10/07/2025: I celebrated my birthday. Everyone was extremely satisfied.

06/07/2025: The location is the only plus point of this restaurant, otherwise an experience to absolutely forget. We went for dinner on Saturday night at 9 pm and, to our great surprise, we were told that two fish dishes we wanted to order were not available. We were therefore forced to settle for the grilled food, the only alternative offered. The raw fish appetizers were the first alarm bell: the tuna did not taste like tuna, the spider crab tasteless. Then, instead of the first courses, the grilled food was brought directly to us. After an excessive wait, we asked for the first courses: they had not yet arrived and, at that point, we asked to cancel them. The response? "You ordered them, so you pay for them anyway." One of the three first courses arrived shortly after, evidently reheated: hot dish, dry and tasteless pasta. When we observed this, the waiter responded rudely, sarcastically inviting us to go to the kitchen to check if there was a microwave. Unacceptable. The last two plates of spaghetti with lupini beans arrived even later. Freshly made, decent, but nothing that could improve the experience. After we expressed our disappointment, the staff began to openly show us annoyance. We were treated with condescension and rudeness. In conclusion, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is the classic tourist place where the quality of the food is poor and the service leaves much to be desired. A wasted opportunity in a beautiful location.

03/08/2025: Truly rude, they let their friends and regulars go first both in line and when ordering. I've been coming here for three years, and this will be my last time. Prices are high, but the quality of food and service is very poor.

31/07/2025: An absolute surprise! Everything was splendid... harmony and elegance galore! We had lunch at the seafront restaurant and enjoyed a salted caramel parfait... we'll be back as soon as possible!

19/08/2025: Poor quality and very expensive pizza.

19/08/2025: The pizza is good, especially the dough. However, the service was extremely slow: we had to wait an inordinate amount of time for every request. Furthermore, the staff was rude and unhelpful, with no attention to the customer, which made the pizza itself even more disappointing given the long wait. It's a shame, because with a little more professionalism and courtesy, the experience would have been completely different.

29/08/2025: A pub with its history, frequented by all age groups.. From young people to families.. To the not-so-young 😅.. I've often found live music too.. An excellent option for the area.. Just outside the chaos of the center.. So you can often find a parking lot nearby too..

07/09/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant, located in the center of Chioggia along the canal. It's a very beautiful and well-maintained restaurant in a stunning location. The dishes are carefully prepared and delicious, with the fish definitely fresh. The service, however, could use some updating. The staff was kind, but they moved us because the kitchen staff was passing by, even though the waitress hadn't said anything before. After bringing us drinks, another waitress came over and asked if we had a reservation. It takes ages to bring the dishes... but instead, they take them away while you're still eating. Two and a half hours for an appetizer and two main courses. We went elsewhere for dessert, otherwise we'd have had to wait another hour.

26/08/2025: Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. The food was good, but the grilled fish selection was very limited, making it all the more expensive. The service was also not particularly attentive and even less than attentive. It's a shame we spent our last evening in Chioggia there.

09/08/2025: Our salmon lasagna looked and tasted like a convenience store product. Absolutely inedible. We returned the food and, when paying, informed the manager that the food wasn't good. He left with a smile and a shrug. No apology or any kind of response. Not recommended.

08/08/2025: The food was a disgrace. We couldn't eat it because it was so inedible (salmon lasagna and the ricotta spinach dish). The waiter cleared the full plates and didn't say anything. When we told him the food wasn't good, he just shrugged his shoulders. In my opinion, the meals were pure convenience foods, like you'd buy at a supermarket. It's a disgrace that you have to pay full price for them.

27/05/2025: Locale molto caratteristico. Abbiamo cenato fuori di fronte al porto al tramonto, molto bello. Piatti buonissimi, forse l’attesa è stata un po’ lunga ma comunque non avevamo fretta. Consigliato

23/05/2025: Accoglienza e buon mangiare questa in modo stringato la mia esperienza. Ho assaporato due classici del luogo cappesante e sarde e gamberi in saor. Tutto molto delicato e ben fatto un calice di vino per innaffiare e una gentilezza che non guasta mai! Da provare ..

