02/11/2025: The place is nice and quiet, and the decor is tasteful. The dishes we ordered were good, with one exception: the pizza dough, while tasty, was definitely not homemade. As a pizza lover, I know this same elongated shape with the same consistency is available commercially under the name PINSA. Furthermore, we didn't see the chef working the dough at all. However, the toppings were of good quality, let's be honest. In short, a nice place, admittedly, but a bit pricey.

05/06/2025: Excellent and imaginative cuisine. It's worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Impeccable service, with explanations of each creation. The local wine is very fruity and dry, with a good finish. Thank you very much.

21/05/2025: One of the best restaurant experiences I‘ve ever had. The waitress was really kind and the food was just amazing. There‘s really nothing negative i could say about this restaurant, it‘s definitely worth going. I think the prices are justified.

31/10/2025: This was my second visit. The seafood pasta was excellent, but the portion wasn't quite large enough. The Prosecco was excellent. I come to Italy often and I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was superb and the staff attentive.

27/10/2025: Dinner with friends, a very welcoming place in the historic center of Bordighera, which I fell in love with... The place is very welcoming as is the staff... We enjoyed soft trumpet cake on a bed of delicious cheese... seafood gnocchi, spaghetti with clams and dessert, all excellent... I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a meal in tranquility and hospitality.

01/09/2025: Very good pizza, very casual place, average service. The only flaw was that we waited a long time for our pizza (though it must be said that the owner had warned us that the service would take a long time). Regardless of the wait, I recommend the place because the pizza is worth it.

08/11/2025: A magical, elegant, and romantic place. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming (kindness, competence, attentiveness...). It felt like being part of the family. A magical breakfast room overlooking a citrus garden. A delightful team. The location is perfect on the Via Romana, surrounded by sumptuous 19th and 20th-century villas, 10 minutes from the sea and 15 minutes from the old town (level access, no hills). Excellent value for money, a far cry from the impersonal atmosphere of standard hotels. Highly recommended! Yves

In fact, the old town of Bordighera transforms into an outdoor restaurant on weekends, and the parking lot, although spacious upon arrival, feels like a stadium. Furthermore, the quality/price ratio is truly excellent.

23/09/2025: A little set back in the old streets of Bordighera, in a beautifully decorated little square, we enjoy the tasty and well-presented specialties: a fish steak from the catch of the day and its crunchy vegetable medley, and for dessert the famous tiramisu, pimped with caramel cream and a chocolate crisp. We also appreciate the fact that the waiters speak French and that the menus are translated. This is a valuable help even if the diversity of Italian pasta is untranslatable and requires an explanation, kindly provided.

09/12/2025: The pizza is truly unique, light, crispy, and generously topped. Other dishes are also delicious. Extremely friendly service. Prices are absolutely reasonable and accessible to most. I've been back every summer, including this summer of 2025. I must say, after six years, I still maintain my extremely positive overall opinion! I especially thank and greet the kind lady (I think the owner) who takes reservations over the phone, greets us upon arrival, and bids us farewell at the end of the meal. Can we find a flaw? The outdoor seating area is slightly sloped, making it uncomfortable to sit in some areas. I will continue to recommend and return.

29/11/2025: Recommended by friends and family, three of us went for dinner on a Saturday night, and it didn't make a good impression right away... The entrance is very narrow, where the cash register is located, so it creates a lot of confusion between those entering and exiting. The pizza is decent with a lot of choices, but the quality is like many other pizzerias that, for the same reason, have lower prices. The spaghetti with clams is good, but the paella is very expensive for the price. The rice is boiled, salty, and only contains shellfish... Overall, a no-go!!!

20/09/2025: A €14 breakfast. Two croissants, a coffee, a cappuccino, and a small strawberry tart for €7.00!!!! €1 per strawberry, practically... Exorbitantly priced, as if we were by the sea or in a Venetian piazza, and the prices weren't displayed; when asked, the waiter told me the tart cost €5... For a basic breakfast (coffee and cappuccino are fine), but don't bother going into the pastry shop... The reviews greatly overrate this place; for half the price, you can easily get better breakfasts, even by the sea. A half-empty cream croissant, average coffee... Overall, value for money, highly not recommended.

21/09/2025: Secluded location in an archway by the square. We were the only guests when we visited in the evening. Very small portions that don't quite reach the ambitions expected from the menu. Nice staff.

21/09/2025: Very surprised by the comments describing the excellent food. Has there been a change of ownership recently? We ate the worst pizzas of our lives (no exaggeration, including frozen pizzas). The dough is soft and flavorless, it looks more like a pancake than a real pizza dough. The sauce is like cheap industrial sauce... very little choice of drinks, the pitcher of red wine is undrinkable and full of sediment (I sent it back, it's the first time this has happened to me because I think I didn't expect a great vintage in a pitcher, but this was really bad). I'm giving a second star to the waitress who is friendly and welcoming.

08/09/2025: Another vacation in France, and although we now have our trusted reference points from our cousins ​​across the Alps, we felt the urge for national cuisine. We set out from Menton with the idea of ​​a place in Bordighera we'd seen on Google, but once we arrived, we were drawn to a small outdoor terrace, right on the square where we parked. A pleasant welcome, the kind that makes you feel at home, even though it was almost 9:30 PM. We weren't particularly hungry, so we started with a quick appetizer, farinata with stracchino cheese and fried anchovies, followed by spaghetti with clams and ravioli with butter and sage. Now, here's a problem: the farinata is a whole farinata, the anchovies arrive on a (full) serving dish, and then at least 200 grams of ravioli and the same amount of spaghetti with clams arrive. Well, that was a really pleasant problem to deal with! The restaurant's philosophy is "you go to a restaurant to eat," and they keep their promises, not only in terms of quantity but especially in terms of taste. We couldn't have had better expectations. Especially at a truly fair price. Another place added to the "We'll be back" list. Well done!
