Malga Archeset In Possagno

Compared to what I read, it seems I stopped in a different place. I stopped with my daughter and a friend. We didn't even buy anything, but we played with the wonderful owner, Pepe, the dog, and chatted pleasantly with the kind and courteous owner. We took photos, and he told us about the peaks we could see from there, and what we could see from the little church on Cima Mandria. Wonderful place, kind man, we even regretted not stopping for something. Pepe was unforgettable, as was the Grappa.

Great hospitality and stunning scenery. If you want to step back in time and return to the essentials that give life meaning, dedicate a day here on Monte Grappa and head to Malga Archeset. All you have to do is stop and admire the view, the silence, and understand how Gianni and his wife live. They run this place with love and all that nature has to offer, offering simple and genuine hospitality.

Good food, friendly hosts. The menu is in three languages, and the owner explains what's currently available. Afterwards, a homemade grappa is a must. As is probably typical at these malgas, you're then presented with a price, but it was perfectly reasonable. We were there on a Wednesday; it was pretty much the only malga open for miles around. We felt very comfortable.
