27/10/2024: Tricky with parking as there is no carpark. Had to leave the car like 300meters away, outside someone’s house. The actual place is really nice. Great lake view. Feels cosy and homely. The guys were super cool as tried to speak in Italian with my terribly broken Italian without switching to English and at the end without properly knowing what we ordered, he brought us some lovely food:)

22/08/2024: Nice place in the heart of the medieval village of Bolsena, with colorful tables and chairs along the street. Even inside the place is very pleasant to the eye. Impeccable service, very friendly, attentive, fast. In 10 people, 3 of which were children, we were able to taste pici seasoned in different ways, amatriciana, carbonara and with saffron, onion, courgettes, cherry tomatoes and bacon. All very good. The roasted suckling pig and lamb and both cooked and grilled vegetables are also excellent. Promoted and recommended!

05/11/2024: servizio molto buono, il personale è attento ma non invasivo, con dei modi di fare che ti fanno sentire a casa. noi abbiamo ordinato carne e l'abbiamo trovata di ottima qualità. non abbiamo avuto problemi per la presenta del nostro cane ( e non è scontato) anzi hanno dato attenzioni anche a lui! che dire..... tutto perfetto!

02/11/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo, il pranzo non è stato male anzi il cibo non era male soprattutto la carbonara. Il problema che ha reso il pranzo poco rilassante è stata la presenza di mosche, ma tantissime. Alla richiesta da parte nostra al cameriere di risolvere il problema ha detto: “ le mosche esistono” e da lì abbiamo scoperto l’esistenza delle mosche.

21/09/2024: Factory on the shores of Lake Bolsena not far from the town. We were two families with 3 children, 2 of which were under three years old. Beautiful well-kept lawn with regular ground (they don't even lay towels on the ground to preserve the turf), beach-style umbrellas and sunbeds. The entrance into the water is characterized by large stones but on the left, near the pier, there is a strip of sand to enter without problems, clean water even in the afternoon, the best stretch of the lake still remains the Bolsena Montefiascone Marta Capodimonte side both for water cleaning and landscaping. The catering part can be improved: you have to order at the bar from the relevant menu, indicating the table number and take a drink, then the waiter will bring the ordered food, which is very good, to the table. Unfortunately it is not written anywhere and, at least to us, no one has told us.

And I would also add that the condiments are of excellent quality! But do we want to talk about the tomato? The basis of almost all stuffed pizzas: from margherita to diavola or napoli, the tomato 🍅 of Avalon pizzas can't be beat! Tasty, fragrant, unique! In Tuscia there is no other place better than this if you are a 🍕 addict! It goes without saying that beer goes well with pizza, and what beer! Excellent Guiness, as is the service, the location and the staff who are always courteous and smiling. Well done everyone!

31/07/2024: Truly excellent pizzas, speed of service, good prices and a very beautiful location, in the center of Bolsena. The only flaw was that, as soon as I ordered for dinner, I was brought the paper to clean up some kicks from the dog who had drunk and had spilled some water. (It had never happened to me. I would have asked anyway out of fairness).

03/11/2024: Siamo stati in questa osteria per ben due sere consecutive. Personale accogliente e cibo ottimo. Spaziale la trippa alla romana così come i pici alla cacio e pepe e i pici alla carbonara. Buonissimo anche lo spezzatino di cinghiale al vino rosso e i lunghetti. Consigliati ottimamente sul vino dal personale di sala.
