07/04/2024: Original traditional Italian Restaurant. They are famous for their self-made pesto. Highly recommended. Best is to be there 15min. prior opening time, otherwise it's hard to get a table.

And even the elevators on the ground floor are nowhere to be found. Entering from the main entrance there are no signs for sighted people, much less LOGES for the blind

06/04/2024: We had lunch at this lovely restaurant for lunch this Saturday. The location is great, although the location is a bit far from the seafront. The food is excellent and very well presented. Too bad the service was very unsuitable and professional for the standards of the place. The waiters are hasty and pay little attention to expressing themselves in front of customers, openly mocking customers who are unaware of this behavior. It's a shame because the experience would otherwise have been excellent

07/04/2024: When I asked people who have lived there for advice on where to eat in La Spezia, this tavern was suggested to me without thinking twice. And then I understood why!
Truly typical, starting from the location, rustic, well-kept, very welcoming and with a convivial atmosphere. You chat very easily with your "neighbors" at the table, who have been coming to eat in this place for years. The dining room staff was also impeccable, and not only polite, but also very nice.
Speaking of the menu, I finally tasted the authentic pesto, the good one! And in really generous portions. But also mesciua, a traditional soup from La Spezia. And the muscle and anchovy appetizer, which I'm not a big fan of, was cleaned up nicely.
The cheese cake was excellent, I didn't like the trifle, but that's not a good enough reason not to deserve full marks! For what we ate, its quality and the service, the bill is even too honest. Nothing but hell...
06/04/2024: Nice place with tables inside and tables outside. The portions are generous and the quality/price ratio is very good. The staff is friendly and always present, but not annoying. Excellent tagliatelle with pesto, I'm not local, but I've never eaten such good pesto. The second courses are also good and plentiful. The choice of first and second courses varies between meat and fish. There are also vegetarian dishes.

04/04/2024: It is the first time we have lunch in this place and we are satisfied. We ordered everything based on fish, good, plentiful and fresh. We will be back.
03/04/2024: I can also tolerate being given a fried fish that literally floats in oil with fish in which the only edible things were 6 prawns and the rest of the plate to be thrown away since I wouldn't even give it to a dog, which all three the first and second starter courses were brought in installments to the diners at the table, but frankly as a customer who paid for everything, politely notifying the owner of the poor service he experienced after swiping the ATM (a poor service which has already been mentioned and reiterated twice to the staff of the room) I find it unacceptable to see money thrown on the counter as a refund (money that was left there to be precise): I found it profoundly incorrect and certainly not the way to face and resolve a problem. Furthermore, just to give credit where credit is due, the proposal to redo the 3 plates of fried food was only made to us upon our second complaint when a second waitress came by to clear the table and found herself faced with 3 practically untouched dishes. . I'm sorry that the staff chose to handle the matter without notifying the owner in advance. Everyone makes mistakes (of course) but it's up to the customer - in the face of a literally late proposal - to choose whether to have the dish remade or not. Lastly, the purpose of the observation was not to receive a discount but only to point this out for the next time, otherwise I would have pointed it out before paying and not after.
