08/11/2025: We were staying in Salò to relax after the hustle and bustle of Italy and we weren't expecting to have one of the best gastronomic experiences of our trip. We were very well attended to by the owner, Estefano, and the waitress, and the food was sensational. We ate pasta with black garlic paste that was spectacular, a fish (sea bass) with artichoke cream, and the next day we returned and had as an appetizer a rabbit stuffed with chicken and for the main course a fish lasagna with pumpkin and another with pork steak with mashed potatoes, onion and sea bass, simply unforgettable! Don't expect large portions, but they are very satisfying and the flavor is sensational. For dessert we had the pistachio tiramisu, also very good. When I return to Italy, it will be the first restaurant I want to go back to.

16/02/2026: Yesterday, my family and I were in Salò for a Sunday stroll, given the nice weather and the fact that we hadn't been there in a while. After a detailed Google search over the past few days, my mother found this place that inspired her. We made a reservation for three at 1 pm. It's located inside Salò, with a few steps to climb (a bit inconvenient for strollers and prams). The place is small but very well-kept with a very classy atmosphere. Just a few tables ensure a quiet place. The menu offers a diverse selection of both quality and quantity. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The bathroom is very clean and smells great. Perhaps because it was Sunday lunchtime and it was busy, or perhaps because the dishes aren't the quickest to prepare, or because they're made to order, we had a bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it. We were full and chose not to order coffee, but they did give us a little gift of their homemade cookies (a much-appreciated gesture). The price was consistent with the quantity and quality of the food, and with the location and beautiful village. Very satisfied, we will definitely be back.

The decor could be enhanced with tablecloths and ready-made place settings for a touch more. The Galoloco sauce, a parsley mayonnaise, is simple but enjoyable. Prices are average, though a small adjustment would be appreciated. Overall, a great place with a lot of potential—with a few improvements, it could become a top-notch restaurant! Recommended, 4 stars.

01/12/2025: A place that appears well-kept, but with a major problem in its spatial organization. They had seated us at a table next to the walkway, and while I was eating, I kept being brushed by passersby: it wasn't very relaxing. As for the food, I was disappointed. The crispy (fried) chicken tasted only of oil and was very dry; perhaps it was inevitable that it had to be fried for so long to get crispy, given its size. At least the beer was good.

08/02/2026: More than a dinner, it was a wonderful experience. Delicious food, excellent wines, a refined atmosphere that manages to combine tradition and modernity, dining room kitchen, and an owner whose kindness, gallantry, and presence alone would be worth the price of the dinner. A fantastic evening.

21/02/2026: We stumbled upon this splendid restaurant by chance, slightly tucked away from the main street. We were immediately captivated by the aroma wafting from the alleyway. A welcoming atmosphere and very friendly staff. The small number of tables is a testament to the attention to detail and customer service. The food was delicious; we tried the trio of first courses, with sophisticated, original, and well-balanced combinations. The real highlight was the dessert that truly impressed us: exceptional tiramisu and semifreddo. We highly recommend stopping by; you won't regret it; we'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

07/10/2025: A small kiosk or bar right on Lake Garda – the location is really beautiful, but unfortunately, that's about it. The aperitif is quite expensive by Italian standards, and they don't serve any snacks with it—not even chips or olives—which are usually standard in Italy! The drink itself was okay, but a bit thin. The tables were sticky and apparently hadn't been wiped down properly. And honestly, there are plenty of bars around Lake Garda with lake views, olive trees, and a cozy atmosphere—often cheaper, with snacks, and better service.

04/03/2026: My partner and I went there for lunch on a Sunday and were thrilled. The view, location, and food were beautiful, and above all, the service was excellent! The price is reasonable for the quality. We'll definitely be back. There's a small golf course across the street that's great for everyone to enjoy.

With a well-established reputation for excellent charcuterie and cheeses, they also serve traditional hot dishes. The place is a bit "cheap" in the back, with mismatched furniture, but it makes you feel like you're at a friend's place who throws parties in their trendy garage (great poster on the wall)... the restrooms are clean. But it's the owners who make all the difference, with their warm welcome, kindness, and expertise. Charcuterie is a family tradition, and they know everything about local cheeses. Try an aged Bagos while listening to what the owner tells you about it... a very, very pleasant surprise!
