10/05/2025: Very kind owners, vast choice of wines and excellent beer, in a characteristic place! Absolutely worth trying for an aperitif, dinner and even after dinner!

16/03/2025: Upon arriving in Bolsena and unloading for our stay, this is the very first place we spied. Little did we know then that it would be the jewel of our 5 day visit. This is the most charming Enoteca, run by its new owners Andrea and Sofia. We began almost every day and ended every night here, except for the 1 day they were closed. We were greeted warmly each time by the owners, and they always served the most delicious wines and spritz, along with a variety of wonderful bruschetta and torelli snacks. It is a cozy place to settle in for the evening and engage in conversation with the owners and patrons. We met some very lovely people and the talk revolved around music, wine, food, location and just life in general. We took part in a couple impromptu tastings, and after a while I gave myself over to whatever wine they recommended for me. They even helped us set up a great tour at a nearby winery. They are a credit to Bolsena and play no small part in why we wish to return there again.

09/05/2025: Ottima quanto insolita idea quella di una pizzeria di effettuare la sera del 31 dicembre normale servizio a la carte: si può stare bene senza spendere cifre folli! Abbiamo cenato qui, antipasti vari pizza e dolce spendendo meno di 30 Euro a persona. E fin qui abbiamo tutti apprezzato. Peccato che parte degli antipasti non sia arrivata a tutti, o comunque, le lenticchie col cotechino a centrotavola erano insufficienti ma soprattutto la pizza è veramente da rivedere, fin troppo sottile e troppo cotta, da risultare bruciata, il pomodoro era pochissimo e quindi la pizza era secca ed eccessivamente salata. Sinceramente non mangiavo una pizza così poco soddisfacente da anni.

24/05/2025: Oggi mi trovavo in provincia di Viterbo con un caro amico, in visita al suo paese d'origine, Latera! Con l'occasione mi ha portato sul lago di Bolsena per il pranzo, e...dopo un paio di tentativi falliti perché i locali erano soldout, ci siamo imbattuti per caso nel "Ristorante il Gabbiano"; direi che siamo stati fortunati a fermarci lì, personale squisitamente cordiale e accogliente, cibo SQUISITO...ci siamo orientati sul pesce...e panorama da lasciarci senza fiato!! È stata una giornata di partenza con un clima stupendo e pranzare in riva al lago all'aperto con la giornata meravigliosa che è stata non ha avuto prezzo! Avete una location incredibile e ci sapete davvero fare, soldi spesi BENISSIMO e quando mangio BENE non li rimpiango MAI, a presto e grazie.

16/05/2025: Friendly staff, great location right on the lake, and spectacular at sunset. Unfortunately, the food doesn't quite measure up. The salad consists almost entirely of green lettuce leaves, and the tuna, which cost €22, consisted of two tiny pieces, as is typical in Italy, with no side dishes. In summary, a nice atmosphere but unfortunately overpriced.
