09/11/2025: Just finished lunch, authentic food, very fair prices, very helpful staff. Autumn menu featuring fish (but there was also a meat option), from appetizer to dessert, drinks included, all for €30 per person. One of the few restaurants worthy of the name. The dessert deserves a special mention: cheesecake with fresh berries. Delicious. Highly recommended.

25/10/2025: The experience was already terrible when it came to choosing the courses, as Mrs. Regina didn't even know the dishes included in the Cisternone appetizer. The uncertainty of the display made me think they'd improvised from whatever was in the pantry or refrigerator. At this point, I opted for a platter; the cured meats and cheeses were not bad, but I still didn't understand how the pumpkin had been prepared. At the lady's recommendation (never again), I chose the paccheri porcini and gamberoni. Just tasting one because I was already scared by the color of the sauce, apparently dark due to the poor-quality frozen-frozen prawns and the mushrooms listed on the menu as porcini. Unfortunately, it was a mix of sautéed mushrooms (frozen-frozen), I was disgusted, and not even the very acidic red wine could cover the pasta's terrible flavor. In the end, I decided to pay the bill and opt for another restaurant in the area that I'm about to review.

20/10/2025: This bar was a lovely surprise! I had breakfast with a friend, and the cappuccino and whole wheat croissant were really good. Very quick table service, even though there were quite a few people there. The prices were fair compared to many other bars in the area!

The interior is characteristic: rustic, with stonework and arched walls. Dining in the charming square in front of the tower is a pleasure, with an intimate atmosphere. The extensive menu, accessible by scanning the QR code, includes appetizers (mostly platters), first courses, grilled main courses, side dishes, pizzas, and panuozzi. There is also a wide selection of drinks, wines, and beers. The first courses are excellent: they are prepared with such care and attention that the high quality of the ingredients is highlighted. The meat is delicious, so tender it melts in your mouth thanks to its exquisite quality. The veal tagliata, with cacio e pepe sauce, accompanied by a glass of good red wine is one of the most beautiful and delicious culinary experiences. The desserts are also truly exquisite, perfect for pampering your palate and enjoying a sweet treat at the end of a meal. The staff is kind and friendly: their attentive service makes guests feel at ease.

17/08/2025: The food was effortlessly full of soul and passion. We left the appetizers and mains up to the chef, and were surprised with the best seafood dishes we have tried in Formia so far. I recommend it for those who are up to discover new flavors, guaranteed that they will enjoy every bite.

23/08/2025: Excellent products, average prices, and the service depends on who's there. When men are there, they're very courteous and polite; they even provide a tray, napkins if needed, and a plastic bag for carrying it. The woman, on the other hand, puts everything in a greasy paper bag and hands it to you without even putting it in a bag. Furthermore, she has the habit, after the person asks for what they need, of saying, "Just this?!?" I don't think it's polite.

14/08/2025: There was no wait because it's takeout only. I remembered the quality of the pizza and focaccia, which unfortunately is now non-existent. Last week I bought €20 worth of pizzas, from Margherita to zucchini, plus a focaccia topping. Flavorless shoe soles... a disgrace! In other times, I would have complained in person, which is my preferred method because it's more correct, but what's the point these days? Only what passes for a review counts, so I'll go along with it.

20/09/2025: I gave two stars because the food was excellent, but the service and price were out of line. Service received €3 cover charge €20 for a cacio e pepe without the shrimp tartar because I'm allergic A dessert was €10 The bill was given without any details. The pre-bill was given only after I paid and asked. The waiters were distracted and even a little annoyed. I'm sorry, but since I'm someone who eats all the time, going out for work for me has to be a positive experience, not a negative one, because I notice so many things that aren't right.
