17/03/2025: We booked with The Fork and, while in other places we noticed a certain difference both in the service and in the choice of courses, here at "Il Torrione" we did not notice any difference between us and the other "common" diners. The position of the table is beautiful, the staff are very kind and super helpful and the dishes... Exquisite to say the least! Just to say: fried polenta and mushrooms, as well as the pear and pecorino ravioli and the citrus mayonnaise, made me close my eyes at how delicious they were! Truly flavors never tasted before. I would add: I am a vegetarian and there is a lot of choice on the menu. Thank you!!!

09/03/2025: Exceptional food, excellent service, they are very kind and I thank them for serving the little girl immediately so as not to make her wait. Relaxing and pleasant background music. A small restaurant but worth trying if you are passing through Subiaco or on a nice detour. Truly a nice discovery

20/04/2025: Excellent experience at this restaurant. We tasted an appetizer (potato and artichoke pie), a first course (with asparagus) and a tiramisu. All very good and tasty. Adequate price. I highly recommend.

21/04/2025: Very nice place, suggestive terrace on the river, I didn't like the fixed menu. We were there today, Easter Monday, we tried both the meat menu and the fish menu of their production, trout and sturgeon, and honestly we were not very impressed, even if the quantity was not bad. The menus are composed of appetizer, first course, second course and tiramisu at 55€/60€ per person for both meat and lake fish. In my opinion it seemed a bit too much especially if you eat "trout"

13/04/2025: Restaurant surrounded by nature with the sound of the river in the background... We ate very well, the specialties are obviously the dishes with river fish, which however I didn't eat because I don't prefer it... On the other hand I ate a tagliatella with a really delicious ragù! Really good local products as well as the land starter! Friendly and helpful staff! Highly recommended!

25/04/2025: Terrible experience, I trusted the good reviews but absolutely the food is of poor quality. Be very careful with the receipts as they are far different from what is written on the menu.

16/03/2025: We went here for lunch today. As soon as we entered, we were surrounded by a relaxing environment, with background music, a very cozy place, where you can have lunch in complete tranquility. The guys who welcomed and served us were very professional, polite and kind. Excellent food, arrived on time. Excellent value for money. We loved it, we will return and recommend it.

26/04/2025: We stopped for lunch here almost by chance and it was an excellent experience. High quality food and abundant quantities, perfect formula for a quiet lunch break a few steps from the center. Noteworthy is the professionalism of the staff, friendly and nice. Highly recommended!

06/04/2025: Anyone passing through Subiaco knows that Bonzo is an obligatory stop, quality food, impeccable service and the girls and boys who work there are friendly, polite and professional. You can enjoy a vast choice of foods, from sandwiches of all kinds with first choice meat, to wines, to cocktails, all delicious, all you have to do is stop and try it for yourself. You will be satisfied and will return without fail. Top!!!!

A culinary experience between "gourmet" and traditional cuisine: a mix that brings you back to the "origins". Pleasant atmosphere with cloying landscape. The cellar should be expanded with excellent and more expensive wines! For the most demanding: there is great Expertise on champagne which, here in the country is rare!. The only note: the Customer, even if alone, and at an unusual time, must not be directed to a place that only He chooses in compliance with the needs and reservations of the restaurant. 04/01/2025: If you are looking for a place to feel at home with amazing dishes and welcoming service... YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE. With a couple of friends and two four-legged friends we had the pleasure of tasting flavors that taste like home (one of us is Calabrian)... the menu on the blackboard, the passion of the two owners and the landscape of Monte Livata are were the strong points of this wonderful little corner. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED❤️

10/04/2025: Siamo stati qui con un gruppo di 50 persone e siamo stati accolti con gentilezza dal personale. Ristorante davvero gradevole in tutto. Ottimo servizio. La cucina è il top, piatti genuini e semplici ma di ottima qualità. Se un giorno ritorneremo a Subiaco, mangeremo sicuramente qui.

07/04/2025: La recensione è per "Il Cristallo di Borgia" degli stessi proprietari che si trova sempre a Subiaco in piazza Santa Maria della Valle al civico 30. È uno dei posti che concentra un po’ tutto; lo stile medievale del posto, l'indiscussa qualità dei prodotti, l’armoniosa location, l’eleganza nel presentare la tavola ed anche un’ampia scelta di vini di assoluta considerazione. A ciò, si unisce il garbo della signora Irene e l’immancabile e piacevole compagnia di Maurizio. Consiglio vivamente, personalmente credo che tutte le volte che salirò a Subiaco (RM) sarà difficile tradire queste persone.

17/04/2025: A place of Peace. Clean rooms and good service throughout (bar, restaurant, reception). Herbalist shop full of products for care but also for the palate. The history of San Benedetto always fascinates, here you will find his true identity. The church and the entire monastery will envelop you and warm your heart.

05/03/2025: Don't be discouraged by the 3 ramps you have to climb to reach the property. You park underneath, go up the aforementioned ramps and find yourself in a magical courtyard with a splendid view of Subiaco and where you can also eat in the summer. The internal restaurant room is very large and vintage, embellished with fine marble and classic furnishings. Typical and tasty dishes on the menu. The owner is very helpful and kind. Highly recommended!

09/02/2025: Beautiful location....dated, which maintains the atmosphere and the historical charm of the structure. Beautiful location with a view, both for the restaurant and for the room. Excellent dinner for adults and children (we were 2 adults and 2 children), overnight stay in the room and excellent and abundant breakfast. Home atmosphere from the owner Fabrizio. Recommended even just for a pleasant tasty stop.
