Welcoming atmosphere, very kind waiters, and most importantly: truly excellent food and drinks.
I've been looking for a good place to have a drink for years... I finally found it! Kudos to the bartenders! Highly recommended.

Today I wanted to try lunch
(Thursday, December 18, 2025)
at
the Bar La Nuova Sosta in Treviso - TV;
and I can tell you, simply,
Tasty and/or Exquisite Dishes.
Why?
First of all,
there's true kindness;
meaning respect and the like.
As for the food,... well...
I ate very well!
like, as in the attached photo,
Boiled Beef with Green Beans.
and/or
Meatballs in Tomato Sauce with Potatoes.
Furthermore,
thanks to the Fixed Price Menu,
I honestly paid;
even less than I thought.
For everything else,
I'd say everything was OK;
from the bathroom to the parking.

16/05/2026: We tried the restaurant: excellent food, service, and ambiance! Welcoming and smiling staff, perfect timing, refined and convincing food. Fish dishes to try: sea bass with potatoes, a highlight. The pasta with clams also impressed our guests. Creamy soup with an original scallop. Wide selection of good bottled wines. Fair prices!
25/03/2026: We were there for the dinner featuring traditional dishes like "bones, roots, and beans." Delicious dishes. Impeccable service despite the room being full. Excellent choice! I recommend it.

07/05/2026: The atmosphere is a bit dark, but very quiet and fairly peaceful. The kitchen is also open for lunch on Mondays. However, the specials are daily specials; not all the menu items are available. The pizza is good, thin, just the way I like it, and the service is quick. The pasta and fries are generous, but the main courses and side dishes are less so. Service is fairly quick, with plenty of seating inside, and a few outside. The restroom is clean and spacious, but the entrance doors are a bit narrow.
27/04/2026: A long time ago I was stationed on a tiny American Army site inside an Italian Army caserma in a nearby town. One of our favorite hangouts was a pizzeria called "Lo Straniero." Imagine my surprise when, almost fifty years later I spotted the name on a map when I came back in vacation! They've been here the whole time. The pizza is still great (and don't miss the tiramisu) and the service still friendly and courteous. So cool to see a family business thriving for so long.

19/03/2026: Hello everyone, clean and simple place....I stopped for an aperitif and meatballs (unfortunately sold out) but I assure you they are special!! And I also stopped for lunch, excellent first course and for the second course the shank...SUPER!! If you pass by....STOP BY!! 👍🏻😂😋😄🍷🍷🍷
18/03/2026: I was looking for a place with a set lunch menu for work and came across Gira Sole Ristobar. Excellent in every way. Welcoming and clean place, very kind and attentive staff. The food was very good and plentiful, so perfect for a break from work. Typical fixed menu price.
