03/06/2026: What can I say?! The service, the food, the ambiance—everything here is truly perfect. We had the turbot fillet, and it was simply superb. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. We felt incredibly comfortable here and will definitely be back.

01/05/2026: Very fast and accurate service. The sushi is mediocre despite the ingredients appearing to be good. Often flavorless and the rice lukewarm. The sushi isn't worth the price. Parking is difficult in the area. The place has a lot of Chinese decor. It doesn't feel like a Japanese place except for the Kanagawa Wave. Too bad

01/05/2026: The sushi isn't even that bad but the staff is rude and then they don't keep the trolls they let in at bay which makes it a really inconvenient mess, unfortunately a place that has gotten worse over time, in particular due to the subjection to elements that are truly toxic for a healthy environment.

11/05/2026: The waiters don't speak English well, but Indian is okay, but it's not suitable for all tourists. They bring food that we didn't order. We waited 30 minutes for the final bill, even though the little kids really wanted to go home and sleep.

I write these words with a hint of melancholy, after returning to what for me, since time immemorial, has been not just a restaurant, but a true refuge. I've been coming to Rucola since I was a boy; it saw me become a man, a husband, and a father. It's where I've celebrated the most important milestones in my family, from my children's first communion, with the certainty that we would be welcomed not as customers, but as longtime friends. Yesterday, sadly, I strongly felt the absence of what made this place special: Biagio's warm and ever-present welcome. The memories of Maurizio's Inter Milan that colored the shelves. That historic cuisine, made of unchanging flavors that tasted of home and security. Food is important, but the owners' smile was the secret ingredient that completed every dish. Entering La Rucola meant disconnecting from everything and feeling protected by a management team that put their heart and soul into it. ​I want to send a heartfelt greeting to all the people who have shaped the history of this restaurant and to all the customers who, like me, shared a part of their journey at those tables. 12/03/2026: Barracuda is an excellent choice for both an aperitif and lunch or dinner. The location is truly stunning and creates a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff is professional, friendly, and always available, especially Raffaele and Giuseppe: thanks in part to them, we return often. I highly recommend it!

02/05/2026: I had lunch at this restaurant, and I have to say it was an incredible experience. The staff was courteous and helpful. As for lunch, the food was of the highest quality, made with top-quality ingredients. Delicious desserts. This restaurant offers a menu that's different from the usual. I couldn't find anything negative about it; I'd go back 100 times over.

30/04/2026: Very nice hosts and everything was wonderfully clean. Unfortunately, we found the prices a bit too high for what was offered, so the value for money wasn't quite right for us. Otherwise, though, the service was friendly!

10/04/2026: Very very good food. Across three courses there was consistently excellent quality; baccala, polipo, coniglio, maialino, tiramisu. I would dine there again without a second's reservation. My only small disappointment is €23 for a cheese plate is an exaggeration; the 5 cheeses were OK but none were exceptional (not Bagoss or even parmigiano vacche rosse)

05/04/2026: First time in Sirmione, expectations low due to the tourism, but instead we found this restaurant at 10:30 PM. The place is elegant yet simple, and the staff is courteous and knowledgeable, above all! The dishes are refined in both their ingredients and flavors. We finished with a reinterpretation of pastiera and a dessert called umami... sensational. The price was in line with the quality, without hesitation.

29/04/2026: The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and cheerful. The location is truly stunning, far from the chaos of Sirmione but right on the lake, and the terrace overlooking the lake is incredible. All the dishes were delicious and carefully prepared. I didn't try them, but I saw many beautiful pizzas that I'll definitely recommend next time.

15/04/2026: Very small, hot room with no air conditioning; noisy—you can hear the entire hallway and neighboring rooms. Bathroom without soap; no complimentary water. Breakfast was average, staff were friendly, and the location was good.

01/06/2026: Let's start with the reservation, which can't be made over the phone. We decide to go, but the lady who welcomes us isn't at all friendly; in fact, she seems rather annoyed by our presence. We have two children, so we decide to stay anyway. The extremely nice waiter saves what was a less than ideal start. Excellent food. Average price.

31/05/2026: We chose this restaurant because of the many positive reviews. Ultimately, however, we were disappointed compared to most of the reviews. The head waitress at the register was very unfriendly from the moment we entered the restaurant. The other waiters were nice. We had to wait a full 70 minutes for our food, as the restaurant was quite busy. We ordered pasta. For such a long wait, I had expected something different. To put it simply, the food was neither good nor bad, but simply tasteless.