07/07/2025: We had lunch at Canarin right on the beach and we were very satisfied! The fried calamari and scampi were exceptional, crispy and tasty, a real highlight. A special thanks goes to Jennifer, our waitress, who was very friendly and always attentive to our needs!

15/06/2025: I spent a day at the beach, the food was delicious, the spaghetti with clams was exceptional, the fish was really fresh, the only downside was the portions were not very generous...at least that's what happened to me

14/08/2025: We were invited for an evening of dinner, music, and dancing. The band was quite entertaining, but the place was empty; there must have been 30 people at most. The dinner experience was disappointing. The fish platter (mixed boiled meats) was absolutely terrible value for money. The prawns, seafood salad, and mantis shrimp all had the same bland taste. The pizza was much better. The table service was rushed, almost as if the evening was being quickly ended. Perhaps that explains the reasoning behind the venue's behavior on a mid-August evening. Sorry, it was a negative experience.

08/08/2025: Nothing to complain about the beach service, although the bathrooms are dated and could use some updating, but they're still clean. The only downside is the beachfront kiosk. We asked for a bottle of Prosecco, not on tap, to make a Spritz, and they said no. At 1:00 PM, we asked for a toasted sandwich and a piadina, and they said they'd sold out! How can you run out of anything at 1:00 PM in the height of season? We ended up having to go to another kiosk for something to eat. At this point, I'll probably go to another establishment next time.

08/07/2025: Always at the TOP excellent dishes old and new recipes I found everything delicious I've been going there for years... like being with family

30/06/2025: We took 3 spaghetti with clams (that's what it said on the menu) instead spaghetti with clams, nothing to do with clams €15 per portion, not even in a fish restaurant do you pay that much, 2 fried foods, 1 of which with a sole that smelled rotten!!!!! I pointed it out to the waiter who smelled it, making a face as if to say oh my god! The intervention of the "lady" perhaps the owner, was unprofessional to say the least! Apart from the rudeness (given that the restaurant has been open for 60 years) with an attitude to make fun of us she told me that 4 people in the kitchen smelled it and that the sole has that smell!!!!! 3 spaghetti with clams, 2 fried foods, 1l of wine 2 water 2 salads (mignon) €120

08/05/2025: Scoperta per caso questa trattoria fuori dal centro di Chioggia Località Saloni. Locale sempre pieno a pranzo, si consiglia prenotazione. Personale molto bravo e super attento ai tavoli, con servizio molto veloce. Propongono un menù del giorno oppure alla carta. Piatti abbondanti e di ottima qualità con pesce fresco di giornata. Ci siamo trovati talmente bene ed abbiamo pranzato per 3 giorni di seguito. Ritorniamo sicuramente!! Bravissimi tutti!!

01/04/2025: Trattoria zona tranquilla di Chioggia. Accoglienza e disponibilità come pochi. Piatti gustosi e abbondanti. Giusto rapporto qualità/ prezzo.

16/08/2025: An absolute disaster – never again! I've rarely experienced such poor customer service. Upon entering the store, I was greeted with a look as if I were unwanted. The owner was extremely unfriendly, rude, and lacked any sense of decency – no customer service at all. Questions were answered snippily, complaints ignored. Disrespectful is putting it mildly. You also get the distinct feeling that they're trying to get as much money out of you as possible – completely exorbitant prices for mediocre or even poor service. Nothing is explained, but at the end you're presented with a bill that's simply outrageous. I strongly advise anyone not to enter this place. Anyone who doesn't like being insulted and would rather spend their money on something with quality should definitely steer clear of this store.

16/08/2025: Do you have any intolerances? Skip the whole thing!!! You ask for something without mozzarella, you trust me, and then... You spend half the day in the bathroom. To the older, impolite, black-haired lady, I wish you perpetual food intolerances and allergies with all my heart.
