24/10/2025: The place clearly doesn't need my review, but after visiting twice in one day, I felt motivated to speak. I am not a pizza expert or judge, but standing outside with a plate of half eaten slices, I mumbled "This is the best Pizza I have ever eaten". Perhaps not a good example of an Italian pizza, but coming from the US and having eaten a fair amount of pizza in my 50 years, it is amazing and I don't believe you will find better in this fine country. Grab a slice. It's worth it. And you will be thinking about it the rest of the day and find yourself back there later that day(ordering two or three). Cortina is a beautiful town, but this pizza will be the thing that stands out in my memory. Just go.

24/10/2025: I agree with Giorgia Lucianetti's comments. Compared to the previous management, prices are on par with those of Cortina, with plastic placemats instead of tablecloths. The food is excellent, as is the service, but the prices are too high for Vodo.

01/11/2025: Excellent, generous plate of pasta. The orecchiette with pesto and cherry tomatoes were delicious, but the anchovies were a little less so. I didn't find them on the plate. The perch was good. I saw the pizzas and I have to say they're worth a try. Quick and friendly. A good-priced business lunch. Stop by if you have the chance!
21/10/2025: I returned after a long time, and found the same cuisine and kindness. The cod was excellent, and I must try it. Service was fast, attentive, and always smiling.

09/10/2025: We were welcomed by very warm and friendly staff all night. Every dish was delicious and perfectly cooked! During the day the views of the mountains through the window is also really nice. We got the Sea Bass made in a special way in salt which was really tender and fresh. Lobster linguine did not disappoint either! Would come back

Fast service, but there aren't any opening hours on Google, so we went in a bit blindly; we didn't know if it was open. We wanted to go back later in the week, and it wasn't, which was a shame!

Vegetable gnocchi with local cheeses? We seriously need to change cheese shops.
I couldn't even finish the plate, it was so flavorless!
Very expensive! €15 for 8 pasta dishes.

20/09/2025: September 20th, we passed by for a walk with the intention of stopping for lunch after checking on Google to see if it was open and trying to call without an answer, once we arrived we found the door locked and we were denied access and the possibility of consuming food saying that the structure was closed, claiming that we should have informed ourselves better.
20/09/2025: Terrible experience. Let's get one thing straight: it's not a refuge, but rather a restaurant and who knows what else touristy.
I arrive on Saturday, September 20th, after a challenging hike of over 4km. I see the parking lot is moderately crowded and say, "Okay."
But no, the answer is, "We're closed." But closed what? A refuge?
I ask, "But what about a coffee?"
The Emperor of the Universe's answer is, "No, that's not possible."
Outside, there's also a distraught couple, an elderly mother and her elderly son, who give me a look of sympathy, and who I'm sure have received the same treatment, even before me.
I leave, suggesting to the waiter that he replace the "refuge" with "restaurant," which is much more appropriate.
