21/08/2024: consigliato da un amico in vacanza abbiamo provato questo ristorante che si presente molto carino e vicinissimo alla calata del porto. il voto corretto sarebbe 3/4 ma i taglierini freschi con sugo di triglia erano veramente stupendi per cui il voto dato è salito. valore aggiunto anche la tranquillità del locale. prezzo nella media considerando che eravamo ad agosto a Santa........

19/08/2024: Just had one the nicest meals I can remember at this lovely restaurant. The “spaghetti Paranza” was absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly and attentive. Very special evening! Would highly recommend!

08/08/2024: An underrated place. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, a bit away from the main road and the main tourist traffic. But the restaurant is first class. Very delicious food, served quickly. Service as expected, prices normal. I'm delighted!

I had a tuna panini (5.50 euros) There are several varieties The spritz is 7 euros on the terrace and 6 at the bar inside Coffee 1.10 euros Good discovery Welcoming and patient staff

27/08/2024: It was a nice experience to try authentic Italian food. I have tried the prawn pasta with cream and curry, pesto pasta, and pizza with mushroom and cherry tomatoes. They were delicious. The staff were very kind. I had no reservation but they let me in.

17/07/2024: Picolo Bar is a very nice place that I recently discovered. They serve excellent, affordable coffee, which was a delightful surprise. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the staff members speaks English, making communication easy and pleasant. I plan to return frequently during my stay and am looking forward to trying their breakfast as well. Highly recommended!

10/08/2024: We ate (and are still having lunch) every day here this week... good prices for good products (today the paella was fantastic), courteous staff, in particular the brunette girl who was always very kind even with our Riccardino, unlike some customers who are disrespectful towards the work of these guys, you have all my support and I would hug you one by one. You cannot expect to have the treatment of a starred restaurant in a delicatessen with tables outside, but above all certain people should bathe in humility in front of these young people who do their utmost to always welcome people with a smile on their faces. We may be biased but as someone said "we are born gentlemen" and someone we have noticed, with an inflated bank account, will never be able to become one with certain arrogant behaviours. Only one small flaw, the paper plates which very often "absorb" the juices of the dishes... thus the slipper gets lost 😉

07/08/2024: This was by far the best restaurant in santa margherita. We had to go twice and should have gone more times and skipped all the other bad ones. All the waitresses where super nice and friendly. There were almost no tourist and a lot of local families and kids. Super nice ambience. We got free antipasti in form of pettole (fried dough with olives). We had a wonderful house wine wich comes in small and big carafes for a max. price of 15€ / liter. For both our visits we had for the antipasti the breaola with fresh parmesan and salad and the marinated shrimps with salad and tomatoes. The antipasti where super tasty and and were made freshly. For our mains we had spaghetti al pesto (everything homemade), fried calamari and gnocchi with tomatoesauce. Same as antipasty freshly made and tasted wonderful. For the dessert we had homemade tiramisu and warm applecake from a pastisserie nearby. We payed for each visit less than 70€ which is incredible for the quality of food you get. 10/10 defenitly a recommendation and we would go again the next time we visit santa margherita.

26/05/2024: Restaurant situated on the side of a hill with marvelous view on the bay beneath. The host Mattheo will guide you through the italien classic dishes in which you will find excellent flavors. Prices are very reasonable. Don't hesitate!

22/08/2024: Siano entrati in questo locale per caso fortuito e per curiosità, attratti dalle centinaia di bottiglie di vino in esposizione sugli scaffali alle pareti. Era molto affollato e con tanta gente in attesa di ordinare. Abbiamo iniziato con delle ottime acciughe ripiene e proseguito con ottime orecchiette al pesto di pistacchio con guanciale croccante . Il dessert era una golosissima pesca pochee con crema chantilly e frutti di bosco. Il tutto accompagnato da calici di vino rosso di ciliegiolo. Ritorneremo.

19/08/2024: Classica, vecchia, storica vineria di Santa Margherita Ligure, che ha saputo nel tempo sempre rinnovarsi pur nel rispetto della tradizione. Ho cenato con amici ed ho trovato tutto ottimo a cominciare dalla materia prima di alta qualità. Fantastiche le orecchiette al pesto di pistacchi e guanciale croccante, ottimo il petto d’anatra al sapore d’arancio ( in cui finalmente il sapore dell’agrume non copre quello del volatile, ma lo asseconda ) e buonissime le verdurine di contorno, cotte in un modo particolare che non saprei individuare. Ottimo il tagliere di formaggi e superlativo il tiramisù. Il tutto accompagnato da un gradevolissimo Five Roses, vino rosé pugliese, di grande lignaggio e che ha accompagnato pranzi e cene di molti americani ( in onore dei quali si narra sia stato creato ). Lo definirei un vino “ di classe “. Servizio efficiente e ambiente caratteristico e piacevole
