Christmas lunch is a challenging and often challenging experience, but they were perfect in terms of timing, service, and food quality.
We'll return on a more relaxed evening to appreciate it all even more.

Spectacular view of the lake, very close to the train station, great for getting around Rome!
Good food! Evocative and unique rooms! Lots of internal steps!

10/05/2026: We were passing through and decided to try this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The owner is very kind and honest, the portions are generous, and the seafood is top-notch. The interior decor is perhaps a little dated and homey, but it's well-maintained and clean. Highly recommended, especially now that summer is here!
03/05/2026: The restaurant is a bit mediocre; the food is good, but the service is terrible. I had to eat alone, and I hate eating alone, because my boyfriend's dish took a long time to arrive.
More importantly, we were near a large umbrella that fell on us, hitting my partner on the head.

13/05/2026: Excellent food, excellent service, and a very warm welcome. We had dinner with salad, pizza, and dessert. Everything was fresh and flavorful, which is rare. The service was attentive. The wine selection was excellent, offering a range of high quality. This demonstrates a staff that is dedicated to pleasing its customers and knows its craft. Well done!

07/04/2026: Oh my God, zero desire to work, the girl alone, not even a smile, she didn't toast my sandwiches. I wanted to get a drink and she said, "Well, pay in the meantime or my payment for the POS will expire," 'Really, in such a hurry!!! You must have the pleasure of welcoming customers and you need to always be smiling and polite! The staff makes you change!!! I got a drink somewhere else.

The restaurant is deliberately edgy and quirky in its decor.
The menu offers a wide selection.
We ate well, with generous and carefully prepared portions.
The price was reasonable for the location.
The free parking next to the restaurant is excellent.

We visited for lunch on a tour.
We had spaghetti carbonara, grilled chicken skewers, and tart.
From the terrace, you can see Lake Albano and Gandolfo Castle on the mountain beyond.

03/05/2026: My wife and I had been there a year ago and were half satisfied, we decided to go back and we did well, excellent service, good fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, good lamb, good everything, only downside was too much pepper on the grilled vegetables, thanks, we will come and visit you again

Delicious food. Superb carbomatriciana and incredibly tender roast beef.
The owner, Walter, does his job with professionalism, kindness, and a natural charm.
We spent three days in and around Albano, and the best cuisine was his.

If you care about your hearing, stay away.
17/05/2026: One star is an understatement. We had a reservation for Saturday. The staff assured us that if it rained, as it was an outdoor event, we would be notified of the cancellation. When we arrived at the venue, we were told that the event had been moved to a nearby venue due to the rain. Once there, there were no tables, and the staff had not been notified of anything. We called the venue and a rather haughty girl answered. After explaining the inconvenience caused to us and the birthday reservation that had practically been cancelled, she thought it best to tell us that we could stay home if it rained. I advise this person to change jobs because this job really isn't for her!

10/05/2026: 5 stars. I celebrated my daughter's first communion, perfect service. Exceptional food, very fresh fish. The manager's organization is noteworthy: excellent organization, she managed and organized everything impeccably. We'll be back and definitely recommend it.

I would have at least included a little cheese in the appetizer; there were only two slices of salami, one of prosciutto, and some pickled vegetables.
The first course was good, nothing to complain about.
The second course was a small sausage and two pieces of lamb, served with baked potatoes.
The only sore point was the millefeuille with cream and chocolate. Honestly, it's misleading from the menu, since the millefeuille consisted of crumbled millefeuille biscuits, not the actual millefeuille cake.
The flavors were good, but more transparency on the menu would have been helpful.
