Suddenly you stop in front of Stato Brado and decide that maybe you might like some well-done meat. Gentlemen, well it is limiting. Incredible environment, absurd knowledge of the product, incredible flavors and stratospheric quality. We ate mixed carpaccio, tartare and sliced ​​wagyu and I can't tell you what an experience it was. Top three of my life. Gaeta was in extreme need of these kids.

19/12/2024: I have been many times for lunch and dinner in this small place but it is worth visiting for the goodness of the traditional tielle and more. Obviously I recommend fish-based menus but you can also choose something else. Absolutely worth trying is the typical dish "la votopiatto". The kindness of the owners and staff then do the rest. In short, if you happen to be in Gaeta, don't forget to stop by ANDALE.

08/12/2024: Located at the entrance to the medieval area, the restaurant is welcoming and informal. The very courteous and non-intrusive staff were able to guide us in choosing tasty dishes. We started with a seafood appetizer (perhaps a little expensive for what they offer), marinated anchovies and poached octopus. All very good but the best were the courgette flowers with battered anchovies. Then obviously we tasted the paellas (with 1 they eat 2 people) which were good and delicate. Attention ⚠️ on Fri.Sat.Sun.stop on the seafront and not in the street of the restaurant because the restricted traffic zone is activated.

05/01/2025: Praticamente il top... Abbiamo mangiato un risotto alla crema di scampi e scialatielli allo scoglio a dir poco squisiti... Una frittura sublime... Dolci molto buoni e soprattutto accoglienza, professionalità e tanta tanta disponibilità condita da simpatia... Ugo è una persona speciale e molto molto professionale! SUPER!

05/01/2025: Finalmente siamo riusciti a prenotare per il pranzo, il ristorante ha accolto anche il nostro cane e non è da tutti. Piatti abbondanti e pesce fresco, prezzo giusto per la qualità e bontà di quanto degustato. Ottima la falangina di loro produzione e servizio attento e puntuale. Da provare e ritornare. Come diceva mia nonna “pe cient’anni” e nel loro caso, essendo già al primo secolo, per altri 100 anni, a salut vostra e nostra.

The grilled sea bream I ate was very fresh and cooked perfectly to enhance the freshness of the product. Welcoming and kind staff. The two owner brothers work hard to make guests feel at ease. Adequate quality/price ratio. The quality/price ratio of the wines is excellent.

06/01/2025: I went to this restaurant for the first time tonight with my partner. We were attracted by the look of the place: very nice, located in front of the marina. It is family-run. An impeccable, fast service and a kindness that is difficult to find. Finally, a different cuisine: not the usual spaghetti with clams, risotto with scampi and everything we are used to finding in a fish restaurant... all very good. A cuisine with attention to detail. Fair value for money. I highly recommend it to everyone. We will be back.

14/01/2025: A Saturday in Gaeta and a tip from a local to eat something quick before an appointment.... The Butcher's shop! A little old environment with some infiltration on the ceiling which was found well and contributes to a pleasant environment. Lively welcome from the owner who, together with the cook, governs the place. Let's start with a mussel health and a chickpea and clam soup: the first ones are not very tasty and a little forced in the dish served and I'm not enthusiastic about the soup... a little salty and a little too soupy. Followed by spaghetti Gaetana with anchovies, fennel, olives, tomato which for me are too pimpy... but my wife likes it and a fujto cod parmigiana, who had seen little of cod. White house wine Malvasia Puntonato and Trebbiano conclude a less than satisfactory visit... with a bill of around €60. correct. ps if we ate better even more correct

07/09/2024: Mentre allattavo mia figlia di 2 mesi in terrazza mi hanno tolto sedia e tavolo per preparare i tavoli alla ristorazione. Spruzzando detersivo quasi in faccia sembravamo dei fantasmi. Di sera prima di andare via gentilmente chiediamo una pizza d'asporto e ti dicono di no perché sono pieni di ordini, ma i pizzaioli erano fermi ad aspettare visto che la terrazza era vuota e non ancora arrivava nessuno cliente. Insomma la gentilezza e il rispetto sono banditi da questo lido.

30/12/2024: You go there and you come back and then you come back and then you come back again and again! Nice setting, lovely staff, great cocktails and good food at very reasonable prices. The tapas formula is perfect for an aperitif, but if you stay and taste something more it becomes a good dinner. Chicken popcorn is a must for children who then, by tasting some tacos or bao, enjoy a good and tasty meal.

15/12/2024: Excellent experience. We booked dinner and arrived on time, they immediately accompanied us to our table with a smile. Very friendly and polite staff. The salmon tartare is excellent. The cod as a second course is very good. The desserts are superb. Lots of attention to detail. Compliments to the chef. We'll be back.

10/11/2024: This spot was fantastic! From the second we walked in the service was fantastic and the calamari was sooo good! We asked the waiter where the bus stop was to get back to the train station and he not only told us but then looked up the time schedule for us. After the waiter realized the bus was not going to get us back in time to make the train. Someone who spoke good English came out of the kitchen and not only helped us come up with a plan but also arranged for us to get a private taxi to come pick us up in town and take us to make our train. Seriously above and beyond service. We are so grateful for all of you help and hospitality! Cheers 🥂
