14/10/2025: The food was awful, not to mention the service. The waiter came over twice to take our order. Empty bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar were left on the table. The plate of shellfish for 25 euros looked as if it had already been eaten. The pasta was dry, with practically no sauce. We waited so long for the bill that we approached the service ourselves, and three waiters didn't know what we had ordered. I don't recommend it.

11/07/2025: Viajero ciego estafado — € 9 pasta convertida en € 63 Tengo discapacidad visual, y esta fue mi primera visita a una trattoria en Venecia. Desafortunadamente, fui engañado debido a mi incapacidad para ver claramente. El personal recomendó un plato de pasta, diciendo que era de € 9. Lo ordené, confiando en esa información. Pero cuando llegó el momento de pagar, el propietario me dijo que en realidad eran 9 € por 100 gramos, algo que nunca me explicaron en ningún momento. Sin pedir mi consentimiento, cocinaron 700 gramos y luego me gritaron que pagara 63€. Cuando lo dudé, el dueño amenazó con llamar a la policía, lo que me puso extremadamente ansioso y asustado. Les dije que no tenía tarjeta, solo algo de dinero en efectivo. Me presionaron hasta que les di todo el dinero que tenía para salir de allí. Como alguien ciego, confío en explicaciones verbales claras. Pero ninguno fue proporcionado. En Florencia, cuando pedí filete, mostraron claramente el peso y el precio de antemano. Aquí, se aprovecharon de mi vulnerabilidad. Adjunto una foto del plato que sirvieron. Parecía una pasta típica de marisco, no algo que debería costar 63€. Y para ser claros, los 63€ eran solo para la pasta. Las bebidas y otros artículos se cobran por separado. Esto hace que la falta de explicación previa sea aún más indignante. Más tarde, encontré otra reseña que describía exactamente la misma situación: a un cliente le dijeron que era una “pasta de mariscos”, asumió que eran 15 € como los demás y terminó cobrándole 63 € por pasta de langosta. Es evidente que este es un patrón de engaño dirigido a los turistas, especialmente a aquellos que no están familiarizados con las prácticas locales o a personas vulnerables como yo. Ni siquiera me dieron un recibo. Esto no solo fue deshonesto, sino discriminatorio. Evita este lugar. Se benefician de engañar y amenazar a los clientes vulnerables.

05/07/2025: Nous recommandons ce restaurant qui est vraiment bon! J ai mangé du foie à la Vénitienne un délice!!! Les pâtes étaient très bonne aussi et le service excellent. Merci pour ce bon moment.

If you want to step back in time and return to the essentials that give life meaning, dedicate a day here on Monte Grappa and head to Malga Archeset. All you have to do is stop and admire the view, the silence, and understand how Gianni and his wife live. They run this place with love and all that nature has to offer, offering simple and genuine hospitality.

07/07/2025: Yo EVITARÍA este lugar. La comida era terrible: una ensalada marchita y una pizza con masa congelada preparada, una salsa ligera y débil y un queso gelatinoso y sin sabor. Palitos de pan servidos en fundas de plástico. El servicio fue pasable durante la comida, pero luego agregaron un cargo por cubierto a mi cuenta y luego cobraron a mi tarjeta más de lo que correspondía. Noté el cobro excesivo y el camarero me explicó que era necesario porque estaba pagando con tarjeta. Me detuve porque me hospedaré cerca de este lugar y acabo de llegar a Venecia por unos días. Este es el tipo de experiencia que te hace arrepentirte de la decisión y sentir que te están aprovechando. Hay muchos restaurantes agradables a menos de 100 metros. Seguir andando. Error absoluto.

15/10/2025: Expensive, rude, and unacceptably discriminatory. A small, unremarkable village bar with a mentality stuck in the last century. Definitely avoid.

28/09/2025: Disgraceful customer service: two of us sat down, buying a water to sit in a half-empty restaurant. A member of staff, after a long look, approached me, asking what I was looking for, as if he were looking for trouble. After some guys we met at the restaurant gave us some chips, the staff confiscated them, saying they weren't ours, and then replied that it was none of my business what they did with them.

30/08/2025: My most expensive Aperol in Italy: €13 for one drink. We only booked a table because it was on the rooftop; dinner turned out to be inside, with only drinks on the rooftop. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it; the prices are outrageous.

04/10/2025: We really enjoy having breakfast here. Drink prices are at the usual Venice level, and it's close to St. Mark's Square. My gluten intolerance is lovingly catered for here. The staff is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is okay. I would describe it more as a typical student café. If possible, sit outside. It quickly gets too hot and crowded inside.

