08/11/2025: A magical, elegant, and romantic place. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming (kindness, competence, attentiveness...). It felt like being part of the family. A magical breakfast room overlooking a citrus garden. A delightful team. The location is perfect on the Via Romana, surrounded by sumptuous 19th and 20th-century villas, 10 minutes from the sea and 15 minutes from the old town (level access, no hills). Excellent value for money, a far cry from the impersonal atmosphere of standard hotels. Highly recommended! Yves

Prices were too high for the quality. Entrees were plentiful and average. Service was friendly and fairly quick. The atmosphere, however, was disappointing: tables were packed together, too crowded, and it was noisy. The lady at the table next to us listened to everything we talked about. The orange sign needs improvement. When we left, we smelled of fried food and cooking, and we had to wash everything, even our jackets.

04/03/2026: We were looking for a place in the heart of Bordighera Alta, and La Scibretta won us over. The food was divine: traditional dishes prepared with care and using the freshest ingredients. There's a welcoming, family atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The value for money is excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. If you want to taste authentic Ligurian cuisine, this is the place. We'll definitely be back.

22/02/2026: We were very disappointed with the food: the stockfish was unspeakable, the fish was not very tasty, and the saffron tagliatelle was equally lacking. The panna cotta was more like stale pudding. For the price, the quality was absolutely not up to par. I didn't find the flavors of beautiful Liguria. What a shame!
