09/02/2025: This is a delightful restaurant with delicious food and good service. The menu is in the style of fine dining, but with reasonable prices for the quality. The first course was preceded by a selection of amuse-bouche, accompanied by the best focaccia I have tasted. Both the veal and pigeon dishes were tasty and interesting. I also had a bottle of local wine at a reasonable price. The server (Emma) was friendly and helpful.

22/02/2025: The cuisine, mostly Neapolitan and from the Amalfi Coast, is excellent, full of flavor and creativity. Very good wines too. As for the welcome, it is warm and pleasant. It's truly a wonderful little restaurant in the heart of the centro storico.

07/03/2025: Every time we come to have lunch here, we feel like we're returning to a familiar place, as if we were long-time customers... and yet every time they surprise us as if it were the first. The food? A spectacle. Not simply good, but the kind you feel cooked with love, with the passion of those who don't just put together ingredients, but create experiences. In short, those dishes that make you want to send a message to your grandmother saying: Grandma, don't worry, I found someone who cooks almost as well as you, hoping not to be disinherited. 🥰🥰😂😂 We came accompanied by our two medium-sized dogs, who were welcomed with more enthusiasm than certain restaurants welcome humans. No dirty looks, no annoyed faces, just smiles and a few well-placed pats. If they could, our dogs would have left an enthusiastic review full of woof woofs, how delicious, and would probably have asked to reside here. The service is impeccable. The girl in the dining room is professional, attentive, fast, never intrusive, in short, the kind of waitress who knows exactly when to intervene and when to let you contemplate the dish with the devotion of someone who has just found the meaning of life in a bite of pasta. If we really have to find a "fault" (and we do it with affection, we swear!), perhaps she could allow herself a little more confidentiality. Nothing forced, just that minimum of complicity that makes you feel even more at home. But this, obviously, is a subjective nuance, like preferring tiramisu to panna cotta, everyone has their own tastes! Overall, the verdict is only one: restaurant promoted with full marks, with honors and an academic kiss! A place where you eat well, you are welcomed warmly and you leave with a full belly and a happy heart. We will return, hungry and happy, as always ... and who knows, maybe next time we will even bring our relatives to make them understand what it really means to eat well.
17/02/2025: A small restaurant but great cuisine in picturesque Bordighera Alta. In an original decor with quotes written on signs throughout the room, the dishes are beautifully presented. The bread (with olives, etc.), pasta, and other smoked salmon are made by the owner and if there are frozen ingredients (octopus, etc.) this is indicated on the menu. The products are local. The young waitress, pleasant, speaks French. The value for money is very good, especially for the dishes with fish (€17/for a dish with a good quantity of Umbrine and its accompaniment). The kitchens are visible from the room. A very pleasant moment in this enchanting place in Liguria so well painted by Monet!

28/01/2025: Already the second time I come to dine here, always impeccable, exquisite linguine with clams, fillet with green pepper that is sublime to say the least, perfect cooking, house prosecco better than many bottled wines that other places serve, a fixed stop every time I pass by from Bordighera! Nice, generous and easy-going owners, super recommended!!

04/03/2025: Pizzeria restaurant located in the upper part of Bordighera. Menu with a very wide choice of pizzas and a good choice of classic fish starters, first and second courses. I tried the spaghetti with seafood, good with good quality fish. Honest prices.

31/01/2025: Local located in Bordighera Alta. Small but welcoming, almost familiar. Dining room staff present, punctual, friendly and helpful. Perfect cuisine and generous portions. All very, very good. The outdoor terrace is beautiful for an outdoor lunch. The trofie with pesto with local artichokes and the Genoese top are exceptional. The sweet bread with zabaglione is a blast!!!

