14/02/2026: We dined on February 14, 2026, and despite not having a reservation (which I recommend so you don't wait too long), we were seated very quickly.
Although the name is French, it's an American-style pub where you can also sit and eat at the bar, just like American tradition.
We tried a hot dog with sausage and fries, and the "Prepotente" sandwich.
The burger was nice and thick and cooked just right, with super crispy bacon and truly well-balanced flavors.
The service is quite fast.
There's an excellent selection of draft beers and a vast menu that offers vegan and FIT options, suitable for every occasion.
07/10/2025: A place with a French name but an American feel, good draft beer, fairly fast service, and a lively atmosphere.
The burger we ordered was tasty, but the amount of meat was insufficient.
The fries were dry and warm, but tasted like frozen food.
The sauces were typically industrial.
Overall, a good experience, but with a few tweaks, it could be exceptional (homemade fries and sauces, 200g burgers)... they have the skills, but perhaps that's enough.

We had a great meal here last night. Menu was interesting, including a few very nice vegetarian options. We really appreciated the bruschetta when we arrived; it’s always good to have something special included in the coperta. Highly recommend.

23/10/2025: Despite the line on Sunday morning, the service was fast and very efficient. The products (pizza and tiella gaetana) are so good they're worth the line. The restaurant is open all day except on its weekly closing day. The ingredients used are very good. I recommend anyone in the area to stop by and savor the owner's delicacies.

09/12/2025: The pizza and tiella were not bad, but the price was out of proportion for the quantity, and this last time they sold us a reheated tiella left over.
02/12/2025: We were there on Sunday for the Christmas lights, and after some online research, I decided to go to "Pizzeria del Porto" to try the Tiella.
What can I say? It was a perfect choice! My wife and I tried two tiellas: "escarole and cod" and "calamari," both simply fantastic, each better than the last. Our kids had pizzas: "Margherita" and "potatoes and sausage," both delicious as well.
A little gem overlooking the Gaeta harbor. Kudos to the entire staff.

18/02/2026: We had a wonderful time on a rainy winter evening in Gaeta, while most restaurants were closed.
Angelica welcomed us warmly and professionally. We enjoyed the unusual yet fitting reggae music that accompanied our dinner, which was served very promptly.
A special mention goes to the excellent tempura cod with escarole. Everything else was delicious, too.

17/02/2026: We went to Antico Vico for my father's birthday. I'd already been there with my friends, and since it was such a pleasant discovery, I decided to return with my parents for my father's birthday. They, like me, appreciated the elegant yet delicious cuisine.
A special mention goes to Angelica, patient and always smiling in accommodating our requests. She also advised us on the wine selection, perfectly understanding our tastes.
I will definitely return with both my family and friends.

18/02/2026: The owners are friendly: a big Neapolitan guy and his very kind partner from Santo Domingo.
The place is very simple but welcoming and clean.
Sangria, fried fish, and paella are SPECTACULAR. The best paella I've ever had after Seville. Better than the original in Valencia. The price is right.

10/01/2026: The rooms are unfortunately dirty and dusty, and the balcony overlooking the sea is their strong point.
The service doesn't refer to the dining room staff, who, with skill and professionalism, always satisfied us. He was truly the person who raised the stars awarded.
The amenities were lacking; I asked about the gym, and it seemed like I'd asked for who knows what, simply specifying the cost, but it seemed like something had offended him.
The hotel, despite the season, was still quite expensive, so much so that there was almost no one there.
The breakfast was truly poor.
The quality/price ratio was truly incomprehensible.
I don't recommend it!

04/01/2026: We've been to the taverna often, and it's become a regular stop on every visit to Gaeta. I recommend the tagliata di mino and the fillet steak with beer and honey.
06/12/2025: We came with some colleagues for the Christmas lights... the staff were very kind, the food was delicious, especially the gnocchi with sea bream sauce... the octopus was spectacular and the cold cuts were of high quality, definitely worth repeating.

26/12/2025: The strong point of this historic bar is definitely its location. The location is strategic, and the tables are arranged so that the sun always shines warmly in the winter, and there's a lovely awning to protect you from the summer heat!
The family that runs it has been there for decades, and their desire to continue serving well-made coffee, to locals and tourists alike, makes the service its other strong point.
