10/06/2025: After nearly a week in Chioggia we discovered this real gem. Owned and run by young people with knowledge and passion, the food wine and service were first rate.

01/07/2025: Discovered by chance. I highly recommend this fish restaurant to those looking for a quality culinary experience in a very refined and elegant environment. The welcome and friendliness of Sfaff and the owner made us spend a wonderful evening. We will definitely return to try other dishes from the menu... But last night's Big Catalana was Super! Very fresh fish, excellent value for money and selection of wines. Very good!

29/06/2025: We had a fish dinner but it was way below average...insufficient service

12/07/2025: We had a very good meal. The pasta with mushrooms and scallops was very tasty. The pasta with lobster and the lasagna were good, but not outstanding. The atmosphere was very quiet, which was a good thing. The service was friendly, but not particularly warm, and we had to wait quite a while for our order to be taken. We must say, though, that we arrived very late, and the staff were probably already tired. It was still a good restaurant visit.

13/07/2025: An average pizzeria, but when it comes to seafood, it's second to none. I recommend the Aloha fried fish and the cicchetti, as well as the raw fish and boiled meat. The location is truly charming, especially on summer evenings.

17/05/2025: We recently arrived at Porto San Felice and were immediately met with an unwelcoming and unfriendly atmosphere. Beyond the poor hospitality, we were deeply disturbed I and frankly appalled to see a picture of Benito Mussolini prominently displayed in the reception area. In Italy, where fascism caused immense suffering and loss, such a display is not only insensitive but also potentially illegal. Promoting fascist ideology in this manner is unacceptable in 2025 and made our stay incredibly uncomfortable. We strongly advise others to consider this before choosing to dock here.

03/06/2025: We had dinner on Saturday night, in the outdoor area. The environment is nice (nothing luxurious) and well kept, there is a nice green space around. The food is good, nothing sublime but in line with the price you pay in the end (the appetizer, the fried food, the gnocchi with scallops and the spaghetti le saline were good; the spaghetti with clams and the grilled cuttlefish that were not cleaned well were less good). The negative notes refer to a slight difference in treatment compared to the regular customers, to the menu that they brought us but which has very few dishes written so basically you order by hearing what the waitress says without knowing the prices, but they refer above all to the service which is decidedly inadequate. The dishes were brought while the previous ones were still on the table, they took away the cutlery without replacing them, they brought the first courses at different times, the waitress didn't know if the sorbet was alcoholic or non-alcoholic and so on... I pointed this out to a lady who came to ask how it was going (maybe she was the owner) and she responded with a smile saying eh the girl is new... Surely the girl was perhaps at one of the first evenings but the fault lies mainly with the person who has to manage it and doesn't do it well, certainly not hers.

20/06/2025: Oggi abbiamo visitato Chioggia e ci siamo trovati all’Osteria Penzo. Non avevamo prenotato ma i gestori sono riusciti a trovarci un posticino. Abbiamo mangiato i cicchetti come antipasto, gnocchetti buonissimi con vongole, radicchio e cipolla ed un’ottimo fritto.Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo, gestori molto cortesi.

19/06/2025: Ich hatte eine schöne Zeit in Chioggia und der Abend in dieser feinen Osteria bei Mario war das i- Tüpfelchen. Das Essen hervorragend! Der Service freundlich! Und obwohl man reservieren muss, bekommt man das Gefühl der einzige und beste Gast zu sein! Hier bekommt man gute Laune und verlässt das Lokal mit einem Lächeln. Vielen Dank, Mario!

26/04/2025: Locale curato (pare, perché si mangia in penombra !) piatti curati ma se avete fame, non è il posto per voi. La cortesia delle cameriere innegabile ma non altrettanto quella del proprietario che ha un atteggiamento quasi infastidito e spocchioso . Un sorriso costa poco e almeno quando pago QUEL conto, potrebbe rallegrarsi . Non ci tornerei .

22/04/2025: Ottimo ristorante di pesce nel centro di Chioggia. Il menu offre un’ampia scelta di piatti di pesce locale freschissimo. La cucina sa esaltare l’ottima materia prima. Buonissimi il gran bollito di Chioggia, il crudo di mare, la grigliata, come pure i dolci (consigliata la degustazione della piccola pasticceria). Il locale è elegante, i tavoli sono ben distanziati e il servizio è curato, professionale e gentile.

06/07/2025: The location is the only plus point of this restaurant, otherwise an experience to absolutely forget. We went for dinner on Saturday night at 9 pm and, to our great surprise, we were told that two fish dishes we wanted to order were not available. We were therefore forced to settle for the grilled food, the only alternative offered. The raw fish appetizers were the first alarm bell: the tuna did not taste like tuna, the spider crab tasteless. Then, instead of the first courses, the grilled food was brought directly to us. After an excessive wait, we asked for the first courses: they had not yet arrived and, at that point, we asked to cancel them. The response? "You ordered them, so you pay for them anyway." One of the three first courses arrived shortly after, evidently reheated: hot dish, dry and tasteless pasta. When we observed this, the waiter responded rudely, sarcastically inviting us to go to the kitchen to check if there was a microwave. Unacceptable. The last two plates of spaghetti with lupini beans arrived even later. Freshly made, decent, but nothing that could improve the experience. After we expressed our disappointment, the staff began to openly show us annoyance. We were treated with condescension and rudeness. In conclusion, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is the classic tourist place where the quality of the food is poor and the service leaves much to be desired. A wasted opportunity in a beautiful location.

15/06/2025: Very friendly lifeguards, but TERRIBLE management at the reception. Parking in the sun because there are no tents and no discount. There are 3 of us, we ask for sunbeds and an umbrella. We arrive at the lifeguard and see that he has only put 2 sunbeds. I go back asking for the third sunbed and I find myself FORCED to buy another umbrella. Absurd and not very fair. We will not return.