01/01/2025: Novantiqua is much more than just a bar or restaurant. It is the place where you can drink some of the best cocktails in Bordighera and at the same time it is a refined restaurant that expertly blends the cuisine and flavors of Liguria with the distant and exotic ones of Japan. Nothing is left to chance, from the manga-style cocktail list to the vast wine list that ranges between Italy and France. A mandatory stop for anyone in these parts.
26/09/2024: En Français ci dessous. Passez votre chemin. What an experience ! Highly over rated. Next time a restaurant is completely empty, maybe it's better to just leave ! We were received very chic, good music in a refined room. Super friendly staff, Nothing to say about this. Menu in French and English We chose an organic wine, the waiter told us it was a natural wine, €11 a glass. That it was a natural wine, I have no doubt, I usuelle Alias drink natural wine where I live in France. But to me this wine has no character. Rather bland. But for the wine, it's indeed a question of taste. I accept. It wasn't bad. We shared a sushi for starters. 8 sushi in all, 4 per person. I've traveled a lot in Japan and China, eaten in good restaurants. Our Sushis : *Dragon Nova Roll* Sanremo prawns in tempura, spring onions, spicy mayonnaise, avocado sashimi and teriyaki Wow ! Sounds very tasty. This sushi is not worth half its price of €26!!! The ingredients are tiny and with all the rice, blend. And we paid €3.25 per piece of sushi! Then came the main course. Red Tuna, Scallops, Shiitake Mushrooms, Spring Onions and teriyaki sauce. €19 per person. There was this word for which I did not ask for the translation: *Gyoza* of the Day. It was in fact 6 *Dumplings* per person. Too bad that neither the French menu nor the English menu translates this word Gyoza which is indeed the word for traditional Japanese ravioli. But Dumplings or Ravioles, it doesn't matter ! The dough was so *thick* that you can't detect the ingredients. With the sauce, it makes it all go down ! Let's say Dumpling instead of Raviolis because dumplings it was, but I've eaten good dumplings, with dough as thin as a sheet of paper. These dumplings, we paid 3.16 per piece ! Of course, we're not hungry anymore after all that rice and dough but honestly, at this price we ask for better. However, I wanted a dessert to finish. And I was really surprised. A delight! I think the chef in the kitchen excels in pastry, maybe in truth he's more of a pastry chef. Price: 104.50 with a starter for two, 2 glasses of wine, 2 main courses and a dessert. A real tourist trap! And no one else in the restaurant. A few people in the bar. I let you judge for yourself. Xxxxxxx Quelle expérience ! Au prochain fois qu'un restaurant est tout vide, peut-être qu'il vaut mieux simplement sortir. Nous avons été reçu très chic, de la bonne musique dans une salle épurée. Très bien. Personnelle super sympa, Rien à dire la dessus. Menu en français et en anglais. On a choisi un vin bio, le serveur nous dit qu'il s'agit d'un vin nature, 11€ le verre. Qu'il s'agit d'un vin nature, j'en doute pas, je m'y connais, mais un vin sans aucune caractère. Plutôt Fade. Mais pour le vin, c'est effectivement un question de goût. J'accepte. Il n'était pas mauvais. Nous avons partagé une entrée de sushis. 8 sushis en tout, 4 par personne. Pas mal. J'ai beaucoup voyagé au Japon et en Chine, mange dans des bons restaurants. Sushis : *Dragon Nova Roll* Gambas de Sanremo en tempura, ciboule, mayonnaise épicée, sashimi d’ avocat et teriyaki Whaooo. Ça donne envie. Ce sushi ne vaut pas la moitié de son prix de 26€ ! ! ! Les ingrédients sont minuscules et avec tout le riz, bœuf. On a quand même payé 3.25€ par morceau de sushi ! Ensuite arrivé le plat principale. Thon Rouge, Coquilles Saint Jacques, Champignon Shiitake, Ciboule et sauce teriyaki. 19€ par personne. Il y avait ce mot pour lequel je n'ai pas demandé la traduction : Gyoza du Jour. Il s'agissait en effets de 6 Dumplings par personne. Dommage que ni le menu français, ni le menu anglais traduit ce mot Gyoza qui en effet est le mot pour des ravioles traditionnels japonais. Mais Dumplings ou Ravioles, peu importe ! La pâte était tellement *épaisse* qu'on ne détecte rien aux ingrédients. Si la sauce, ça fait passer le tout ! Disons plutôt Dumpling, mais des bons dumplings j'en ai mangé, avec une pâte fine comme une feuille de papier. Mais ces dumplings, c'est carrément du vol. Et on paye 3.16 par morceau ! Bien sûr, on n'a plus faim après tout ce riz et pâte mais franchement, à ce prix on demande mieux. J'ai toutefois voulu un dessert. Et la j'ai été franchement surpris. Un délice ! Je pense que le chef en cuisine excelle en pâtisserie, peut être qu'en vérité il est plutôt un pâtissier. Prix : 104.50 avec une entrée pour deux, 2 verre de vin, 2 plats et un dessert. Une vrai trappe touriste ! Et personne autre dans la salle de restaurant. Quelques personnes dans le bar. Je vous laisse juger vous même.

25/02/2025: We were recommended by friends. Came here with some good food expectations… however the restaurant itself was a nice surprise for us.. very friendly staff and well ambient atmosphere. The food wasn’t as good as we expect. I guess depends on what you eat, the mussels were exquisite but the pizza was not our favorite… 🐾 It is a Dog friendly restaurant.

05/01/2025: I was recently at Diavolina, and the experience was truly satisfying. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with particular attention to the quality of details and hospitality. The staff was very friendly and helpful, ready to advise us on the most characteristic dishes on the menu. The strong point, obviously, is the meat: cooked to perfection, tasty and tender. I tried the organic Marche rib eye and the Abruzzo rostelle, both exceptional. The grille is visible and this adds a touch of authenticity, making the experience even more immersive. The accompaniments are also worthy of note: chips, grilled vegetables and excellent fried bread. The prices are fair for the quality offered, and the service was quick without ever making us feel rushed. An experience that I recommend to those who love quality meat, superlative desserts, I recommend the nutellino!! I highly recommend it to all lovers of good food!
05/01/2025: I've been to the La Diavolina grill and pizzeria and the experience was very positive. The combination of grilled meat is pizza and well balanced, with tasty and well prepared dishes. I tried the tagliatelle and the Calabrisella pizza, both delicious, with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. A welcoming and excellent place for an informal but quality dinner. Fair prices for what is offered.

15/02/2025: Bello il locale, simpatico e disponibile il gestore, abbiamo fatto un aperitivo con amici che però non ci ha soddisfatto; troppo il ghiaccio negli spriz, molto annacquati e di poco corpo, come pure l'aperitivo analcolico che per il troppo ghiaccio perde sapore... Scarsi anche gli stuzzichini che accompagnavano il tutto e conto elevato... Peccato perchè il locale merita, ma non ci torneremo...
27/11/2024: Ottima cucina. Il proprietario attualmente ai tavoli molto gentile e simpatico. Bella sala con arredamento molto moderno e con un'ampia vetrata. Ottima la scelta anche per aperitivi.

23/02/2025: Good place with friendly and helpful staff. Good food with generous portions. I took spaghetti with clams, spaghetti with seafood and fried calamari and prawns. Everything ok for quality and quantity. The panna cotta made by them is good. Fair price.
