24/06/2024: We stayed in Santa Margharita for 3 nights. We traveled to a couple of different towns nearby for dinner on the first 2 nights. The last night we did not have reservations and walked through town seeking a restaurant that had an active 'vibe'. Angolo 48 quickly seated us and served us a fabulous meal. My wife and I would gladly return for a follow-up serving of deliciousness!

17/06/2024: Das beste Restaurant in Santa. Wir gehen schon seit Jahren immer wieder gerne ins Angoli wenn wir in Santa Urlaub machen. Super leckeres Essen, super nettes Personal. Alles wie immer Top.

20/08/2024: The scampi do O'batti are a delight, the rest is not bad. Very friendly staff. The waiter was friendly and, looking at my wife's plate of leftover scampi, said: "there's some professionalism here...." (see photo). The view from the terrace is spectacular

18/06/2024: Ristorante sul lungomare di Santa Margherita Ligure, offre un'ottima scelta di piatti, in una location estremamente interessante. Bellissima la veranda, da cui si può godere lo spettacolo del porto turistico di Santa Margherita. I piatti sono di ottima qualità, serviti in porzioni abbondanti. Il personale è cortese, disponibile e non invadente. Il servizio è veloce, nonostante ogni piatto venga preparato al momento (e questa cosa è scritta nel menù, dove ci si scusa per eventuali ritardi nella preparazione, cosa mai capitata nella mia esperienza). Considerato il posto, i prezzi sono assolutamente adeguati. Quando tornerò a S. Margherita, il ristorante "Da Alfredo" sarà casa mia!!! Grazie a tutti per avermi consentito di festeggiare alla grande il pranzo delle mie nozze d'argento!!!

11/06/2024: Locale storico di Santa Margherita Ligure del quale avevo un bel ricordo, ma dopo la recente esperienza non credo che tornerò. Antipasto misto insipido e orata con salsa al limone che sembrava cotta a vapore, la salsa inesistente e due fettine di limone appoggiate lì…per non parlare della pulizia del pesce, pieno di spine! Ai miei compagni è andata meglio, ma niente di memorabile. Peccato

29/08/2024: delicious pasta with small langoustines and anchovies with lemon, but the staff is rude and unprofessional, unpolite. They brought us one dish where the tuna was frozen and they couldn't even cut it, it was also oversalted and when we made comments they started being rude and yelling.

20/06/2024: Nei luoghi turistici e di mare, non sempre i posti migliori per mangiare sono in posizione vista mare. Infatti a Santa Margherita Ligure c'e' una vera osteria, Osteria n.7, appena dietro la darsena del porto turistico. A meno di 100 metri dal lungo mare, nella via interna, Osterian.7 offre una cucina ligure di qualita' a ottimi prezzi. Un bell'atmosfera da osteria tradizionale e pero' con un menu' ricco di sorprese, e una carta di dolci degna di un ottimo ristorante. Non si prenota, si va! Come si deve fare in Osteria. Le specialita' ligure sono tutte eccellenti: trofie al pesto, verdure ripiene, spaghetti alle vongole..e anche il minestrone. Servizio rapido e di qualita'! Consigliatissimo!

23/05/2024: Sono entrata per un pranzo veloce. Lo staff è stato gentile e veloce. Ho ordinato le trofie al pesto ed un fritto misto....tutto buonissimo e porzioni abbondanti....anche il prezzo è stato più che onesto... esperienza da ripetere

02/08/2024: On the one hand disappointing for some aspects related to the cuisine but the potential is there to transform it from a place for tourists to a quality venue, semi-raw baked potatoes, not fresh bread, cut with a simple and banal system, decent quality of the meat

30/07/2024: Overall, very great restaurant - in my opinion the price is a bit too high for the portion size (hence one star less), but fresh and very tasty! Service was very stressed today because of the high number of people, but they served us very nicely and the space outside directly on the yacht bay was very romantic.

