08/03/2026: We went to celebrate a hen party on Saturday afternoon. From the phone call with the owner, they seemed very competent and professional. What can I say, an excellent experience. We started with a horseback ride. Even though most of the girls had never ridden a horse before, the instructor Edoardo made them feel at ease. But it doesn't end there; Giacomo also explained how he takes care of the animals they have. After the ride, we went for an aperitif. Another mention goes to the owner's son, who prepared a very good buffet for us: focaccia, polenta chips, rice, brioches, all fresh. So, really, congratulations, we'll definitely be back this summer.

22/02/2026: We stayed one night and had dinner there. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and the food was excellent! The children especially enjoyed the presence of the animals.

28/02/2026: An evening with colleagues, we ate a really good pizza, easy to digest, excellent ingredients.

02/03/2026: A place with a homely but well-kept 80s style, good food, simple but genuine cuisine with traditional flavors, an assortment of dishes ranging from fish to meat, a good selection of wines, fast and welcoming service, a price I would say very good for the service offered... I highly recommend it for all occasions, we were passing through and we were served very well....

19/09/2025: At the old meeting place, a fantastic atmosphere, it seems like going back in time, the guys who run it are very friendly. The food, both meat and fish, is of excellent quality. Recommended.

27/01/2026: Tried it twice, the first time at a dinner with 300 people, everything was great, wonderful. The second time, with 10 people, always perfect and everything was good, as usual. The owner was friendly and always open to conversation, I'd say very good.

15/12/2025: I had dinner here with an association... I ate well, the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

10/10/2025: Super handy when you need to refill. Tablet water isn't drinkable, but luckily I had my water filter with me. Also, definitely try the homemade pastries.

08/10/2025: The refuge manager was incredibly helpful and friendly. She managed to accommodate us at the last minute, and although we called, the rooms were basic but perfect for a refuge. The location is excellent, with a path leading directly to the shrine, accessible both on foot and by car. The food is delicious and traditional. We'll definitely be back.

21/02/2026: I'm sorry, it's really rare for me to waste my time with negative reviews, but in this case, you really deserve it. We were asked to leave the table, even though we had just received our amaro, late after eating. With our glass in hand, we moved to a table at the bar, standing, to finish our drinks, and, brusquely, you asked us to leave that too. Bye bye.

30/11/2025: We went to this restaurant this afternoon after a hike to the Bunkers. The cappuccino and punch were top-notch, and the salami we bought was delicious too...we'll be back! 🧡

07/02/2026: I returned for Christmas lunch 2025 and it was a wonderful surprise. Only yesterday did I discover that the management has changed, and this has a positive impact on the quality of the menu: traditional Italian dishes, carefully prepared, plentiful, and truly delicious. Authentic cuisine, respectful of the flavors of home. Best of luck to the new management; I'll definitely be back at Saccon!

25/01/2026: When prejudices come before the menu. They told me there were Chinese, so I decided to go for spring rolls and Cantonese rice, but... I found excellent Italian cuisine. Italian chefs and waiters, a pleasant atmosphere, and the only oriental touch is a friendly Chinese couple at the bar. Fixed-price menu. I'll be back, even with colleagues.

22/12/2025: I'll start by saying I've ALWAYS had a good experience and have always told my friends it was a great experience. Unfortunately, yesterday wasn't the case: it was all because of the waiter who served us, who was unprofessional in his manners. For example, he walked past me with his arm around me to serve and I almost wiped my mouth on his black shirt. The wait was biblical. We arrived at 12:30 and finished at 2:45 (we had an appetizer, first course, and coffee). He served me pumpkin pie and I almost found it in my lap. He was spiteful and disrespectful. I told the owners and they apologized: out of respect for you, I recommend you "get rid of him," he's damaging your business. We were there on Sunday the 21st at table 5, so you know who I'm talking about. Best regards.

15/11/2025: The pizza was good...the atmosphere was nice. The price was right...pizza, medium beer, and sorbet were €25. Of course...they could have offered us a little bitter, as we asked for!!! It really didn't take much!! The waitresses were nice and friendly. The temperature in the restaurant was a little too low for my taste.

29/12/2025: A classic place, one of the few restaurants still entirely family-run, the old-fashioned way... It's not a place to expect an exceptional location, but the warm welcome from the staff is exceptional. It feels like being at your grandmother's house, with dishes cooked by her... Special and you wish they would never end! Overall, I recommend it for typical Venetian food, from €20 to €30 depending on what you order.

18/10/2025: Very quiet place with a good choice on the menu (for example: snails with polenta).

26/11/2025: Morlacco and Bastardo are excellent...but the cured meats are also exceptional...we will definitely be back.

04/03/2026: A very negative experience, especially due to the complete lack of professionalism in managing communication with guests. I contacted the manager by phone simply to let them know that, due to work commitments, we would be arriving slightly later than the check-in time. The response was extremely rude: I was told I was bothering him because he was having lunch with someone and didn't have time to respond to my emails or messages. After this call, I tried to contact him several times to clarify the situation and confirm the arrival time (also considering that the reservation was non-refundable and therefore could not be canceled), but I received no response to either my calls or my messages sent through Booking. I find this behavior unacceptable for a property that offers hospitality to travelers. When managing a hospitality business, minimal availability in communicating with guests should be a basic requirement. This kind of attitude only creates stress and uncertainty for travelers. I personally would not recommend this property.

03/03/2026: Genuine and convivial atmosphere of a true inn from the times of wayfarers, excellent selection of wines and excellent dishes, more than fair prices, a lovely alternative experience.

28/01/2026: Lots of pasta and not enough sauce. We were kicked out halfway through our meal because of the dog (small, 2 kg). They saw it when we came in and let us sit. No prohibition sign. Never again.
