01/04/2024: BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN WHEN YOU BOOK. We ate at Easter, the service was very slow, the food was edible, nothing special.... on a negative note, we booked for 9 adults and two children aged 5 and 2 with a high chair. We had 9 meals from 55 euros and a children's menu from 25 euros which consisted of a pasta with tomato sauce and a cordon bleu (frozen and cooked) without dessert. After paying the bill for 9 adults and 1 child we heard ourselves called back as we were leaving rudely who didn't we had paid for the second child's lunch which we did not consume. We had to pay 25 euros for the same without having consumed it because the telephone reservation had been for two children. Absurd enough to never go there again.

03/04/2024: One of the best pizzas I have ever tasted. The owner is also very cheerful. He was kind enough to even provide Limoncello in a separate bottle and glasses for takeaway. Definitely recommend the place

04/04/2024: We went to this restaurant because it appears in several pizza rankings. Unfortunately, however, we did not leave satisfied.
The waiters are kind and well trained but the wait was quite long between the appetizer and the pizza.
As an appetizer we took the cod fritters, I can't say anything about the frying, but they were a lot of pasta and not enough cod and it didn't stand out in terms of taste.
As pizzas we tried:
- Italy-Japan, very flat tastes, I wouldn't take it again.
-cornucopia, certainly a little more enjoyable than the first but still not one of those pizzas that satisfies you.
4 stars despite not leaving satisfied because a bad evening can happen, the dough is still of a high standard and the raw materials too, perhaps I had high expectations but I would have expected something more

05/04/2024: After a couple of attempts in the past months, we managed to book a table for 2.
The place is small but nice, the food is good and fresh, but the portions are a little small for the prices. Friendly and kind staff: during rush hour there was a lot of confusion, so much so that I had to get up to ask for more bread... in any case they made it up to me.
Next time we will return to try the paccheri that everyone acclaimed..

05/04/2024: This is quite a popular establishment that has been here for a while. It was recommended by our hotel and we were immediately welcomed by the super friendly manager/owner (?). They specialise in seafood and so we ordered the lobster pasta, seafood pasta and a mix grill of seafood items. Overall, the pasta was very good.. Especially the lobster pasta although my wife did not finish the pasta. The mixed grill was good but as seafood grill doesn't really involve alot of creativity in cooking, it was ok but not exceptional. Nevertheless the energy and friendliness of the manager really made the place special. Food was decently priced and their house wine was very worthwhile. We found the tiramisu to be too rich for our liking but it's great as well.

18/03/2024: Dinner during the week not to be repeated, a pizza (not good) a plate of mussels, a plate of bread oil with 2cl of oil 1 gin and tonic 4 cokes in a can (5.50 per can) 2 sorbets for the modest sum of 90 euros (also with discount). Senseless 1 plate of mussels for 18 euros and 1 can of coke for 5.50 SHAMEFUL.

Plutôt du type gastro, très fin mais pas très copieux.
Des plats originaux sont proposés, et c’est un régal.
30/10/2023: This was the nicest meal we had in Portovenere and one of the nicest of our three-week Italy trip. We stopped by on a Sunday to make a reservation for Tuesday evening. The atmosphere indoors was lovely and the service was attentive. It's primarily a seafood restaurant so my options were incredibly limited as a vegetarian, but I truly enjoyed the bread, grilled vegetables, pesto pasta (though the portion was quite small), and a deconstructed tiramisu. My husband had a piece of fish and said it was incredible. Fancier experience corresponds with fancier prices, but such is life. We would return.

We had lunch outdoors, considering the mild day; the wait to take a seat can exceed 30 minutes.
I'll start by saying that the prices - which are quite high - are not displayed outside, as required by the regulations. Furthermore, the menu warns that separate accounts are not made, although this option is always provided.
Personally I didn't appreciate the much hyped Spaghetti alla Ciak, due to the imbalance given by the Taggiasca olives.
The grilled swordfish, defrosted, was brought to me raw and was very chewy when chewed.
The mixed fried food, in the photo, proved to be sufficient.
The staff proved to be discreetly courteous but detached.
I conclude that the fortune of a place of this caliber is the location, hardly the quality; in addition to this, the bill turned out to be high compared to what we ordered.
Naturally first and last visit.

07/04/2024: They seated 9 of us despite it being a Saturday evening and without a reservation, shame about the 2 and a half hour wait for the first courses and the bruchetta offered by the waiters for 48 euros
06/04/2024: Found by chance. Pleasant quiet street, good recommendation of the house. Tasty ratatouille, great homemade pasta and pesto. Great lasagne. Clear recommendation! Thank you very much.
