04/07/2025: Had dinner with my wife at the beginning of July. The waitress, despite her young age, was very knowledgeable and good at creating the conditions for a comfortable dinner, drawing the attention of the parents at a nearby table to the somewhat too lively behavior of their children. Excellent appetizers, filleted raw fish (in this case tuna) and marinated anchovies. Also excellent were the main courses, baked Umbrina fillet on EVO oil puree and fillets of sea bream in a potato crust with courgette flan (for my tastes I would have accompanied the sea bream with a sautéed vegetable). Good bread. All accompanied by two glasses of wine, a bottle of water and finally coffee and barley. Honest price of 94 euros. The only flaw was a piece of blue tuna that worried us a bit but the waitress promptly reassured us as it was food coloring used to decorate the dish.

06/06/2025: No hago reseñas, pero me siento instado a arrojar luz sobre este “drama” sobre el plato de firmas, el risotto de mariscos y las opiniones de la administración antigua vs. tldr: Quien se quejó del risotto, simplemente no sabe su s**t. Es exquisito. . sabor equilibrado, y una porción enorme llena de crustáceos, muy bien vale la pena sus 24 € (precio del menú del 25 de junio). El personal, amable y atento. Tenía el risotto, una botella de 75 cl de vino embotellado de la casa helada (que se asemeja a la fruta y la sensación refrescante de un buen Chardonnay ) y un maestro - de - la - casa de arte hecho panacotta, por un total de factura de 49 . 50 .

04/07/2025: I was at Locanda Marinai a few nights ago and I was amazed. It is one of those places that stays in your heart. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by Alessandra, the dining room manager, super kind, smiling and always present. She gave us passionate advice, as if we were guests in her home. I started with mussels alla marinara.. delicious! Then I moved on to spaghetti with clams and then finished with a panna cotta that left me speechless. But beyond the food, what makes this place special is the atmosphere, Bordighera Alta in the evening is a dream.

04/07/2025: Dinner on Saturday 28 June fast service, kind and helpful waiting staff. Very good appetizers cod fritters and hazelnut breaded anchovies, for the first pesto with slightly floury potatoes while the spaghetti with clams (tasty) a little too greasy for my taste, average tiramisu. Good house Pigato wine, industrial bread, very long espresso coffee undrinkable for me. Fairly fair price. "Ballet" chairs not the most comfortable.

18/07/2025: God mat och mycket bra service. Vi åt en vällagad lunch och när vi frågade om de skulle sända kvällens match från damernas fotbolls-EM så fixade de fram en annan TV som hade rätt kanal. Fantastiskt!!

The name A Tartana is absolutely wrong, it should be called LA DIVINA FARINATA - All of Italy is enclosed in this dish - colour, flavour, crunchiness and sweetness. A GOODNESS!!!!! 21/07/2025: I must say we had a truly wonderful experience at Ristorante Garibaldi. We ate in the small outdoor piazza, nestled between the houses of the village of Bordighera Alta: a charming and peaceful setting, perfect for a pleasant evening. The welcome was truly warm and friendly, with attentive and attentive service from the staff, always available without being intrusive. We ordered fried fish, perfectly soft and crispy, a truly delicious fish couscous, a rich and flavorful mackerel prepared according to tradition, and a simple but well-executed pasta with clams. The portions were definitely satisfying, and the price seemed fair for the quality and location. A place we recommend, especially for those who love Ligurian flavors and the authentic atmosphere of the old town.

05/07/2025: My partner and I arrived without a reservation and were seated at the very back table around the corner, even though there were plenty of others available. My partner's pizza was made to order because the menu was overwhelming. His pizza tasted excellent. My simple pizza tonno was underwhelming. There was too little tuna and it didn't taste very good. I wouldn't order from here again; I might opt ​​for a different version. The service was friendly, but they didn't notice us often enough because of the poor seating. Very good value for money.