11/07/2024: TOURIST TRAP! DO NOT GO HERE! OTHER REVIEWS ARE FAKE/BOUGHT. READ OTHER REAL 1STAR REVIEWS BEFORE GOING HERE We went to this place expecting it to be somewhat decent. It is a family-run place, and the daughter who is the one serving the customers was absolutely and utterly disrespectful. To begin with, she speaks perfect english, so the language barrier isn’t a problem. We ordered Aperol Spritz, and she repeated it — when we get the drinks, we find out that it is not Aperol Spritz, but a cheap rip-off that doesn’t taste anything alike. We ask her to kindly exchange it for something else, which she says “sorry only gin and tonic then”. We were about to leave the place, but then she says “okay, I can do you a favor and get you some white wine”. Ok. That’s fine — although, we find out that she charged us for both the rip-off aperol as well as the white wine. And not any white wine — of course the most expensive one on the menu. I know my wines, and we definetely did NOT get the white wine that we were charged for. We then order some kind of pasta dish with clams as well as steaks. The steaks wasn’t steaks, but instead it was litterally shish kebab (super bad quality “meat” on wooden sticks). The pasta dish didn’t contain clams, and was litterally ONLY pasta with some white sauce (that did not include clams). After making another complaint about the “clam pasta”, she says that we are lying and that it doesn’t state anywhere on the menu card that there’s clams in the dish. She REFUSED to get us a menu card, where I then had to find the menu card online to show her that I am, in fact, not lying. She then exchanges it for a “lasagna”, which did not have any meat in it at all. Super dissatisfied. Didn’t expect much from the place to begin with, but sadly there is not a single positive thing that can be said about this place. The “mother” of the place was sitting right next to us chain-smoking cigarettes, giving us very weird looks and blowing the smoke over to us. After the visit at this place, we went to Santa Margherita to get the best pizzas imaginable — which was way cheaper and way better. The bill ended up at around 180€ for 4 people. For food and drinks not being as described or as pictures on other reviews — which is either fake or the restaurant has gotten new “leadership🤣” since the pictures had been taken. To top it all off, the father of the place decided to park his car right behind our car, blocking any chance of leaving. Of course when asked to move his car, he had to smoke his not one, but two cigarettes before. I can not express this enough… DO NOT GO HERE! Giant tourist trap.

05/07/2024: Very generous portions, having already taken the mixed starter (all delicious) I was already full from the first course, I recommend ordering one course at a time, or to taste more dishes share with someone!

13/08/2024: Ristorante Antonio did not disappoint. I returned here on holiday after 4 years, and this place was on my list to visit. Food was great, service was great. Ilaria was our waitress, and she was fantastic. We sat outside and needed mosquito repellant, so bring some!

09/08/2024: Un’ottima esperienza! L’elemento principale che rende l’esperienza eccellente è la gentilezza e la preparazione dello staff. Una delle ragazze che ci ha servito (la ricciolina mora con gli occhiali) è stata davvero elegante, professionale, simpatica e accogliente. Ma soprattutto molto preparata. Il nostro vino bianco non era freddo purtroppo e lei è riuscita con grande savoir faire e formazione a farlo arrivare alla sua temperatura. Questo è sinonimo di grande professionalità. Il ristorante in sé si trova in una location moderna, romantica, tra il design e la tradizione; oltre alla sala interna c’è un bel giardino da dehor. Il menu propone dei piatti molto interessanti, i nostri molto buoni e ben presentati. Anche se nel mio spaghetto con le vongole avrei preferito più sapore. Qualità e costo sono davvero ben equilibrati. Un’ottima scoperta.

04/08/2024: Excellent ice cream shop Delicious ice cream shop, all homemade, with many flavours. We tried different flavors and I have to say they were all excellent. My favorite was the violet one, super original and colourful.

17/06/2024: Amazing pizza - sooo fresh and they gave hearts for the women 🥰They seated us a few minutes before opening and were super friendly even despite the language barrier. Highly recommend any flavor of pizza- the dough and tomato sauce was consistently good and amazingly cooked.