25/05/2025: Ci Siamo andati Domenica 25/05/2025 . Che dire al nostro arrivo locale ( ex stalla e fienile il tutto messo a nuovo) molto ampio ma molto rumorosa mi pareva di essere dentro a una campana e 300 persone che ci parlavano dentro, io per sentire quello che mi diceva la signora di fronte a me ho dovuto alzarmi e andare al suo posto e capire cosa diceva. Arriva la cameriera ci conta siamo in 14 e ci dice il menù antipasto della casa, come primi bigoli al ragù , tortellini di valeggio fatti a mano , come secondi tagliata di manzo , carne salata cruda e carne salata cotta. Dolci e caffè , chiedo se hanno delle varianti ma non ci sono in poche parole o mangi quello che ti portano oppure non mangi e già lì mi da un po’ da fastidio. Arriva l’antipasto due piattini con salame e prosciutto cotto e due piattini di giardiniera e due piatti fondi di polenta fermo la cameriera e gli dico guardi che siamo in 14 non in 7 e se hanno dei grissini mi viene risposto che queste sono le loro dosi in poche parole 1 fetta di salame mezza fetta di prosciutto cotto e un cucchiaio di polenta. Arrivano i primi ancora prima di finire il micro antipasto , 2 piatti ovali con bigoli stracott con un ragù di una non ben definita e dal sapore inesistente, e due piatti ovali di tortellini appena scottati in quanto ancora molto duri e che di fatti a mano c’era gran poco, anzi nulla perché sono fatti a macchina e presumo preso da qualche discount il ripieno sapeva di poco niente e di burro mi sa che si sono dimenticati di metterlo. E dopo cinque minuti che abbiamo finito di mangiare il primo ci portano il secondo sempre 2 piatti di tagliata 2 piatti di carne salata cruda e 2 piatti di carne salata cotta 2 piatti di verdura cotta, zucchine e finocchi il tutto in quantità insufficienti per sette persone figuriamoci per 14 Fermo la cameriera e rifaccio le mie rimostranze dal quale mi conferma nuovamente che queste sono le loro portate e io gli faccio presente che né la carne salata cotta ci sono esattamente sei fettine piccole per ogni piatto come fanno a dire che sono per 14 sorvoliamo anche lì arrivano i dolci, sempre i soliti due piatti con vari tipi di dolci ma sempre quantità insufficienti per 14 persone sorvoliamo anche lì il caffè imbevibile caffè riscaldato per conto mio, il quale io odio immensamente per il caffè riscaldato. Poi chiediamo il conto 420 euro in poche parole 30 € a testa e anche qua tiro la frecciatina alla cameriera e gli dico che non siamo in 14, ma siamo in 7 . Visto che mancava poco che dovevo cominciare a lavorare non ho fatto altre discussioni sono andato via con la fame mi sono fermato a Villafranca a prendermi un kebab e posso dire che con 5,50 € ho mangiato meglio che li . Comunque, se volete andare a mangiare prima di andare lì, mangiate qualcosa a casa. Dimenticavo di dire che a metà portate la sala da pranzo era diventata una cassa acustica impossibile sentire quello che ci diceva quella persona a fianco. Non ripeterò più questa esperienza in questo locale.

19/10/2025: Very disappointing hotel. Outdated room with worn carpet, very small room, outdated bathroom... view of another building... No Wi-Fi throughout the stay, so we had to go to reception to send messages. Staff was unfriendly and unsmiling. I strongly advise against this hotel. Not at all like the photos.

15/10/2025: I am writing this review to request a full refund for my recent stay at Hotel Messner. I got from you a fake email address that does not exist, so please contact me as soon as possible to solve this. The property was completely misrepresented compared to the photos and description online. Upon arrival, I experienced the following unacceptable conditions: Strong, unpleasant smell throughout the property Broken shower and toilet Unsafe doors that could be forced open with one kick Overall very poor hygiene Broken electrical plug Broken chair No hot water No Wi-Fi in the room, despite the listing clearly stating that Wi-Fi was available in every room For health, safety, and professional reasons, I had to leave immediately and arrange alternative accommodation at my own expense. This experience was unacceptable, and I am therefore requesting a full refund for this reservation. I also ask that you ensure your listing reflects the true conditions of the property to prevent other guests from experiencing the same situation.

