always been happy to return, at least two or three times a year. The hotel perfectly meets our needs.
Courtesy, cleanliness, efficiency, and professionalism have always been the hallmarks of Hotel Nord Piacenza. Service and management are impeccable and have never disappointed our expectations. The rooms and bathrooms are first-rate, as is the restaurant, ample on-site parking, and 24-hour reception.
The location, very close to the highway exit/entrance, is another plus for us, as we're always passing through. It's also a perfect solution for those with four-legged friends.

16/09/2025: I don't write many reviews, but this time I feel compelled to leave one. The place isn't very visible, but it's worth it!!
The lunch menu is more than excellent value, with generous portions and delicious dishes. My first course was Sardinian gnocchi with pesto and tuna, which were perfect. For my second course, I had a hamburger (full-bodied and flavorful, unlike anything I've had in a long time) with a side of spinach, 1/4 cup of wine, water, and coffee. All this for €13. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms and dining room are clean. I truly recommend it to everyone.
I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area for work.

02/12/2025: As a Neapolitan, I finally say "yes"! Ahhhh, what a delicious pizza! A simple and truly intimate place, the owner is friendly and welcoming, and very cheerful and easy to chat with. The pizza is very good, and we'll definitely be back to try more in other flavors! Highly recommended!

13/11/2025: We had lunch today. The quality was superb, with excellent ingredients, perfectly oriented toward risotto. We also tried the à la carte menu. Excellent customer service. The appetizers, risottos, and dessert were perfect. These were for a business lunch. Fairly priced.

I recommend trying it at least once: you'll definitely want to return.

21/11/2025: €41 for two decent takeout pizzas. An additional €8 for the gluten-free option. The pizza quality is decent, but it doesn't justify the price at all.

The flavors were well-matched and the service was excellent.
The atmosphere was very relaxed and informal.

The cold cuts are good, but not homemade.
The risotto is hospital-style, and I know what I'm talking about since I work there.
The prices are high for what they offer.
I don't recommend it.
07/10/2025: A good restaurant, perhaps a little expensive for a place like Lodi. The set menu is convenient (we ate much less à la carte and spent more). The service was a bit difficult due to the large turnout on the weekend of the ethical photography exhibition.

20/10/2025: A typical Lombard trattoria. Paintings on the walls and a coffered ceiling. In summer, you can eat under the portico. Lunch was excellent; the typical Lombard appetizer, with nervetti, cured meats, giardiniera, polenta with mushrooms and raspadura, was excellent. Then came the main course: risotto with braised beef cheek, truly delicious. For dessert, pears in wine with zabaglione were also perfect. Highly recommended, and I'll be back soon. Cost: €35 per person.
10/07/2025: A welcoming, friendly, and timeless atmosphere, it offers all the flavors of the three neighboring regions: Lodi, Crema, and Piacenza.
In the dining room, the slightly high tables, paired with dark wood chairs, add a touch of class while showcasing simple, traditional lines.
A period fireplace dominates the center of a long wall.
Air conditioning is available in the summer.

What can I say about this place... a simply sublime dinner shared with the right people... everything excellent, both the dishes and the wine... without taking anything away from the welcoming and very clean place (a feature that I notice above all other things).... competent collaborators with the kind courtesy for this very difficult job, without taking anything away from the skill of the chef and the Boss of the site itself... we will definitely be back... good work to everyone 👍👍👍🎉💯

02/12/2025: A great place to stop for lunch or dinner! The food is excellent reasonably priced and if you are a fan of great Pizza, there is a wonderfull Pizzeria right next to it.
01/12/2025: Unfortunately, to my regret, I found the kitchen too focused on visually original aesthetics rather than good flavors.
Furthermore, and I find this unbearable, I ate lunch in the freezing cold!

07/09/2025: Excellent aperitif, always accompanied by a wide variety of delicious appetizers, not just the usual chips or peanuts. They always change, and the spritz is also very good. The staff is young, dynamic, and truly friendly. Good prices. I recommend it for a great aperitif with friends.

The pizzas are huge and delicious, made with fresh ingredients and stored in excellent condition.

18/04/2025: Hostaria il Cavallo per chi come noi la conosce è da sempre una garanzia, un posto che mi sento di consigliare agli amanti di pesce che vogliono assaporare piatti classici rivisitati dalla creatività dell'Oste Massimo e della madre.
Situato in un paesino nelle campagne lombarde a ridosso del fiume Po, qui potrete godere della tranquillità e del fascino di una realtà ancora immutata dal tempo e di una conviviale atmosfera fra gli abitanti del paese di cui l'Hostaria è il fiore all'occhiello.
Se siete inoltre amanti dei cavalli come l'Oste, potrete visitare il maneggio situato a pochi passi per godervi a pieno l'atmosfera rurale del posto.
Piatto forte? Senza dubbio il risotto gambero rosso e tartufo, un piatto che solitamente mette d'accordo anche i più scettici, ma il mio preferito rimane l'antipasto di mare caldo (foto in allegato) piccoli assaggi di esplosioni di sapori che vorresti non finissero mai.
Le regine della festa sono le cozze ripiene che lasciano il desiderio di farne indigestione.
Che dire? :
È consigliabile agli amanti di pesce di farvi tappa, non ve ne pentirete.
