25/08/2025: We enter the bar and order takeaway toast, and in the meantime, my 9-year-old son goes to the bathroom. I hear him screaming, I run, and he's stuck in the bathroom door. I ask the owner for help, and he manages to force the door open. He immediately tells me the door is broken, and I'll charge the child for it. He asked for €50 for ID. He'll call back in the late afternoon to let us know the actual cost. €35 without an invoice, without a receipt. Note that the door could already be defective; a 9-year-old doesn't have the strength of an adult. In that case, I called the local police. The law says that if a property is broken, the insured owner is responsible for fixing it. If anyone has experienced something similar with the bathroom door, I'd like to know, because what's right is right. For the rest, I hope these "GENTLEMEN" do their job well and don't STEAL from people like that. It's fantastic, they wanted to be right at all costs. As they say, the wheel turns. I hope so. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

25/08/2025: One of the few places where the owner (his son) would come out to ask guests if everything was okay. I really appreciated this gesture. We had delicious gelato and beautifully presented sundaes. We'll definitely be back to try the very inviting sandwiches.

22/08/2025: La Rocca D'oro is a truly special place for those who want to return to grandma's home cooking... prices are simply excellent!!! Must try.

01/08/2025: Premetto che ci sono stato due volte: la prima in due per un pranzo diciamo "su strada" dopo un lungo viaggio. Ottimi i maccheroncini al sugo di cervo fatto veramente ma veramente bene. Ma poi avevamo fretta e non abbiamo approfondito oltre. Comunque buonissimo. Vista la prima esperienza siamo tornati in quattro per pranzo e devo dire che la prima impressione è stata confermata: ottimo il brasato di costine di manzo veramente fatto bene. Gli altri hanno preso il piatto del Cadore ovvero formaggio alla piastra, finferli freschi, polenta e carne. E hanno confermato anche loro che era ottimo. Come dolce abbiamo preso il cosiddetto miele arrostito un gelato al miele su un crumble di biscotto al cioccolato con crema di lampone. Ottimo

21/07/2025: Locale molto accogliente, stile rustico. Molto curato. Piatti di buona qualità, ma quantità un po’ scarsa , prezzi piuttosto alti.

14/09/2025: I spent €61 for four pizzas and a beer to go. An exorbitant amount, which one would expect to be justified by the quality and attention to detail. Instead, the pizzas were burnt, poorly prepared, and delivered 30 minutes after the agreed-upon time. The only positive note was the beer, which was actually pleasant... but at €17 for a 750ml, I'd say the satisfaction was more of a duty than a merit. Overall, a disappointing experience, lacking a balance between price, quality, and service. Definitely not a place I'll be happy to return to.

11/10/2025: Exceptional experience! I was truly impressed by this restaurant: the welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service, and simply delicious dishes 😍. Every course is prepared with attention to the smallest details—you can taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion in the kitchen. We tried several dishes, and each one was better than the last! The portions are generous, the flavors authentic, and the staff is incredibly kind, always smiling and ready to offer advice. The place is perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. Highly recommended, I can't wait to go back! ❤️🍝🍷

30/09/2025: It's like we came to Nonna's for a family dinner. The atmosphere is like that, the cuisine is like that..... The prices are moderate, and the quality of the food is excellent. The only complaint is about the carbonara with truffles, the first time it was divine, the second time the main ingredient of carbonara was missing - the cream of egg yolks and pecorino 🥹. The tiramisu is fantastic

26/08/2025: Trattoria Giordani has a simple and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly. Homemade, tasty, and carefully prepared dishes. Excellent value. Recommended 😊.

20/10/2025: Dirt everywhere, an embarrassing amount of cold cuts in the fridge 😵‍💫. We ordered two glasses of AMARONE for €10 each, watered down, and two Amarone risottos that lacked salt and flavor.

19/10/2025: A restaurant in the heart of Verona with a large terrace, serving pasta carbonara that, if not the best, is one of the best places to eat it. High prices, yes, but delicious.

06/11/2025: We've known Beefed for several years. In San Fior, the usual delicious, tender, spicy biscuit... Sauce and fries galore 😋 We always love going back. Halloween party, loud music, obviously difficult to converse. But dancing rather than chatting is part of the evening. No objections. A location in Valbelluna would be nice 😉

27/10/2025: I think the quality has declined over the years, and I find it absurd that they only provide disposable cutlery. The service wasn't all that friendly either, but they were definitely quick.

14/10/2025: A perfect place for coffee and tiramisu. Local and relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

10/10/2025: Great little bar with reasonably priced drinks (for Venice). I left a genuine Panama hat on a chair outside and the staff put it to one side, so when we went back the next morning looking for it, it was returned.

02/09/2025: We had an amazing stay at Eirl Dolomites Retreat Sappada! 🌿 The location is perfect for hiking, with many trails nearby and a convenient shuttle to the center of Sappada. The breakfast was exceptional — fresh, local, and homemade, with plenty of options. The chalets are cozy, beautifully designed, and built with natural materials, giving a warm alpine feel. Staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for nature, relaxation, and great food!

12/04/2025: Siamo stati ospiti di amici per un matrimonio. Il cibo era davvero sublime. In particolare, il risotto agli agrumi con gamberi rossi, era stratosferico. Abbiamo anche bevuto molto bene. Locale decisamente consigliato.

20/03/2025: Via Tripadvisor hier terecht gekomen. Je gaat hier een beetje terug in de tijd mbt de ambiance en het personeel. Spreken slecht Engels dus even wat zoeken op de kaart. Smakelijke gerechten zonder veel bijlage voor schappelijk prijzen . Prima wijnen voor een prima prijs. Wij hadden een gezellige ongedwongen avond met lekker eten en drinken.

28/05/2025: After calling for two days at different times, we went to the restaurant to see if there was any notice of closure or anything else. We found a cell phone number that no one answered! When we got home, we tried again and finally someone answered! To our question: "Will you be open tonight?" The answer was "No (firmly), maybe we'll open in two weeks!" Ten minutes after I wrote the review, the owner called me and apologized for the incident. He clarified what had happened. I understand and I'm sorry for your troubles. Today, May 28th, I received notification of the owner's response!!! After calling me and explaining why there wasn't a sign indicating the closure and apologizing, I'm left with this insolent response, calling me a liar! I hope he's ashamed of himself, and if he doesn't accept criticism, it would be better if he took down the website. (I congratulate Google for reporting the restaurant as closed.)

11/11/2025: The place is truly unique; the decor is carefully chosen, and the overall feel is welcoming and pleasant. Service and food are above average. Recommended.