23/06/2025: We went for lunch to take advantage of the “lunch 15€” formula. The place is small and with few tables. Once we arrived the waiter told us to sit where we wanted and we waited 15 minutes to order (there were 3 other tables besides us). The food is good for the price but waiting 15 minutes to order and another 15 for the pasta with tomato sauce is unacceptable especially for the formula offered which is designed for quick meals for the lunch break. Not recommended

22/05/2025: Sono passato da Vaniglia Gelateria e l’esperienza è stata un disastro sotto ogni punto di vista. Ho chiesto una sola pallina di gelato su cono piccolo. Mi sono ritrovato a pagare 3 euro. Alla mia domanda – educata – sul perché di un prezzo così alto per una sola pallina, mi è stato risposto in modo frettoloso e maleducato: “Lei paga una porzione, non una pallina”. Tonalità altezzosa, quasi infastidita. Davvero assurdo, considerando la quantità ridicola di gelato servita. Ma il peggio non è neanche questo. Il gelato alla nocciola “del Piemonte” era insapore, stantio, industriale, completamente privo di quella rotondità e intensità che ci si aspetta da un prodotto Igp. E non è una mia impressione: il Tribunale di Vicenza ha già condannato questa gelateria per l’uso ingannevole dell’etichetta “nocciola del Piemonte”. Altro che artigianale: qui si vendono illusioni, non qualità. E poi, l’ambiente. Personale scortese, molto scortese. La commessa non rispetta la fila, guarda i clienti con sufficienza, e sembra fare uno sforzo enorme anche solo a parlare. Zero sorriso, zero accoglienza. Pare di entrare in un posto dove nessuno vuole davvero essere lì. Le ragazze al banco sembrano sfinite, stremate, svuotate: un’energia grigia che trasmette disagio. Clima tossico, quasi da sfruttamento. Altro che gioia del gelato. Consiglio spassionato al titolare: fate fare un corso serio di educazione e gestione clienti al personale. Serve professionalità, non atteggiamenti supponenti e scontrosi. Per 3 euro mi aspettavo almeno di non sentirmi sgradito. Mai più. Gelateria da evitare.

21/05/2025: I went to Vaniglia Gelateria attracted by the “Piemontese” hazelnut gelato. I expected an authentic experience, but the result was something else. The flavor was flat, watered down, without the warmth and rich aroma typical of real IGP hazelnuts: it was clear from the first taste that these were neither fine hazelnuts nor a valuable artisanal product. And the issue is not just mine: the Vicenza court ruled that the “Piedmont hazelnut” label was misleading, because the product did not contain entirely Piedmontese hazelnuts or IGP certification Dissapore Corriere del Veneto . It is a mockery to present such a spartan flavor with a name that promises very high value. Then there is the atmosphere in the store: the girls at the counter were clearly exhausted, visibly stressed — zero smiles, zero enthusiasm. An attitude of someone with low morale, almost like a worker on a chain, with an obvious workload and no motivation. It is not an isolated impression: a review on Tripadvisor tells of a girl who was "rude, nervous, who did not greet and answered rudely for no reason" Tripadvisor . I do not know if it is modern slavery, but the environment is certainly not welcoming, nor human. In summary: Flavor: disappointing, lacking in personality and far from the "Piemontese" promise Labeling: misleading, as confirmed by the sentence Staff: visibly exhausted, oppressive atmosphere I recommend avoiding this ice cream shop: behind a high-sounding label hides a mediocre quality ice cream and a sad routine atmosphere. Better to look elsewhere for a genuine, authentic and more respectful experience both for the consumer and the people who work there.

04/09/2025: I don't recommend it. When you go to pay, the prices are different from the menus at the tables. Basically, you pay one amount one day and a different one the next, at the owner's discretion. P.S. In four days, I haven't even issued a receipt!

11/07/2025: Unterirdisch schlecht. „Service“ maximal arrogant, kein Bitte, kein Danke. Laut Schild keine versteckten Kosten, dann werden aber mal eben 7,10 € für den sogenannten Service aufgeschlagen. Das Essen ist nach wenigen Momenten auf dem Tisch und schmeckt auch demnach unterirdisch schlecht. Jede Mikrowellen-Mahlzeit ist ein Genuss dagegen. Mein dringender Tipp: Diesen Laden auf jeden Fall meiden.

08/07/2025: Terminamos comiendo aquí ya que en varios lugares había largas colas para sentarse. El servicio estuvo bien, la comida también estuvo bien, pero no fue la mejor que habíamos probado en nuestro viaje. Parecían centrarse en atraer turistas para que comieran allí. Las porciones eran buenas y el pan estaba bien. La mesa en la que nos sentamos todavía tenía migas de los clientes anteriores. Si bien la comida no estaba mal, hay otros lugares mejores para comer en San Marco.
