08/04/2026: Absolutely lovely hotel, located a few meters from the lake, with parking available, polite, helpful and kind staff

06/04/2026: Lack of understanding and helpfulness from the owners - While walking along the lakeside promenade in Bolsena, my husband and his family's hometown, where everyone knows each other, we needed to change our newborn, who was not even two months old. We had a travel changing table and everything else we needed, obviously; all we needed was a small pad. As we passed the Loriana Park Hotel, a place we know and have eaten at in the past, we politely asked if we could use the bathroom on the ground floor behind the reception, on the same floor as the bar/ice cream shop, which was open and busy at the time. The receptionist very kindly asked the owners, and the response—which we probably shouldn't have heard, but which unfortunately we did—was: "No bathroom, maybe on the sofa." The receptionist came back to us and, mortified, shook her head no. We thanked her anyway for trying to help us and left. The response truly left us speechless. In 2026, in a country where we feel at home, being denied even the use of a bathroom to change a newborn is sobering... Perhaps we should have taken the advice literally and changed the diaper right on the couch, perhaps even leaving it dirty, but out of politeness and respect, WE preferred to leave. It's a shame, because sometimes it takes very little to demonstrate a modicum of understanding and humanity.

27/12/2025: We dined at this restaurant with a table reservation. The place is large and welcoming, and the waiters are very kind! The menu can be scanned on your phone. We opted for two appetizers: the sfizio and the whitefish carpaccio; and two first courses: ravioli with truffle and parmesan cream, and shrimp ravioli. Everything was very good and tasty! Highly recommended!

03/05/2026: A trattoria we loved. We also found that they catered to celiacs and had a delicious pizza: light, crispy, and with excellent toppings. The octopus and tagliata were fresh and cooked very well. 👍 Well done, keep it up! 😍

08/04/2026: Amazing atmosphere. Sitting outside on the lake. There is a leaning tree nearby that is fun for children to climb. We were a couple with 4 hyperactive boys. The problem is that the food simply does not arrive. After an hour we gave up. There were not many people and I see no reason for the delay. Even salads and bread did not arrive. The first salad arrived after an hour and a quarter. The portions were small. The children remained hungry.

14/04/2026: A very pleasant stay at the Hotel Holiday on Lake Bolsena. A truly excellent location, practically on the lake: waking up and having breakfast with that view makes all the difference. The in-room breakfast was a great plus: simple but thoughtful, with quality ingredients, and served in a truly relaxing setting, especially on the balcony. The room was clean and comfortable, ideal for a few days' getaway and enjoying the tranquility of the place. Recommended for those seeking relaxation, a lake view, and a stress-free atmosphere.

03/05/2026: I went to "Filoni" Stella sul Lago as a couple several months ago, and today for a first communion. Excellent service, delicious, traditional, and abundant lake and seafood dishes. The atmosphere is also excellent, with a lakeside location and plenty of green space for children. I need to go back more often!

07/03/2026: Maybe it was "off-season," but the restaurant was still fully booked. The wine list was extremely limited, with many missing; the offerings were mostly bulk. The seafood appetizers were prepackaged, the seafood rice was frozen, and only one dried-up shrimp. The grilled fish was tasteless. The price was too high for the quality. The atmosphere was noisy when crowded. The lakeside location is beautiful, especially in the summer.

14/02/2026: I've been coming here since I was a child. Yes, the facilities are a bit outdated, but that gives it a charming, old-world feel, and the peace and quiet are a great way to escape from everyday life. I can wholeheartedly give it 5 stars.

10/10/2025: The pitches are quite spacious. The campsite has a restaurant and a small supermarket. There's a good beach with beautiful views.
