24/07/2026: The steak I ordered was supposed to be medium rare, but it was rare, even blue, so from what I saw, it was a small portion. The pizzas were okay.

25/07/2026: Restaurant is very idyllic. We arrived in late in the afternoon and each table having it's own light really brought up the mood. Staff was more than accommodating and friendly. Food was good and wine was cheap for the quality. Restaurant recommends reserving a table for evenings for the place might be quite full.

12/06/2026: We loved this place! The people that served us were very friendly and helpful we would eat here again just for them. Also the aged t-bone my bf and I shared was cooked perfectly and super tasty, with a delicious chimichurri sauce. We also really liked that it looked classy but still had a cosy feel to it. Definitely make a stop here we were very happy we did.

01/05/2026: Very fast and accurate service. The sushi is mediocre despite the ingredients appearing to be good. Often flavorless and the rice lukewarm. The sushi isn't worth the price. Parking is difficult in the area. The place has a lot of Chinese decor. It doesn't feel like a Japanese place except for the Kanagawa Wave. Too bad

01/05/2026: The sushi isn't even that bad but the staff is rude and then they don't keep the trolls they let in at bay which makes it a really inconvenient mess, unfortunately a place that has gotten worse over time, in particular due to the subjection to elements that are truly toxic for a healthy environment.

07/07/2026: We had a wonderful evening at L'Arcimboldo Ristorante! The pizzas were absolutely delicious—perfectly baked with fresh, high-quality toppings. To accompany the food, they offer a great selection of excellent wines that complemented our meal beautifully. The restaurant boasts a superb location right by the water, providing a fantastic atmosphere for a relaxing dinner. To top it all off, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout the entire evening, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended if you are visiting Sirmione!

10/04/2026: Very very good food. Across three courses there was consistently excellent quality; baccala, polipo, coniglio, maialino, tiramisu. I would dine there again without a second's reservation. My only small disappointment is €23 for a cheese plate is an exaggeration; the 5 cheeses were OK but none were exceptional (not Bagoss or even parmigiano vacche rosse)

05/04/2026: First time in Sirmione, expectations low due to the tourism, but instead we found this restaurant at 10:30 PM. The place is elegant yet simple, and the staff is courteous and knowledgeable, above all! The dishes are refined in both their ingredients and flavors. We finished with a reinterpretation of pastiera and a dessert called umami... sensational. The price was in line with the quality, without hesitation.

29/04/2026: The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and cheerful. The location is truly stunning, far from the chaos of Sirmione but right on the lake, and the terrace overlooking the lake is incredible. All the dishes were delicious and carefully prepared. I didn't try them, but I saw many beautiful pizzas that I'll definitely recommend next time.

30/05/2026: A wonderful experience with great service and incredible views. But the food for this price point was just a little off. Nevertheless, I would still recommend it because if you're in that area, which is crowded as can be, this restaurant feels like a respite, and the service was impeccable. Could also be a great spot for just splitting a bottle of wine.

23/05/2026: Last night, we went with a group of six. Two tasting menus with limited choices. Spaghetti aglio e olio (garlic and oil spaghetti) and the only fish main courses to choose from were turbot and incredible sole. There were no alternatives, not even on the à la carte menu. A huge feast of bread of every kind and type.

03/06/2026: What can I say?! The service, the food, the ambiance—everything here is truly perfect. We had the turbot fillet, and it was simply superb. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. We felt incredibly comfortable here and will definitely be back.

I write these words with a hint of melancholy, after returning to what for me, since time immemorial, has been not just a restaurant, but a true refuge. I've been coming to Rucola since I was a boy; it saw me become a man, a husband, and a father. It's where I've celebrated the most important milestones in my family, from my children's first communion, with the certainty that we would be welcomed not as customers, but as longtime friends. Yesterday, sadly, I strongly felt the absence of what made this place special: Biagio's warm and ever-present welcome. The memories of Maurizio's Inter Milan that colored the shelves. That historic cuisine, made of unchanging flavors that tasted of home and security. Food is important, but the owners' smile was the secret ingredient that completed every dish. Entering La Rucola meant disconnecting from everything and feeling protected by a management team that put their heart and soul into it. ​I want to send a heartfelt greeting to all the people who have shaped the history of this restaurant and to all the customers who, like me, shared a part of their journey at those tables.
