17/08/2025: Yesterday we had dinner at Civico 57. It was a fairly quiet place. The staff was excellent, and the food was equally good. P.S.: The spaghetti with clams was delicious. Will we be back? Of course.

30/08/2025: I was there in August and the pizzas were very good, and the tomatoes didn't have a sour taste like you get in some seafood pizzerias.
15/08/2025: A separate lab for dietary preparations (gluten-free and dairy-free). Excellent pizza. There's no table service, but you can sit outside after picking up your order at the counter. I'd say it's an excellent solution and a lot of attention.

05/06/2025: Posto meraviglioso personale gentile ,paziente e con tanta cura e attenzione nei confronti del cliente . Io e mia madre ci siamo sentite coccolate . Il cibo è di altissima qualità e un sapore che ricorda le cucine di una volta . Ci ritorneremo presto ❤️

(Nulla da togliere al Cameriere molto professione e molto attento) un applauso va allo chef…Affettati di buona qualità come tutto il resto .. siamo stati con le moto e le moto sono state custodite dinanzi il locale sott occhio .. consigliato 100x100… PS servizi sanitari da prendere da esempio come modello da emitare per la pulizia e profumo 👏👏👏

15/08/2025: A very beautiful and well-kept place. I tried the Iberian ham (truly delicious and very similar to what I've eaten in Spain). Then I chose a seafood sandwich that included tuna tartare, very good, fresh, and top quality!
I'll definitely try the meat sandwiches again.

30/08/2025: I went to Rocesare two years ago in the winter and went back this year in August, and it was a real disappointment. There wasn't a single dish we liked. We had the seafood appetizer, which wasn't of any quality. We had gnocchi with mussels and pecorino, which was a real disappointment: the gnocchi were undercooked and oddly shaped, the sauce was made with tomatoes full of annoying skins, and the pecorino wasn't there. My daughter had a steak that took a very long time to arrive, and it was badly cut and cooked even worse. After tasting the dishes, we decided not to order anything else because everything was really bad.
20/08/2025: Wonderful experience! Spacious and clean, with ample parking. Super professional and friendly waiters, generous but above all delicious dishes. The spaghetti is truly homemade, as are the desserts. The spaghetti with clams is highly recommended. The price is absolutely in line with the offerings.
We scanned the QR code on the bill, which is truly disappointing. The fundraising effort does you credit.

A very elegant restaurant, impeccable service, exquisite and succulent dishes, not to mention the immense wine list with fine wines, and last but not least, the prices are fair. Furthermore, both fish and meat dishes are served. If I really have to nitpick, but it could be subjective because I am a good eater, perhaps everything would be perfect if the dishes were slightly more abundant. All in all, if you want to eat well and want to make a good impression by inviting someone to lunch or dinner, this is the right restaurant!
05/09/2025: We found ourselves in the area after a stroll through Formia, and stopped at this restaurant, a Slow Food Presidium.
They brought us an entrée while we waited to order. With a wide selection of wines, we opted for marzolino cheese, fried calamari, a mixed house antipasto, and eggplant parmigiana. We continued with ricotta-filled ravioli and seared cuttlefish with a side of chicory. For a total of €130,
Very professional service.
They have both an indoor and outdoor dining area.

25/08/2025: A simple fishmonger's shop from the outside, but once you sit down and eat, it's a real spectacle.
Fish, first courses, second courses, appetizers, fried dishes—something incredible. I personally had cooked salmon with side dishes, two mixed fried fish dishes, one calamari dish, and for the first course, the seafood lasagna. What can I say, ladies and gentlemen? Delicious, to say the least. The atmosphere is very basic, but if you want to return to tradition and origins, it's the perfect place.
I highly recommend going.

14/08/2025: I recently stopped at Caffè Italia in Formia, craving something more intriguing than a simple espresso. I must say I was immediately struck by the ambiance: an airy, well-maintained space with a lovely outdoor area, perfect for relaxing with friends, morning or evening.
I ordered a cocktail and was pleasantly surprised by the selection: the menu offers a decidedly wide selection of cocktails and aperitifs, including various spritzes, classic long drinks, gin and tonics, mojitos, caipirinhas, margaritas, and much more. Prices are average for the area—roughly between €1 and €10.
The cocktail I chose was well-balanced, carefully prepared, and served in a suitable glass, with an immediately striking presentation. Overall, the service was courteous and professional—at least for me.
Regarding the price, my drink seemed in line with the quality offered: it's not cheap, but overall it reflected what you'd expect from a cocktail made with select ingredients in a pleasant setting.
In short, for me, Caffè Italia remains an excellent choice for an aperitivo or evening drink: the atmosphere is inviting, the selection of drinks is extensive and well-curated, and the staff overall contributed to a pleasant experience. My only advice is to avoid the busiest hours if you want to enjoy your cocktail at a leisurely pace.

02/08/2025: We had an excellent experience at La Fontanella Restaurant. We were greeted by the very friendly owner who immediately made us feel at home, as if we were visiting old friends rather than a restaurant. Our lunch was all about the freshest seafood, and the dishes were all delicious and of the highest quality. Everything we ate was reasonably priced, and we were also offered coffee and liqueurs. We will definitely be back, and we will cherish the wonderful memories of this culinary and human experience. See you soon.
