31/08/2025: Friendly and welcoming staff, a wide selection from appetizers to gluten-free desserts, excellent food and generous portions. I finally got to eat some truly delicious fried fish, which I don't think is at all easy to prepare for celiacs. The freshly made focaccia was truly remarkable, the seafood risotto was enough for almost two people, the octopus and potato salad with decidedly tender octopus, and the trofie with pesto were delicious. A quiet and welcoming place. A place definitely worth considering. All five stars, well deserved.

31/08/2025: A must-visit when visiting Spotorno is Gagollo. Super-fresh, top-quality fish, consistently generous portions, and an unparalleled variety of fried food. The atmosphere could be improved, but that's part of the Gagollo brand. Service and prices are slightly questionable.

21/08/2025: Excellent restaurant on the seafront. I've been eating there for the second time in a row. The staff are all very young, helpful, competent, and eager to work. The service from the waiter, Gianluca, was beyond impeccable. If I'd been here another day, I'd definitely have returned.

29/08/2025: A place that seems friendly at first glance, but once we're inside, if you're of color, you'll be mistreated. The food is bland, the service is very poor, and the most pathetic service we've encountered in recent years. They choose customers based on your skin color and origin—a real scandal. 10/08/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, without a reservation, and despite it being the week of August 15th, they found us a table right away. We shared a house appetizer to start and were served two decidedly XL courses, so much so that we wondered if they were two appetizers and not one. Instead, it was actually one giant appetizer with a first round of cold fish and a second hot one. Everything was delicious, even the warm focaccia with cherry tomatoes and onion. While we were waiting for the first course, the owner, who, contrary to other reviews, we found to be friendly and knowledgeable, like someone who has been passionately involved in this profession for decades, asked us if we wanted to try some spaghetti with clams and bottarga from a pan that had evidently been too full. They were divine! Then, even though we were already full, my Jurassic dish of linguine with scampi and my husband's mixed fried fish arrived. We literally left rolling. The waiters and the owner's daughter were all kind, even to our poodle, who earned a few extra cookies. The bill was €88, including a bottle of wine. We'll definitely be back.

27/07/2025: The hotel is dated, like practically all in Liguria, but the view is spectacular and the water is crystal clear. The owners are very kind, and there's a family atmosphere. It's worth a visit for a few days of relaxation.

27/05/2025: Truly a place with a magical position overlooking the sea, friendly staff and breakfast with a glass window with a unique view. Surely many write that it is dated... But with a position like this, the beach reachable by elevator and the parking space at a similar price you could not ask for more

21/08/2025: We called twice for a large table in the middle of August, and they always found a quick solution. Good food, fast service, and the owner even took the time to give our dog water and cuddles.

20/08/2025: We tried both dine-in and takeout. The dishes were overall good, although the pasta was a bit bland. The staff made some mistakes in the service (both in the dining room and kitchen), omitting missing ingredients and substituting them (dangerous from an allergen standpoint) for takeout.

28/08/2025: We went for dinner this evening, my partner, her son, and I. I have to say, it was a wonderful discovery. It's a shame it's our last night of vacation here in Borghetto. Everything was delicious, with generous portions, from the mussels and appetizers to the first courses, everything was truly delicious, with kind and attentive service. We'll definitely have a chance to return to savor your dishes, because one thing's for sure: we always return to places where we've had a good time. See you soon, and thank you. 26/08/2025: My husband and I made a reservation for dinner, but we arrived early to have an aperitif. They told us to wait because the table wasn't ready. After 15 minutes, they seated us, but only for dinner. The pesto trofie and octopus were floating in cream. The sea bass was good, but very poor. The quality/price ratio was nonexistent. We definitely won't be returning.

23/12/2024: So apart from the pizza, it's not bad, the rest was rejected, from the beer served in the glass of water only 33cl paid as an average, to the old and unkept environment, not to mention the fairly high bill.

02/11/2024: I went to this pub restaurant with my girlfriend last night. We didn't have a good time. Too long waits. We didn't like dinner. We tried several dishes but no cooking. Good pizza. My girlfriend even got angry with me. Once upon a time we ate better. I am sorry . It also became expensive.

20/04/2025: Very happy! Complete choice of various spirits, excellent preparation and excellent quality! The staff is very knowledgeable, welcoming and smiling. You can see there is passion. Also very happy with the DJ set outside, a truly pleasant experience.

05/07/2025: Vino molto costoso. Chiariamo anziché fusilli alle vongole di avere gli spaghetti. Rispondono di no. Pazienza. Cozze al guazzetto. Quasi tutte col “baffo”. Quindi non adeguatamente pulite. Chiediamo acciughe fritte specificando che vogliamo assieme una focaccia. Arrivano le acciughe ma non la focaccia. Nel frattempo servono pizze e focacce da asporto, che passano davanti alle ordinazioni dei tavoli. Se non fosse in passeggiata ad Alassio, a mio avviso sarebbe sempre vuoto.

04/08/2025: Very nice food. Very fresh and home made style. The people is very kindly and familiar. It is like you were at home
