22/11/2025: The best meal we had in our northern Italy trip! We passed by this restaurant on the way back from Sirmione old town, and seeing its seafood-oriented menu, we gave it a try - and it was the best decision. We had a full course with appetiser, main course and desert, we enjoyed every one of them. Especially the scallops gratin with pistachio and the spaghetti with crustaceans sause was absolutely amazing, every bite was a wonder. The staff was very friendly and made sure everything is alright. Absolutely recommended!

17/09/2025: The service is absolutely nonexistent! Everyone stares at the waiter, who works alone, with hungry eyes. The food is delicious, but the portions are very small. We never got dessert! This was our worst experience in Sirmione, I don't recommend it.

16/11/2025: Nice little place. My partner had the spaghetti alla chitarra and it was very good. My paccheri with squid ink was a little less so, but that was my personal preference, not because there was anything wrong with it! I just chose poorly. The second course, grilled lake fish, was truly excellent, delicious. Fantastic tiramisu. The staff was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable.

12/11/2025: A wonderful dinner, with good wine and good beer. The duck was delicious, cooked to perfection, and the tiramisu was exceptional!

08/11/2025: Excellent hotel! Super helpful and friendly staff. Clean, modern rooms... and a first-rate breakfast 👌🏼 I highly recommend it.

15/10/2025: Michael is the star of the show at Hotel Mauro! We received a 5* welcome and service from Michael throughout our stay, he really is the heart and soul of this hotel and made our stay an excellent one. We stayed in a standard room which was compact but perfect for a short stay, the location is convenient with the shuttle bus a short walk away and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

15/11/2025: Very friendly and competent service. Excellent menu. A truly delicious tasting menu, garnished with surprises (amuse-bouche, fruit bowl, and sweets to accompany the coffee). We highly recommend this restaurant. Online table reservations are available! Parking is available nearby. Compliments to the kitchen and service staff. Excellent value for money. Good wine list.

02/11/2025: We had dinner at La Dolce Vita as a couple and had a truly excellent evening. The food was delicious, the atmosphere very pleasant and welcoming, but what made the experience truly special was the service: the waiter was impeccable, kind, and attentive to every detail. I've never been treated so well in all of Italy. A true example of hospitality and professionalism. Highly recommended!

03/11/2025: Quite a pricy place for lunch despite a mediocre quality of food and presentation. We ordered the zucchini flowers and pike and polenta. The flowers were nice but a bit salty. Meanwhile the pike was served all chopped up, so it was not very presentable. There were fish bones in it too. The polenta tasted like university canteen quality. Coperto was 4 euro per person, although there was decent service. Also, due to bad ventilation, the cigarette smoke from the single smoking table outside went inside all the time. It is not enjoyable to eat with smoke surrounding your food.

01/11/2025: A truly welcoming place, with a warm and authentic atmosphere. The staff is kind and attentive, always ready to recommend the daily specials. The cuisine is traditional but with attention to detail: generous portions, quality ingredients, and authentic flavors. The meat-based main courses are excellent, cooked to perfection. A good selection of local wines. The quality-price ratio is excellent! If you're in Sirmione, this is definitely a place to try.

31/08/2025: We ate here almost every evening. The staff was always super friendly, and the food was delicious. And I had the best tiramisu I've ever had.

06/10/2025: I went for dinner; we had pizza and a delicious fried calzone. My pizza was cheesy, with excellent flavor, choice of ingredients, and excellent leavening. My husband's calzone was ricotta, mozzarella, tomato, and cracklings. Delicious!!! Then the dessert, babatiramisu, was delicious! The location was meticulously designed down to the smallest detail. Very welcoming and homely. We celebrated our wedding anniversary. Excellent choice. Highly recommended!!

20/10/2025: We ordered three pizzas to go there, as the restaurant at the neighboring campsite had already closed (mid-October). We really enjoyed the different variations. Well-topped, well-cooked. A little more expensive than average, but well worth it. Friendly service. Thank you. Regards to the pizza chef.

16/10/2025: Very interesting restaurant near the lake. Delicious food!! We were outside yesterday; with a bit of sun, we immediately felt like we were on vacation. Superb daily menu Friendly staff Recommended!!

12/10/2025: A surprise!!! A very, very nice and well-kept place. The kindness, hospitality, and speed always make the difference. 🤩 We opted for a PHENOMENAL BALTIC HOLSTEIN HEIFER.... DIVINE!!!!!! To finish, a little dessert because there's always room for dessert! 😊 SALTED CARAMEL CHEESECAKE Well, yes, a reference point for good meat.... I'll be back to try the rest. 🤩

12/10/2025: The absolute best place to eat grilled meat! A truly beautiful location just a 5-minute drive from Sirmione, the staff are incredibly friendly, the wine list is excellent, there's a wide selection of side dishes, and the meat is truly excellent! A must-try for grilled meat lovers!

04/11/2025: I'd read excellent reviews, but the food was average. Very small portions. The food arrives cold from a serving hatch. The boiled vegetable dish I chose as a side dish was excellent...a bit nursing home-style in terms of the plating, but well done. I'm talking about greens, boiled potato, and a few slices of zucchini. The prices are high. The bill is incorrect...I think it was due to a carelessness. I won't be back, too bad.

13/11/2025: A dreamy spot for an aperitif at sunset, right on the lake. You can easily moor your boat and enjoy the sun and sunset. In the evening, underwater lighting at the jetty creates a special ambiance. You can also enjoy dishes like hamburgers with squid or fritto misto – very tasty. Giuseppe, Fortunato, Ruslan, and Raffaele are very polite and will take excellent care of you. The owner, Andrea, sometimes even stops by your table to greet the guests. A place I often go to in the summer 😉👍🏼🔝

15/11/2025: Very cozy restaurant, kind and helpful staff. We had fish and lamb dishes. The cooking of the dishes was adequate, but I wouldn't have dared to serve the side dishes at home. Frozen vegetables without any seasoning. Served with polenta, both main courses, were not fresh. Lamb is available in stores, seasoned with ready-made sauce. Sorry
