18/04/2026: Babar's location is, in my opinion, enviable, overlooking a square with parking, on the busy Vittadino street; over time it has expanded with the classic outdoor area, and now offers a lot of outdoor space, although it should be remembered that it also has an upper floor, and, at least once in the basement, it had only one restaurant; we chose it for an aperitif and, among the many choices, we were always satisfied.

03/06/2026: Loved this place. Stopped by for lunch right before they closed and the owner and I started talking about food and wine for almost 2 hours. Everything was delicious, he is a sommelier and taught me so much even with the language barrier. Absolute local gem, can’t recommend this place enough
21/02/2026: The breakfast was top-notch; the croissants are from a bakery, you can see and taste it.
The aperitif was a sore point: I went there recently and was disappointed. Taralli and chips weren't even taken out of their bags, just sitting in little bowls, and when we'd finished drinking and eating the little they'd brought us, the lady came over and asked if we wanted tramezzini.
So at this bar, the idea of an aperitif is small pieces of bread with a slice of salami on top, taralli and chips, olives, and tramezzini that arrive late.
I was really disappointed.
I'll only be back for breakfast.

I booked for a Wednesday evening, including a birthday cake, but when we arrived at the restaurant, no one knew about the reservation (or the cake). The dishes we chose (seasonal menu)—onion with scamorza cheese and potato ravioli—were nothing special for me, while my wife's choice was more appreciated. The staff were friendly and attentive, but service was a bit slow considering we were the only ones in the room. For dessert (prepared instead of cake), a biscuit base with pineapple custard, hazelnut crumble, and meringue—truly excellent, and also on the house. A decent experience; I don't think I'll be returning.
